ok so nexus have the ring covered.

q booker T's music - can you dig it suckahhhhhh

then instead of him sprinting to the ring keeps the music running for 80 or so seconds while booker takes a slow walk. you can tell the intensity in his eyes hes waiting for back up from the next entrant. cenas music hits they both enter together to take on nexus (booker and cena so much better then superman himself)

punk doesnt neccesarily have to go out he can roll under the bottom rope and enter later after a beatdown

then stare down in front of the wrestlemania sign

although booker was never gonna win he could of easily put someone else over by themself instead of being thrown to a pack of wolfs who really didnt need it. bookers exit put over no one imo

Totally depends on whether he sticks around or not.

If he does stick around and maybe has a WM program, then yeah maybe he should have made a bigger impact.

Though if he dissapears after this (like RVD did with his one-off return a few years back) then it doesn't matter whatsoever. No point pushing him over somebody else who could stick around and actually benefit from it.

i think either way sticking or not it would of got a loud arse reaction him and cena destroying nexus. would of kept the crowd entertained and preety much stopped the farse of hornswoggle's appearance.

we've seen it so much before why have cena superman them again? one of the reasons i think he was getting cheered when he was nearly eliminated

cena in the spotlight again crowd switch off atmosphere goes near enough silent around him

Booker T's entrance was amazing and I marked completely for the Spinaroni. Booker's pop was unreal.

The only thing that could have made it better was if he "turned up the heat" in his entrance and had his fire shoot up.

Probably would have been better if he came out, did his trademark stuff and got eliminated by Del Rio who outsmarts him. I agree with the OP in that this didn't make anyone look good 'cause it was simply a numbers game.

What should have happened: Booker comes in and briefly dominates Nexus just like he did. But instead of then being eliminated, Booker just gets beaten down by Nexus until Cena comes in. Cena and Booker clean house, and Booker sticks around for awhile, maybe getting eliminated by Sheamus or Barrett.

To be fair, I don't think WWE was counting on pops for both Nash and Booker to be that heavy. I mean they were pops of the night (especially Nash) by an absolute milestone. Had they somehow knew in advance that the crowd would be that into them, they probably would've had a reasonable 1-3 eliminating run in the Rumble. Here's hoping they've been given WWE contracts in the mean time anyway.

Well if you think about it Booker and Nash were both eliminated by heels, good way to garner heat? maybe, you would be angry at the wrestler who eliminated them, or atleast the idea is you would...

He came back, with the big surprise pop, got the crowd hot, cleaned house for a bit hitting the trademark jumping kick, scissors kick and Book End, got another big pop for the Spinaroonie, before getting destroyed by the big heel stable and put more heat on them. Probably got a pretty decent pay cheque for it, too. I'd say he was used pretty much perfectly, IMO.

Incidentally, Striker's "I'm marking out, bro!" moment was pretty awesome.

How great, watching my first WWE PPV since i dont know how long, Booker T comes out and I was like...Finnaly they bring back someone who actually has some credibility left!! But i should have known WWE would bury him within 1 minute...Turned off the rumble and didnt watch it further, thank god i downloaded it for free..dont even know who won the rumble, dont care tbh.

The man got a massive, massive pop from the crowd and from Striker. He came in, did every finisher and then the spinarooni to massive applause. He was never going to win, but he got the crowd back into it for Cena coming out after a lull, so no he wasn't wasted.
