This is a rebooking and rebranding of TNA beginning in 2010. Hulk Hogan was never brought into the company, and the Carters sold their share of the company to an anonymous buyer. The new owner formed a new parent company for TNA, called TNA Entertainment, Inc. with themselves as sole owner and CEO. The owner also bought TNA co-founder Jeff Jarret's minority stock of TNA Entertainment, LLC.

TNA co-founder Jerry Jarret was brought in as the COO, and Chairman of the Board for TNA Entertainment, Inc.

TNA Entertainment, LLC. was rebranded as simply Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling, and 49% of the company was sold to National Amusements, the parent company of Viacom and CBS. A contract was signed between TNA Entertainment, Inc. and National Amusements, allowing National Amusements to take a spot on the TNA Entertainment, Inc. Board of Directors, as well as dictate the television producton crew, including the naming TNA Wrestling's Executive VP of Television Production.

National Amusements announced that they signed a contract with Bishcoff-Herley Entertainment, bringing in Eric Bischoff as TNA Wrestling's EVP of Television Productions and his partner Jason Hervey as Executive Producer.
