This is the only thing so far that I cannot understand. I've seen brushes on graphics sites like Xtremealliance and Insane Intentions, but never fully understood what they were for, and how to use them. If someone could explain it would be a great help.

You download your brushes into adobe--> photoshop--> plugins--> brushes folder. Then you click on the brush tool in photoshop, click on the dropdown arrow next to the brush, then click on the blue arrow and click load brushes. Once you click on the brush you downloaded, click append. They should be at the bottom.

Yeah then, you just much about with them, and try and make a cool background, and thats what a custum background is.

I think some adobe brushes work with psp, but psp sucks anyway.
