I'm just wondering at that point. Did anyone believe Hunter would have become a 13 time World Champion?
No at that never I never knew he would become as big as he did. Hhh worked his ass off 2 gain the success he has today

I made this point in an earlier thread how Triple H got squashed in his first Wrestlemania but had a better overall career than Ultimate Warrior. I think the same will happen to Bryan and Sheamus.
I agree.

WM12: HHH get squashed by The Ultimate Warrior.
WM28: Bryan gets squashed by The Celtic Warrior.

He definitely made people forget that this happened. He deserves major credit for that.

The gimmick he started with kind of sucked though and was a clear indicator of how out of touch Vince had become by this point. "Oh we'll just have someone act snobby and that will be our heel", but a couple years later, they adopted the Attitude Era mindset which was more in line with what audiences wanted at the time.

Not going to happen. Sheamus is not going to be a flash in the pan, he has a job for life with WWE. Warrior was unstable as hell and drove everybody crazy to the point where they even made a DVD just to bury his career.

I doubt Bryan is even going to win the WWE Championship (not the World Heavyweight Championship, the WWE Championship, the true show of WWE's faith in someone), let alone have a better career than a guy who could spend 20 minutes in a No Lock without tapping and still win.

As for Triple H, obviously not, but that's kind of a pointless question. How many people have 13 world titles? Hogan, Flair, Cena and Edge are the only people besides Triple H who have ever had more than 10. Better off asking how many people thought he'd be a multi time world champion, or even a world champion, period. The answer is still no, because at that point he was terrible and had done nothing to break out.

Some people are just born to be stars. No matter what happens to them, somehow, they always get there in the end. It happened to Austin and Daniel Bryan, too.

I can honestly say that I thought HHH would be out on his ass before that year was out. :batista3 :hhh
