The only part I thought was dumb as kicking out of the golden globe spot. Otherwise, I've enjoyed his booking and his run with this title. I mean he's still just a midcard champion at the end of the day and is mostly beating lower midcarder or midcarders, but he's remained steadily over with every crowd they go to and has a gimmick mostly everybody seems to enjoy. Plus, he usually does some of the higher numbers on the show so I have no problem with his booking really.

It's the booking of others like Wardlow that are the real issues, or that god awful TMZ bullshit with QT and Hobbs.

The OC gimmick is cool every once in a while but not sustainable if we are talking real professional wrestling. Imo slap nuts would have been the better choice as you can have him work with younger talent while attempting to make the title mean something. He might be old, but he can cut a promo and is in great shape for his age.
