He's done matches before. He's trying to make a huge push to the UFC HW title though ATM. I don't see him working with WWE until that's done at least. He does love pro wrestling from what I understand though.

It would have to be somebody who is done with MMA. And would have to be somebody who at least fights Middleweight ie 185er or higher.

Dana won't let any active fighter work fake matches in the wwe for legitimacy purposes. So Sonnen, Barnett are out as both are still active - Sonnen will coach TUF Brazil against Wandy, and Barnett is probably 1-2 wins from a title shot against Cain.

Who is a bigger name that is looking to potential retire in 2014? Roy Nelson has shown interest in wwe before, though he just re-signed with the UFC, but is on a downward plane at this point in his career. Rampage and Tito are Bellator fighters, and Bellator is connected with Spike and thus TNA. Couture is too old also no longer a UFC umbrella talent either.

A major UFC name was expected to be in contact with WWE this week about coming over in 2014. This would be someone who has the right look and his persona is better developed than 80 percent of the wrestlers in WWE and talks better than all but a few.

that really narrows it down to nick diaz or frank mir.

Mir is 34 years old, but seems pretty much finished in the UFC. He has a fight against Overeem coming up though, but should get mauled in that one given Overeem will swarm him quicklyand Mir crumbles when that happens. Also if Undertaker vs Lesnar is booked for WM, Undertaker could bring in Mir to help him train sorta deal (given the Mir/Lesnar history), or Mir could be the special guest referee or outside enforcer or something. It wouldn't be a full time gig though as Mir hates being away from his family.

Josh Koscheck is another possibility, but he turns 36yo next month. Bisping could fit, but he's 35 early next year. Nick Diaz couldn't give up the weed.

I'd say Mir right now, only to be part of the Undertaker/Lesnar WM build and match.

I think something is wrong here. This is what's wrong with WWE. Why not hire an indy wrestler who can talk on mic instead? Oh because, drawing power? "Legitimacy"?

I hope whoever this new UFC guy shits on WWE, beats "superstars" (especially those who can't wrestle) for real and pull a Kevin Steen shouting "Fuck World Wrestling Entertainment".
