I realize that after losing to Cena at 'Mania some if not many may disagree with this, but I truly believe that they have big plans in store for Wyatt this year and something big will happen tonight.

After all they've put into Wyatt, who he's beaten, the build up to the match with Cena, the entrance, heck even the match its self despite the loss are building Wyatt into a true monster and main event player.

So I'm predicting something big happens between Wyatt and Cena tonight and it will begin a series of events that sees Wyatt become champion by or at WrestleMania 31.

Wyatt, Bryan, Lesnar, Cesaro. These 4 guys I see having a big year. As for Wyatt, he has won me over with his work. He's not bad in the ring, and his character is insanely interesting.

Yeah, some are being dramatic(in this case) when it comes to them saying Cena buried Wyatt.
I truly believe that loss didn't hurt him at all. Like I said in other posts, WWE has done a fantastic job at building Bray as a wrestler/character who is above/bigger than losses and wins.

The man had an insane connection with the crowd last night and his charisma is ridiculous.
He showed he is solid in the ring and is A+ when it comes to storytelling and psychology.

I see nothing, but great things for him. He's going to be a big part of this New Era movement for sure :D

Re: Tonight begins the year of Wyatt

I was shocked he lost last night, thought Cena would put him over. In the aftermath of defeat I was fearing the worst, the best case being he gets his win back at ER but it wouldn't matter, especially since Cena overcame all 3 Wyatts. On reflection they did a lot for Bray last night (although I still think he should have went over). Let's hope you're right OP, they can push a select group of superstars big this year, Bray is hopefully one of them.

The crowd will be behind him, and, if nothing else, I still love you Bray!!

edit- Bray also strikes me as someone who wouldn't need titles etc.

I agree. I dont see him as being buried by Cena. I also dont think Sandow was. Just in Sandows case, the writers had nothing for him. I hope Wyatt will continue his program with Cena, and go over at ER

It really didn't hurt Wyatt. In fact, I think having a big moment tonight might be even better for him then having it at WrestleMania when you consider everything else that happened with Taker and Bryan. Wyatt would have gotten lost in the mix.

Also in Sandow's case I just don't think he is nearly as good as Wyatt. Sure his character is somewhat entertaining, but its not nearly as entertaining as Wyatt. And in the ring it isn't even close, Sandow just puts me to sleep in the ring where as with Wyatt he is fun to watch, he's different, he really gets into his character during matches.

Can't help but wonder how much (if at all) unifying the belts (when they did) haltered Sandow. The only way was back down to start up again.

Don't think Wyatt was buried..... he really should have won though.... it would have been absolutely MASSIVE for him.
We'll see what the future holds with Wyatt though. I'm not sure that Cena truly set out to "bury" Sandow and ruin his career, but by beating Sandow he certainly hurt his career, even if it was unintentional.

Cena putting over Wyatt would only have help Wyatt's career, and it would not have hurt Cena because he's Cena and would be pushed as the top guy regardless. If within a few months Wyatt's hype starts to die down or he starts jobbing or fans just don't care about him anymore, everyone is going to point back to this match as the beginning of the end for him.

Not a chance. He's just another guy that you don't want to accept they have no plans for because you like him. It's happened tons of times before, it'll happen again. A year from now you won't even remember who Bray Wyatt is.

I don't think the kiddies could've dealt with first Cena losing/doing something dirty for the win, and THEN the Taker result. Smart decision not to do both on the same night.

The pop they got tonight was insane.
And the booking they got was even more insane. Cena refused to give Bray a win AGAIN, and they wouldn't even let Sheamus, who at least has SOME credibility, take the fall. Instead he beat Big E Langston who's lost pretty much every match since he became champion and has never done anything major, and as a result, may even be feuding with Wyatt now. That's complete jobber booking.

It's just another sign, as I said before, that they don't take him seriously and he's not planned for anything major. You've all been fooled into buying this so called "push" when it's nothing of the sort.

"Bryan lost to Sheamus in only 18 seconds! He's over! Done for! Never to be seen from again!"

Call me crazy but I don't think Bray Wyatt is going to become the most over wrestler since The Rock.

Besides, Daniel Bryan is a regular guy, not some fat cult leader. He fits the WWE image far more than Wyatt does. They're not gonna have a guy like that near the WWE Championship.

I'm thinking that was an audible. the faces usually go over on the show after wrestlemania.
