The WWE should be more real

Seriously,I think this is one of the reason why the WWE don't get high ratings like in the past. They aren't that real like ... the UFC for exemple.
People don't take wrestling seriously today,in fact, now, they take it as a joke and the same goes for everything. The stage are too much clean,...
I am not talking about making the storylines real like in UFC but they need to put more heat and real bad guy.

I mean,we can just take a exemple with the Brock Lesnar's match.Maybe they weren't great and everything but it is was wrestling is about. Two guys who fight to the death. This is why Lesnar vs Cena and Lesnar vs Triple H are so great, they are believable and I'm sure that if more match were more like these one,the ratings would be better

That's what WCW did, and became very successful, WWE followed.

WCW went bust and now WWE just went back to cardboard superhero crap and are on cruise control because of no competition.
I'm not sure if this is where OP is getting at, but I think more believeable characters (charisma, looks, presentation combo) and more intense storylines would definitely help a lot. Most characters are too basic currently and won't be remembered in 10 years time, same for most feuds bar few.
No. Wrestling needs interesting storylines. Not ''I just dislike you'' types of feuds.
Two guys who fight to the death.
:lmao WWE presents Night of Hunger Games

I don't want real storyline like in UFC but I want something where there is a real hate between the guy.Just look Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk or Del Rio vs Sheamus,It's not believable that these guys hate eachother and want to kill eachother.
And yes, fight who are more real could help the product.Violence is necessary in wrestling because that makes people believes it's real.

You have to have talent both in ring and acting wise to pull it off. So I wouldn't hold my breath with this current roster. You'll have to watch some old NWA(Magnum vs Tully FTW) if you want to see some realistic heated matches guys today aren't skilled enough to pull it off.
does the UFC have real "storylines"??? really??

the UFC is a real competition, and the competitors are real athletes who want to move up the roster and challenge for a championship - this is what makes UFC a successful sport. their athletes are fighting for the ultimate prize in the game, the championship title and the "glory" which comes from being a champion

professional wrestling doesn't have this, and that's what makes the current era pale in comparison to the eras of old - up until the 80s, wrestling was all about the championship and challenging for the titles of the relevant divisions (with the odd storyline on the side to mix up the interest)

WWE today has no interest in making their champions seem like a genuine sport star, all they want is the TV and entertainment industry to accept WWE as an entertainment product, not a "sports" product which is what UFC is

wrestling today just needs compelling television, and enough of a hook to make people want to pay money each month to watch the various storylines progress/end etc

Ok, nobody will by the WWE as real. You do know that that are cooperating with each other during their match so that way their match would look good. Trying to make wrestling "real" would only lead to more injuries, terrible/botchfest matches, and wrestler's doing their best to make the other look terrible. As far as storylines being real, every storyline in wrestling is fake to begin with. Plus with kayfabe all but dead, the audience would just say that it's part of a storyline if a storyline blurs fantasy from reality.
Everybody knows pro wrestling is scripted, so there's no point to make it more real. Nobody is going to take it anymore seriously then they already do, and in my opinion, I think most wrestling haters are just content to hate on the wrestling and not give it the time of day.

Besides I don't know how more real you could make WWE. We're basically in the reality era now.
For me it is the opossite. Wrestling is not real and needs to embrace that. When WWE goes boring is precisely when they try to replace unique and entertaining but "not real" or "over the top" characters and storylines for "normal guys" with "legit" attires, no gimmicks and plain stories based solely on things like "I don't like you" or "I want that championship".

Yes,I agree with that.I love the entertaining guys or the moves like the Worm but when I talk about real,I talk more about the Main-Event fight.Imagine a wrestling match with good brawl like Triple H vs Lesnar but also more wrestling moves. It would be perfect but the problem is that the WWE don't know how to make entertaining character entertaining so I rather choose something real like Lesnar vs Triple H (but without the boring feud ) than something like we have now
If Domanick Cruz joined WWE i swear to god id take a plane to America and stalk WWE shows LOL. If they want more girls to enjoy wrestling then bring in some more attractive boys, and then what they can do is make the less attractive men have fueds with them.

JK HAHA ( Not about the Domin8r though)

Seriously though when i want some real action il switch over to UFC, when i want to be entertained its WWE, Wrestling isnnt even as big as it was in the 90s

I understand. More realistic matches would be great. I'm tired of things like "I'm the heel so I am going to he easily dominated and I cannot win a match cleanly for my life", "I'm the face so I can be beaten during 10 minutes but at last I will win the match using two moves", and of course the classic "tag team heel punish a member of the face tag team but instead of doing a finisher and finish the match, they beat him endlessly for no reason until he reacts and makes the hot tag". And of course I miss more brutal matches like the Batista-Undertaker ones. In fact the PG era has destroyed the Hell in a Cell matches, for example.

Wrestling at the end of the day is a TV show, they go off a script. They are told to do those things. The wrestler's are playing character. They are not their real life persona's that they display on TV.
