Not as in the biggest and most stacked, but a well balanced strong good looking card...

For me it is Wrestlemania 2003, Rock/Austin, HBK/Jericho, Angle/Lesnar, that was so well done with all those three matches delivered well. You might argue they could have done better with the midcard and Taker's match..but Hogan/Vince and HHH/Booker T did well do cover it.

I was thinking the same thing. It is the blueprint.

You have an EPIC main event that crossed over to mainstream.

You have an EPIC angle and MATCH with Steamboat and Savage.

You have some comedy in there with Bundy and the midgets and Slick aftermath with Tito.

You got a great tag match with Bulldogs/Foundation with the tied in story with Danny Davis and Santana.

You get a shocking babyface turn with Beefcake.

You get a retirement match and finale to a long build.

You get a shocking upset victory.

-----------

SummerSlam 2002 and SummerSlam 91-92.

WM 17 and 19 I would say too.

I think WM 21 gets a nod too.

Canadian Stampede top to bottom may be best ever though, but that was 2 hours.

in addition to the summerslam 02 mentioned here, i will mention that on paper Wm22 looks pretty freaking good too even if the matches were not all amazing. shawn vince, edge foley, rey orton angle, jbl benoit, hhh cena, everyone who was in the MITB, this is a star studded card.

My personal favorite is probably going to be WrestleMania X-7. This is an event I attended, so I may have a personal bias, but it was full of great matches. Not everything was great, but it had plenty of high level stuff.
  • WWF Championship: The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
  • The Undertaker vs. Triple H
  • TLC Match for the Tag Team Championship: Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian vs. Hardy Boyz
  • Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon was actually pretty solid for what it was; the finish was definitely the highlight
  • Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle
  • Test vs. Eddie Guerrero wasn't bad
  • Chris Jericho vs. William Regal was solid as an opener
Throw away matches I could have done without
  • Tazz & The APA vs. Right to Censor; logical match with a finish that made sense, just not a whole lot of build going into the match
  • Raven vs. Kane vs. The Big Show (Kane vs. The Big Show in a one-on-one would have been preferred for me)
  • Ivory vs. Chyna was okay for what it was, but this one really didn't matter for me
  • Gimmick Battle Royal was what it was; just a way to get a bunch of old timers in a quick match at the biggest show ever
