TNA's Bob Ryder has re-opened links with AAA regarding talent exchanges and shows, although nothing is known about what will come of it as of this point. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
good to see

in terms of lucha Meltzer is pretty accurate.

Doesn't AAA have a relationship with GFW?
yes, also the actual quote:

Bob Ryder contacted AAA and is trying to re-open the doors to the talent trading agreement. The two promotions worked together for years, but it fell apart. TNA is looking for a couple of wrestlers to be their Hispanic stars.
So nothing has happened yet

According to who?

I would look at Cubsfan or Luchaworld before Meltzer. I've heard he really have no legit sources left in lucha.

Ryder"Can we borrow ADR"
Dorian"Who are you sending"
Ryder"Gunner"
Dorian"..............."
Ryder"Hello...Hello....anyone there"

Bob Ryder is the guy who usually comments on internet rumors, so if you are interested and have a twitter account, you can just ask.

Wait, wasn't Konnan the Devil himself for TNA!?

It's seems like that TNA is just trying everything to get ADR....

If Jarrett and GFW have a working partnership with AAA, then TNA needs to leave them alone. Of course, that's assuming that Jarrett will actually produce actual GFW shows rather than partner shows.

But still, if TNA is looking for a Mexican promotion to partner with, why not CMLL? Heck, check out the Puerto Rican promotions as well. They've all got talented guys.

CMLL is partnered with NJPW and has huge beef with TNA

Good move for both parties. TNA might get access to AEP & Cage, Lucha might get a major television rub. Lucha is drawing 30 or 40k viewers total for their shows on El Ray, they could really use the rub. It's a win/win for everyone and it could end up saving Lucha from being canceled on El Ray.

CMLL haven't worked with TNA since 2008 but CMLL need a rub since they've been suffering as of late, and no way will TNA work with New Japan they dont like them and the feeling is very much the same from the other end

Suffering of what? they own their stadiums and just last year they made the biggest gate in the history of Lucha.

TNA will run at the oportunity of working with New Japan, They shot himself on the foot with the way they handled that relationship, you're fooling yourself believing otherwise

I don't really understand what all this indy promotions including TNA getting "linked up" really achieves? Their audience never increases no matter how many times they do these. What's the point of even doing this again and again?

Its all on TNA, TNA could be having these amazing relationships with other companies and the option to keep the roster fresh but there's always an issue.

they are only doing 2,000 at Arena Mexico per Friday Night Show when they used to fill it when Mistico was a top star CMLL got pissed at the time because TNA involved themselves with AAA the competition

All these amazing relationships has done nothing for TNA, we've seen that for over 13 years now. TNA needs to create their own marketable stars and aim past the wrestling community to draw mainstream fanbase. Associating with indy makes them Indy as well.

LOL

Obviously, they don't want to provoque a reunion between Tenay and Jarret, that doesn't mean jack to NJPW. TNA screw the relation because they didn't fuckin care about the talent, the belts, the exchanges and nothing in general.

If TNA could choose between working with Wrestle-1 and NJPW, you seriously believe that they would reject NJPW? especially with the exposure that it means now that they are without Hogan?

As i said before, CMLL just need to bank in a few shows, like the anniversary to make a serious profit, they own the Arena Mexico aswell as the majority of the staidums they work. So they don't pay for rent and production costs, they promote a lot of independetn shows for wrestlers so they can keep the roster on little exchanges aswell. They have agreements with Fox and Terra, came from their biggest revenue ever and are producing even more televised shows , so i doubt they're struggling at all

And the attendance was on a decline even with Mistico. You need to get your info straight

and LOL CMLL being Indy, just like year CMLL drew more in gates than what TNA did in all his existence combined

CMLL is the only non WWE company in HISTORY to do a $1million at the gate for an event and the year before that they did like $950,000 for another show.
