Foley and rock vs evolution WM 20.

Foley is my favorite wrestler and though the ending was kind of anticlimactic. I really enjoyed the match.

This is why WWEN is the GOAT, as a kid I could never afford ppvs so now I get to go back and catch up on the 15 years of ppv matches I missed out on. Once all the AE Raws and Smackdowns are up I'm going to watch the entire product in order.

I'm gonna try and pick some little known or spoken of matches:

The Hurricane v The Rock was a fun match on Raw/SD, I can't remember which one. It was when the Rock was back as the hollywood heel. They had a great chemistry. Btw I always liked the Hurricane lol

RVD v Cena ECW, for the world title. RVD so deserved the title, if only he had kept himself clean :(

Tyson Kidd and Michael McGillacutty had some great matches that virtually no one saw on Superstars and the old shitty version of NXT. Hell McGillacutty had great matches against Alex Rielly on Superstars.

It was a raw. Because stone cold came out. It was fun.

I'm with you on the ECW one night stand Match. The atmosphere and superior ending make that match but it showed that Cena can tolerate hostile crowds and work a different style. His closest heel work since thug anomics era

CM Punk vs John Cena NOC 2012 - No contest
YES! This is one of my favourite Punk vs Cena matches, but it's overlooked for MITB 2011 and the Raw match from early 2013. It's probably ignored cos of the no contest ending, but up till then, it's fantastic!

Hmm, as for Dean Ambrose, I'd probably say one of his FCW matches with Seth Rollins, only cos not everybody knew about them cos they weren't that readily available before, only in sorta crappy quality on YouTube. But then a couple of them made it onto The Shield's DVD, so hopefully more people have seen them now :) Same goes for the Shield triple threat in FCW, it's a precursor to an eventual main roster Shield triple threat <3

I also really liked the first ever Seth Rollins vs John Cena match that took place at the end of 2013, in my view, it was the match that made Seth slowly start to make his presence known as a fantastic wrestler. Before that, he was sort of pushed into the background in The Shield, but he started to shine.

And I was just watching a really fun Shield 6 man tag the other day, it was versus Cody Rhodes, Goldust & Big Show from Raw in December 2013. It was a great match and had some hilarious moments in it, like when Show chops Dean & Roman ridiculously hard, their facial expressions are gold :lol Plus Seth gets the pin in the match and gets really excited, so excited he runs off without waiting for Dean & Roman and falls over the barricade in his excitement :lmao

Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton - RAW 12/16/13
Punk/Cena from the same year gets talked about a lot (and for a good reason, that was an awesome match), but I thought this was the best TV match of 2013. Easily one of the top-10, probably even top-5 best RAW matches ever imo.

Also for his indy stuff, I'll name Bryan Danielson vs. Bobby Fish from EVOLVE 4. A classic match that really doesn't get the love it deserves. By far the best match Bobby Fish has ever had, and also the best match that has ever happened in EVOLVE imo.

Steve Austin:

Marky Whipwreck nailed this one.

Would also include his Summerslam 1997 match against Owen Hart, because it's overshadowed by the Piledriver.

The Rock:

Vs. Austin at Backlash 1999, because it's overshadowed by their Wrestlemania encounters.

Matches with Jericho in 2001

Vs. Benoit at Fully Loaded 2000

Vs. Shamrock and Mankind at In Your House: Breakdown

Vs. Angle and Triple H at Summerslam 2000

Bret Hart:

His Survivor Series 1995 match against Diesel gets credit, but his other PPV matches with Diesel don't.

Vs. Hakushi at In Your House 1

Likely forgetting more.

Shawn Michaels

The Rockers vs. The Orient Express at Royal Rumble 1991

Vs. Tito Santana at Wrestlemania 8

Vs. Tatanka at Wrestlemania 9

Likely forgetting more.

Kurt Angle:

Vs. The Rock at No Mercy 2000 and No Way Out 2001

Vs. Triple H at Royal Rumble 2001

Matches with Edge in 2002

Matches with Randy Orton in 2006

Owen Hart

Vs. Savio Vega at Summerslam 1996

Vs. Ken Shamrock at Summerslam 1998

Vs. Edge at In Your House: Breakdown

Probably forgetting some more.

DDP

Vs. Eddy Guerrero at Starrcade 1996

Vs. Chris Benoit at Superbrawl VII

Vs. Chris Benoit and Raven at Uncensored 1998

The Undertaker

Vs. Ken Shamrock at Backlash 1999

Matches with Mankind in 1996, overshadowed by the Hell in a Cell match at King Of The Ring 1998.

Mick Foley

Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie vs. New Age Outlaws at Wrestlemania XIV

Austin, Cactus, Chainsaw, Owen vs. Hunter, New Age Outlaws, Savio at In Your House: No Way Out Of Texas

Vs. Big Show at Backlash 1999

Vs. Ken Shamrock at Judgment Day 1998

Scott Hall

Vs. Diesel at Summerslam 1994

Rock v Shamrock v Mankind 98 In Your House. Was the show that Rock went over hugely in Montreal. He was a heel at that point, but he was starting to produce babyface potential, or tweener potential.

Rock v HHH Summerslam IC title match: Two underrated talents at that point, future hall of famers. Rock's selling was always imo the best in the business.

Rock v HHH Iron Man Match Judgement Day:. This match was my childhood in terms of wrestling

Wyatt v Reigns: The surprise of Wyatt being over with the crowd, the lets go wyatt, wyatt sucks! Was a surprise

Wyatt v Bryan: Wyatt was being booked as a monster heel in 2013, he even went over Bryan clean. Those were the days
