Watching the attitude era for the first time

I only started watching wrestling full time in 2007 so missed the attitude era.

I plan on watching all PPVs, RAWs & Smackdowns from late 1997 but when should I stop? I heard after WWE bought WCW they didnt try as hard as before.

So should I stop at Wrestlemania X7? or watch for a couple more months? ( I heard the invasion storyline wasn't that good)

I don't think you'll want to stop until you reach 2005-2006. But yeah, watch at least until Wrestlemania 18, and then you can keep watching if you're interested in Lesnar.
