A few months ago Seth said he would love to wrestle him and Omega did an interview and responded by saying it'd be 'alot of fun.' It definitely would be something. Imagine a 4 way between Omega, Seth, AJ, and Bryan?

:trips8

That being said. I don't think he's coming to WWE. I think he's going to AEW. Plus, even if he were to go to WWE, I'd imagine his moveset wouldn't be the same as it is everywhere else. WWE's schedule is alot more brutal than NJPW or anywhere else. So, the big, risky moves I'd imagine would be curtailed. Either way, it is fun to think about all of the matchups, though.

Is this Seth's first rumble match since he was no2 with Punk I can't remember?
He was in the 2018 Rumble!

And Seth is my pick for the Rumble winner. Mainly cos I know Dean ain't got a chance of winning, lol.

I'm predicting that Seth will be the talk of the wrestling world after the Royal Rumble. So obviously I'm picking him to win and in doing so I think he'll win from an early position. #1 or #2 is a bit too obvious. I'd like to see him enter around the 4-8 range. The great thing about Seth is that he's athletic enough to create those close call moments where you think he's probably going to get eliminated, but finds a way to stay alive.

As far as a match with Brock goes there could be some memorable spots in this one. Such as:

• Falcon Arrow reversed on the 2nd attempt into an F5
• Curb Stomp countered into F5 (similar to the RKO at WM 31)
• F5 countered into a small package

If Brock is willing to give in this match (he wasn't against Dean) it can be 5 stars.

I hope both guys are among the iron-men for this year's rumble match :mark:

I'd like to see Seth Rollins last a long time like he did in 2014 (with 48 minutes), and I'd like to see Finn Balor last a long time like he did in 2018 (with 57 minutes) :mark: :mark:

Remember how I said last week that all it takes is one strong segment to reignite someone's momentum? Well they did that with Rollins. He was on fire in that 6 Man Tag and they smartly built up to his hot tag.

And now he's got Ambrose in the main event in Falls Count Anywhere. Guaranteed fuckery, but it's time for them to redeem themselves for TLC.

Let the record show I am making this post after the opening 6 man tag Seth was in, but before the Seth/Dean match later on tonight.

I said this in the Raw thread, too. But in the match later on tonight I'd love to see them have Dean put Seth through the cinderblocks as revenge, and Dean wins the feud 2-1.

Seth doesn't show up on Raw these next two weeks before the Rumble, and doesn't show his face again until his number is called during the Rumble match. Makes complete sense and the pop would be even more immense.

BTW, those pops and chants he got tonight (both during his entrance and the match). :banderas He woke the fuck out of that crowd when he came in there...again.

Great minds think alike dude, I mentioned cinderblocks in the Raw thread too :lol It IMMEDIATELY came to mind when the match was announced.

This is exciting :mark: I hope Dean & Seth put on a fucking excellent match and shut all these whiny people who are down on them right up. This is how it should have been booked to start with!!

Him walking directly backstage after the 6 man tag and knocking the coffee out of Triple H's hand was great. Love to see that more aggressive personality shine through. The look on his face too like he wasn't having any of that shit.

:banderas

Fucking loved it.

I think they're killing time before the Rumble, cos it's not for 3 weeks still.

I am bummed Dean vs Seth is over, and with a whimper instead of a bang. The match was really good, too bad the ending was absolute ass.

#330 ·
Lol so I was in the Raw thread and I haven't been there in a long time but I remember when we had like 200/300 pages. And now it's in the 80s damn :lmao

The finish to tonight's match is because they want Seth to have a mini-feud with Lashley these next couple of weeks going into the Rumble. The fact that they are pairing Seth with a former MMA fighter (Lashley) before he might face Brock at WM isn't a coincidence, either, methinks. So, I'm fine with it.

Still would've like to have seen what results would've been yielded if Dean put Seth through cinderblocks and Seth didn't show up on WWE TV until the Rumble match, though. Think that would've been awesome. But also pairing Seth with a big dude who used to be an MMA fighter makes sense if Seth does indeed face Brock at WM.

The outside the ring Moonsault was amazing, and so was the HHH interaction. I think WWE might be at long last unleashing Seth.

If he keeps his current edge, this is going to be a hell of a year for him. Maverick, rebellious, arrogant, crazy face Rollins is what I've been clamoring for since his turn.

They finally remembered his awesome matches and his heel but "won't take shit from anyone" persona got him great reactions at the end of his WWE title run.

Everyone loves an arrogant MOFO who can back it up.

I watched the Rollins/Lesnar/Cena triple threat about a week ago just randomly on a whim. Still very much holds up to this day. Even in that match as a heel, it was still apparent (at least IMO) that Seth was made to be a face. Or, at least have a long, extended run as a face before turning heel. Fans didn't really boo him in that match much. They wanted to cheer him clearly. Continue to book him like how they've booked him these past 2 weeks for the next couple of years as a face. Then, maybe it will be time to turn him heel again in 2-3 years from now. I'm enjoying the recent character development.

IIRC, Seth got a standing ovation after that match with John and Brock. Pretty impressive for a guy who was the most hated heel at the time.

Seth has to have an edge as a babyface if he's going to go up against Brock. I loved the interactions Seth and Heyman have had in the past. From that contract singing before the 2015 Rumble. Seth cutting off Paul with his own words was hilarious. Pretty solid promo from Rollins. Also Brock sold that curbstomp like a pro.

I wonder how Brock feels about Seth? I haven't heard of him having any beef with Seth or not liking him. Just hope if this match does happen, Brock puts in the effort. Heyman is a big fan of Seth's so maybe that will factor into Brock's participation level. We've seen how he feels about Ambrose and Braun and those matches were terrible. I'd hate to see Seth finally get his big Mania match only for Brock to be lazy. Can't see that happening but you never know.
