Re: cool news to hear nearing my birthday..

Considering none of them are doing anything they should go and bring back characters from the other Nick shows and make them part of the main vast.

Drake Bell
Josh Peck
Miranda Cosgrove
Victoria Justice
Jeannette McCurdy
Jerry Trainor
Noah Munck

That'd be a killer cast.

I've been watching the British show Skins on Netflix and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's always been one of those shows I've wanted to watch but just passed over, and I never watched it originally when it aired on Channel 4. It's definitely a bit dated now, but the cast is super enjoyable and the characters are really great. There is some absoutely hilarious moments, I've been laughing my ass off, just classic and well done British humour. The show also has it's fair share of depressing and dark moments, it's a good balance between the two and I love how the episodes focus on mostly a single character and the storylines surrounding that characters. It's really great. A lot of talented young actors that went on to do even better things after this, I recognise a lot of them.

Finish rewatching Todd and the Book of Pure Evil this morning.

I watched this years and years ago now and I fell in love with it the first time around. Laugh out loud hilarious, great mythology and emotionally engaging characters, that was the show I remembered. It also wasn't the show I got the second time around. Maybe I am just getting old.

There is the occasional funny moment but I remember laughing from start to finish the first time. There is a lot of interesting world building that sorta surprises you when you realise it is happening as they quite expertly build it beneath all the silliness without really making it all that overt but the show ends with pretty much every question raised, unanswered. I guess that is fine in a silly comedy series but it also ends up making the whole show feel a bit of wasted exercise. I think there is some cheap animated sequel movie or something? But that isn't on the platform I watched the show on and I don't know anything about it but maybe that answers some of the outstanding questions, I dunno.

So everyone should watch Bodyguard if they haven't already, this show fucking rules. It may honestly be one of the best British shows I've seen in a long, long time. I spent all yesterday bingewatching it, and it was practically the best six hours I've spent in ages. So cleverly written, great cast, and some of the best acting I've seen in TV Show. Seeing things like this compared to majority of Netflx's line-up really exposes how mediocre those other shows are, I've got to be honest.

I'm really not one of these people that bingewatches TV Shows very often, and I actually don't typically rave over them like this, but this show really deserves all the attention. What an absolute ride of twist and turns, and incredibly captivating. If you haven't watched this show, I'd highly recommend it. Only six episodes long, and every episode I feel tops the last. It's very, very good. (Y)

Forgot all about this. Still lukewarm on paper, but interested at the same time. Guess that sums up any live-action adaptation, really.

Breaking Bad is seriously so good on a rewatch. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much knowing all the plot twists & turns throughout, but there is a lot of neat foreshadowing and things you don't notice the first time. It really is such a cleverly written show. It's just so watchable. Like, I'm finding myself binging episodes again even when I don't need to because I've seen it all, I just enjoy it that much. I also forgot how legitimately hilarious the first season is. Whilst it has it's fair share of very dark moments, the chemistry between Cranston & Paul is unmatched, they are just hilarious together. I love the lines from the first season.

I will say it's definitely hard to watch certain scenes when you know what is coming, and what the characters are going to go through. I want to laugh at some scenes, but at the same time I know how bleak it gets for these characters and it makes your stomach turn.

Just finished Afterlife on Netflix. I thought it started quite poor but then I gave it a chance to settle in and quite liked it by the end. Living with grief in the way I have means I am really critical of stuff like this, but I feel like they really portrayed it well. It is one of those magic sort of shows I guess where the whole is so much more robust than its parts. There are many reasons why this show should be rubbish or not work very well, but somehow when all put together it just really works.

I loved After Life. I rate Extras quite high, but After Life might be better.

Just finished watching the first season of Barry. This show is really good guys. Holy fuck.
HBO's best show. I'm not sure how long it can last, but it's still going strong in season 2.

visually impressive but probably going to be terrible. i'm not sure what else can be added to the original story. it's pretty well self-contained and it's pretty pointless to add on to it.

Any of you who were fans of Darkwing Duck might want to check out the latest episode of the Ducktales reboot.

Nailed it! Season 3 episode 1, the Marvel episode is the most fun a cooking show can be.

Cia Hang is the greatest contestant yet, just brilliantly incompetent and openly stealing food. Dude fucks up his cupcake and serves a frosted apple instead. :lmao
