Do you care to explains why?
Why do I agree? Because it's different to what the competition is offering.

WWE offers you a kid friendly product with no blood or anything too shocking. This segment does.

Plus, you kind of feel bad for Abyss getting his head smashed in with a chair 4 on 1 and you want to see the bad guys get wrecked. TNA doesn't have that emotional investment anymore.

all I can say is look at how much better Abyss' shape was back then.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

I don't think they should have blood or violence just for the heck of it. It is more effective when it's done in limited doses. I do feel though that that was an exciting segment and TNA needs to have more of that. TNA just feels very predictable right now. They don't have very creative segments. A lot of the heel vs face in-ring segments are "Booking 101" stuff that seem like they've been done to death already. I honestly think TNA should fire Lagana because it doesn't seem like he really comes up with anything creative. The booking just seems lazy and uninspired.

I agree that build up to violence should occur more these days. I think earlier this year Bully should of busted Hulk open at some stage just to add to the heat.

Lagana is the brain behind the Joseph Park stuff, which automatically makes him the best writer in TNA history.

tna are never going to have a wrestler take multiple unprotected chairshots to the head on their programming again. after the nfl concussion thing a pro wrestling company would be insane to allow performers do such a thing

and fuck me did park get fat, he must weigh 100lb more now than back then

Where did I say I wanted unprotected chair shots? He can get his hands up and people would still be emotionally invested in it.

It's not about extreme violence for the sake of extreme violence. It's extreme violence to forward a story line.

We see beat downs all the time. Maybe they don't use barbwire but they still occur. Like Angels beat down this week, Styles beat down last week, or how about Anderson's beat down which was memorable. Also I agree with Mark from India. Weapons and blood should be used in small doses. If you use weapons and blood too much they lose there significance.

Screw the little kids & their PG crap!
I normally don't comment without checking "it out" I haven't...I'm busy watching Impact right now, but I got to say...that's an AWESOME sig!

Wait...that storyline has not gotten anywhere in a year. Well, since there are no other storylines on the show, I guess that is the best "storyline."

In all seriousness. I'm hoping for good storylines after BFG.
