So for you who are the best 5 strikers in football right now?

For me in no particular order:

Falcao
Aguero
Rooney
Ibra
Van Persie

Wasn't very sure to include David Villa, ever since that injury he hasn't been in the same level like he was before tbh.

Falcao
Van Persie
Hernandez (Utd) The guy is a dying breed, proper fast little fucker who hangs on the shoulder of the defenders and has fantastic finishing.

I would say Rooney but he's much more of an attacking midfielder, i mean he tracks back to help at the back like a boss, he sets up a lot of chances. He does score a lot but he definitely plays behind VP/Welbeck. He's changed his style over the last couple of years since the world cup and it's worked very well for him.

I'd have had Benzema in last season, but he's started this season really poorly.

No FALCAO? When was the last time you actually watched a football match? He scored 6 goals in his last two games, 5 in one and a brilliant goal in his last game against Barca. That alone makes him the best out and out striker in the world lol.

Obviously no Messi and Ronaldo.

Torres :torres :lmao

Seriously though..
FALCAO
Van Persie
Ibrahimovich
Edinson Cavani
Mario Gomez/Aguero

Not counting Rooney btw.

Ibrah is certainly better than him. I prefer Aguero to him too. Rooney and Benzema are arguable (they are more talented, but Cavani is more consistent). But there is no way that either Milito or Huntelaar compare to Cavani. He does everything Huntelaar does and much more. His only inferiority to Hunterlaar is sharp shooting. Milito is probably slightly better back to goal, but Cavani has far more strings to his bow.

If you don't count games in the League Cup or against rubbish teams like Naughtyland/Monterrey, then Aguero is confortably above Torres. Even more so if you compare goals per minute given Kun rarely plays full 90 minutes whereas Torres often does.

You can only play the teams in front of you, in terms of league goals both players have 6.

Torres Against: Reading, Newcastle, Norwich, Arsenal and Sunderland(2)
Aguero Against: Newcastle, Sunderland, Spurs, Fulham and Villa(2)

Average league position of opposition: 9.6 for Aguero, 10 for Torres.

Seems like a small margin for "One of the top 5 stirkers in world Football" and The prem's biggest joke.

It's worth noting that they are completely different style of player too. Torres is a penalty box striker while Aguero drops deeper, and drifts wider too. I'm surprised at Aguero hasn't scored more goals this season, but last year he outscored Torres easily, and if City can find a settled frontline, I think we'll see more from him as the season progresses. Aguero is a very collective player, so if City can hit full gear, and the forward players like Silva and Tevez can hit top form, Aguero will grow with them. Against Newcastle, was the first time in the season I got the impression that City's attack was really starting to click. So if they continue in that vein, then Aguero should easily get 20 goals this season.
