My appear as a jobber but in reality, he booked himself that way because he had been in the business a long time and recognized that Hogan needed to be fed.
And Benoit needed to get over but I bet he regrets doing that.

Kevin Sullivan had a long career of absolutely stupid gimmicks. He looked ridiculous in every phase of his career. I honestly don't see how anyone ever took those gimmicks seriously.
Seems like a nice guy though.

He was a booker in WCW, not sure how good he was as it's unclear a lot of the time who was in power and when.

As Jim Cornette once said (not specifically about Sullivan), people used to believe that wrestling was real and looked past the silly characters because they thought that the wrestlers were legitimately crazy. I think that Sullivan always came off as realistically ridiculous. The kind of person you may have met in real life at some time or another, who is so eccentric that it makes you chuckle while saying "he can't be for real" while silently wondering if he's really going to do something drastic one day.
Also, he wasn't the Zodiac, so... he has that at least

The people who say that Sullivan had anything to do with the Benoit tragedies in my opinion are noting more then Chris Benoit apologists who simply refuse to accept the fact that there beloved hero could do such a horrible thing when all the signs were clearly there for the last 5 years prior to the horrible crime he committed.
As far as Kevin Sullivan the person and the booker goes personally I think he was misunderstood and judging from his shoot interviews it's pretty fair to say that he's a very intelligent individual that was clearly miserable in WCW during the last 3-4 years of it's existence and it wasn't all about Chris or Nancy either.

it doesn't seem to have been said but Nancy pretty much left Sullivan for Benoit which was then turned into a storyline like Matt Hardy and Edge. A lot of people think there was a lot of tension for years after

According to Kevin Sullivan he said in an interview there split was pretty much mutual unlike the Matt/Edge/Lita debacle.

Had the best finisher EVER.
Was really into keeping it kayfabe. So much so that it cost him his wife. I honestly think he was a smart booker though.

Kayfabe had nothing to do with the downfall of his marriage to Nancy. According to some ex-talent as well as the people who were closest to them that there marriage was over even before Nancy was paired up to work with Chris Benoit.
