and that's the bottom line cuz Stone Cold said so :austin4

My guess would be how Jake feels about the DDT is a common move.
Everyone else's is the weaker, inferior version.
But the superkick should've never became a common move, nor the DDT because if that can't put someone away, but a Pedigree (which has always looked weak as fuck) can...well... that's backwards.

nice comparison

ech would never allow teh pedegree to reach DDT status cuz his ego too large. he still wants ppl to use it as a finishing move i am guessing

thats why seth rollins uses it as his finisher right?

He said a while back that he hasn't been watching or keeping up with the product much as of late, so I doubt he cares. He may not even know that people are spamming it.

I don't see the big problem, really. Michaels isn't even on the show anymore, and one of the weird and cartoonish things about pro wrestling is how a certain move can magically work as one person's finisher just because they choose to adopt it as one, but for everyone else it's just a common move that will never get the job done.

Shawn didnt invent the super kick. Chris Adams invented it, I believe, and did it better, in my opinion and I'm a HBK fan. I'm sure Shawn thinks it has just become spam and atransitional move, but that really seems obvious to any fan today.

I remember reading a tweet by HBK telling The Young Bucks he might have to teach them how to do a proper Superkick one day. Made me chuckle. Not sure how he feels about it exactly, but I'm sure he gets what The Bucks are doing and isn't all up on his wrestling high horse when it comes to their Superkicks.

A long time ago, I don't remember if it was on WWF or WCW, but they actually did a good job explaining why this one wrestler's finisher (side Russian leg sweep) was able to win him matches, but was a regular move for everyone else using it. That wrestler's technique and execution of the move was simply that much better. Pretty simple and logical explanation.
