One that seems to be most common amongst some fans is that Jim Ross was the one who shouted "That's gotta be Kane!!" at Badd Blood 1997 during his debut, however the one that made the call was actually Vince McMahon.

Another example I've seen expressed amongst fans is The Rock's "Brahma Bull Championship" belt, which despite people claiming otherwise, never appeared on WWE TV.

Paul Orndorff died in 1988.

or in-universe ones that was retconned:

Honkytonk Man was originally a babyface endorsed by Hulk Hogan

Money Inc defeated LOD due to interference by Jimmy Hart (actual explanation was interference by the soon to be babyface Natural Disasters).

For many months there was a mysterious, anonymous GM. And then one week there wasn’t, and we never talked about it again.

Wait this is true right?

One off the top of my head is Roddy Piper's death being in 2015 (aka over 10 years ago now).

For a while up until just recently, I just assumed that we lost him in like 2017-2018.

When you listen to the theme? There's nothing in the arrangements of that song that make sense of being associated with Pat Tanaka 😂

That being said, it wasn't written for Tanaka. It was typical generic Time Warner owned stock music and Pat Tanaka was the first to use it, however, it most certainly wasn't written with him in mind.

That wasn’t his actual theme.

This was:

Now you can tell me if this Mandela Effect, but I do remember this being played at the end of the Superstars episode that HTM won the IC title to start the longest reigning IC title run of all time. Sorry Gunther lol

Regarding the rumor about Warrior dying, I'm really puzzled as to how everyone heard the same rumor before internet.
It is strange and the weird Warrior rumors started in 1990 after he became champion. Do you remember the tabloids saying Warrior was a gay exotic dancer before wrestling? Really strange knowing his stance in speeches later on.

People were saying he was a hidden Von Erich too in 1990. That one I understood years later due to the Modern Day Warrior nickname given to Kerry years prior.

Warrior also lost a lot of muscle mass by 1992 and yeah that year I see why the rumor went even further.

You’re right. He used that theme all the way up to the fall, when his more famous theme from the Piledriver album was released. And yes…his theme was used in a montage for the close of that Superstars episode where he upset Steamboat.

There’s actually a Torch Talk interview from the mid 90s where Warrior explicitly said he had gone off the enhancements. He was still working out regularly but his physique could not be maintained at the same mass. Ironically when he came back the reporting from newsletters was that he very quickly began failing steroid tests. I’m not sure if that’s fact, but he did appear to begin HGH almost immediately. His physique noticeably improves from early April to early May and keeps improving until by the time we get to August he’s totally shredded. Not quite as bulky as in 1990, but in far better size than his WM8 return.
