the guy is a legit legend, and he deserves a decent gimmick going into Mania - WWE also wants to have a new marketing gimmick which spawns merchandise! "another" Undertaker symbol t-shirt or one featuring his image and a coffin isn't going to be different compared to previous Undertaker t-shirts

one with "The Last Outlaw" on them, and a new look gives them a difference which the audience will purchase, and therefore WWE make more money
