so far this doesn't look nearly as bad as the trainwreck of the last spoiler where aj was taken out by bully ray. that taping looked like a trainwreck. this seems to be a vast improvement. hopefully it stays that way.

I’m skipping Thursday’s and likely next week’s show, but may watch a few parts of this show. I don’t care about most of their programs. They better not drag the Immortal stuff out until Bound For Glory like they did with the Main Event Mafia.

Hey, another long, crowded opening promo. I don’t understand why every year they do random cage matches on Impact right before Lockdown. I wish they’d shut up about ratings.

I hope Ink Inc losing a bunch isn’t leading to them turning heel and chasing the belts. The challengers in the last two title matches weren’t credible. The next ones should be. I wasn’t a fan of The British Invasion the 1st time, but I’m glad they’re back. The division needs teams (and still do), Williams may start making it on TV now, and Magnus has improved. Their return feud better not be a long one with Young & Jordan.

I’m glad they redid the Gen Me match on Impact. Well, I’m not since I think splitting them is a bad idea, but if TNA must do it, I’m glad that match will appear on Impact. I’ll watch that. Angle vs. Terry, however...

The main event sounds like a mess. No matter how many times Sting, RVD & Anderson brawl, I still don’t care about that match. I want to get excited about Daniels returning but find it hard given how he was booked before he left and how TNA is currently using similar guys. I hope they do AJ/Daniels vs. MCMG and Beer Money sometime down the road. I was disappointed they never did those matches the last time Daniels returned. Fortune didn’t seem to be too big of a part of these shows. These tapings could have used a good Beer Money or AJ match.

The overall match quality of these shows looks bad (the booking isn’t good either), which is no surprise since the guys who did most of the heavy lifting in that area the last year either had one match against poor opponents (AJ & Angle) or had no match (MCMG, BM), while most of the matches featured Terry, Gunner, Murphy, Morgan & Hernandez, Sky, Winter, Bully Ray, Abyss, Sting, and RVD & Anderson. I hope the next tapings have BM, Daniels & Williams in matches with decent opponents, and AJ & MCMG return soon.

You're right why would they want to give a taste of one of their biggest events of the year. If their not careful they may actually promote this PPV.

I don't know why you'd go back in time and dig up Daniels. They buried him good and proper. They already dropped the ball on him and it's too late to do anything with him now.

TNA need to stop living in the past and develop new stars and a new brand identity IMO. Whether it's WWE's past, WCW's past, ECW's past or their own past, it doesn't matter.

Why try to make cage matches special and seem like a big deal and something where major issues are settled going into an all cage match PPV when you can do clusterfuck random cage matches on free TV that aren’t announced ahead of time, are done in storyline solely to get ratings (does the average fan even care about that?), don’t settle anything, and feature a group of guys who on paper don’t look like they’ll make a solid, exciting match up? All that seems like stuff that diminishes the importance of one of their PPV’s big selling points. Matches like that or that bad 3 minute cage match they did with the Band, Eric Young & I believe RVD on Impact before last year’s Lockdown gave me a taste of something I didn’t want to pay for a full serving of.

I have no problem with them doing angles involving the cage on these shows provided they’re good and don’t hurt the gimmick by making the cage look easily escapable or destroyed, but I see no reason to do a cage match this month let a random free cage match fans aren’t given a reason to care about that isn’t announced until 15 minutes into the show on Impact two weeks before the PPV.

I actually was off and decided to hit this taping today.
Pretty fun and enjoyed it.
Crowd was very 50/50
Big pops for Mickie James,Steiner,Fortune
Some guys tried hard to get "this is wrestling" chants for Gen Me's match.
I politely said "Really i thought it was Golf".I dont think they got it.
Crowd was fairly dead for Velvet/Winter.

Crowd loved beer Money and just everyone exploded when Daniels made the save.
People were cheering for a solid 5 or 10 minutes.It was honestly one of the
loudest pops ive heard in the IZ.

Oh and people asking about the girls in front row.Either plants or upcoming
models attempting to get on camera.They have to be.I was standing near them and
could see it a mile away.The way the acted and posed it was very obvious.


There is about 5 people who really need to shut the fuck up.
There is a small group(not saying they are together) that only try to cheer heels or
start some retarded chant.Its actually really bad considering i almost never even
care to notice these things.Why do people have to say anything just cheer or boo.Its
really simple.Thank God i didnt hear "WHAT" chants during promos i would have killed
someone.

Winters music is pretty awesome.

YAY British Invasion.

Lots of great talent in TNA right now and hopefully they will try to get this
potential trainwreck back on track.

the problem is they WANT a bad show ! they would watch it with open eyes to catch a bad thing out of it! if u guys stop watching something as such smark and try to enjoy the show insted like a true casual fan ... then everything would be right with the world !
