Watching the attitude era for the first time

I only started watching wrestling full time in 2007 so missed the attitude era.

I plan on watching all PPVs, RAWs & Smackdowns from late 1997 but when should I stop? I heard after WWE bought WCW they didnt try as hard as before.

So should I stop at Wrestlemania X7? or watch for a couple more months? ( I heard the invasion storyline wasn't that good)

Can you PM me how, too, please? Would be awesome.
And me please? lol, you really should probably just post it because you're going to have every other person asking for it. I know it's not all the attitude era but I think 1998 to 2002 are the must see years of wrestling.
WrestleMania 13 to WrestleMania 20.
And PM me too, please?

I agree with this.

You're robbing yourself of getting the full 'experience' if you don't start at KOTR 1996.

I would start at the beginning of 1997 as opposed to the middle of it. If you start at SummerSlam, you will miss out on half of the build to Survivor Series (Montreal Screwjob). Technically, the Attitude Era ended on WM 17, but I like to think 18 was its last hurrah.
wizard887 I was going to send you a pm but it wouldn't let me until I make one more post, so here it is lol
What? You have a link? Gimme that! I missed some part of the AE due to work and not having tivo.
First post here, been browsing for a few weeks and finally decided to make an account.

I'd love it if you sent me a PM as well! I sadly missed the Attitude Era since I only began watching around 2002/2003.

I've seen plenty of matches from the era, but rarely have I been able to watch full episodes of Raw.
I NEED to know how to watch all the raws SDs and PPVs from the Attitude Era! Please post or send me a pm as well! I would greatly appreciate it. During 96-98 I was young 8-10 years old and my mom would make me go to bed at 10 during Raw so I would not get to see majority of the shows from 10-11. I vividly remember DX stuff, but only if they opened the show. I NEED to see these Raws! Please lemme know!
How have you managed to find all the raw's from back then if you don't mind me asking? I'd love to be able watch some of the old raws again.
Youtube, everything on there including many full episodes of Raw/SD! from the 90's.
I'd like to know how to watch all these too. They don't have very much on youtube as far as full episodes go. And I don't know where you get the PPVs from unless you wanna buy VHS tapes, but I don't have a VCR anymore.
I am watching raw, smackdown, velocity, heat and PPVS from 2002,just finish summerslam 2002 yestarday. I Have all raw and smackdowns from 2001 to 2012 and complete heat 2002,2003,2008 and some stuff from 2001,2004,2005,2006,2007,Velocity complete 2002 and 2005 and ALL PPVS from WWE
Youtube doesn't have everything though as far as I know, and believe me I've looked. Would you mind at least dropping a username?
I have mid-1996 RAW, whole year 1997 RAW, whole year 1998 RAW, and whole year 1999 (Smackdown, RAW, and Heat). I downloaded all these a while ago.

I am missing the PPVs so if you can, please pm me the PPVS.

I personally use BDWJ1982, BDWJ1983 and NeizvestniiObzorchik on youtube. The latter has all the 2003 and 2004 episodes of Raw, Smackdown, Heat and Velocity uploaded, plus some stuff from 2000 and 2002 as well.

As far as the Attitude Era itself is concerned, I'm not entirely sure, but a lot of it can be easily found. Those channels are pretty useful if you are interested in post-AE stuff as well.

All you're doing is rubbing it in our faces now, the least you could do is share the website for everyone to watch.
I don't know if I would get banned if I listed the site where you can get anything wrestling or mma related, but it's not hard to find with a few google searches

It is a private site, but registrations are currently open so be quick before they close!
If anyone wants to watch the episodes with me and comment on them, contact me. Anywho, I sadly was a young child during those times, and I only remember glimpses of the Attitude Era. If you're going to start to watch it all over again, I'd say start in 1997. In mid-late 1997 is when things begun to get interesting, watch up until late 2004, when shit got bad. Small portions of 04, 05, 06, and 07 were good. After that, it was garage.
It's not that hard people. I just torrented all the attitude era. I've got all raw from 97-99, all ppv and smackdown from 99. All are in VHS quality, .avi format. If you want them just load up a popular torrent browsing site and enter in like 'raw is war 97' and should come up. Be careful though, a whole year of raw is about 36gigs!
^^. With a bit of research, very small amount of research, you can get the episodes.
