Another great week for Seth. Not only a great match with Finn, but a good opening promo and he was once again the most over person on the entire show this week. He's on such a roll in the ring, as a character and promo-wise.

I am curious if for Survivor Series if it'll be just be a singles match with Theory or since Ali and Lashley are involved in this story; if they make it a Fatal Fourway with Rollins/Theory/Ali/Lashley. Either match is going to be great, because it's Seth, but I think the Fourway holds alot more possibilities and overall fun. We shall see. Here are the videos of Seth's segments tonight from WWE's official Youtube page:

Triple threat between Seth/Lashley/Theory would be better. What has Ali done kayfabe wise to deserve a shot? All he did was return and Attack Seth... then the next week when he's in a match and Seth his scouting his competition he loses to Austin Theory. Then this week he gets destroyed by Lashley. Ali has always been booked like a joke and he brings down the credibility of the match if it becomes a fatal four way. Lashley and Theory have better stories and heat now for challenging for the title and they're both former US Champions so they have claim to the title, while Ali is just ''there''.

Ali is a filler, fall guy challenger and if the match is made a fatal four way and they want to protect everyone else then I could see Ali taking the pin. But other then that, he shouldn't be in the match. He hasn't done anything to deserve a title shot and the only reason he's even featured is because... he returned and attacked Seth some weeks ago. But since then Seth has turned face, Lashley has turned heel, Theory has lost the briefcase and all of these things have overshadowed flippy Ali getting his filler title program.

That black and gray attire of his is still one of my favorites. That took place in my home arena of the Prudential Center in NJ. After Seth came back at the end, I was kicking myself that I didn't go to the show, haha. The pop he got here was incredible.

Well, last week I predicted the match at Survivor Series would be a 4-Way between Rollins, Ali, Lashley, and Theory...and I was almost right. No Ali in the match, so it's a 3-Way, instead. Should be an excellent match and I'm looking forward to it. Seth with another really good promo tonight. Wish he was in the ring while cutting the promo, but whatever, the promo delivered was very good. Here it is from WWE's Youtube channel:

Yeah, I just wanted to toot my own horn about my prediction being right.

It's interesting that they didn't go with Ali considering he was the first one to feud with Seth when he made his return and it looked like they were building to Ali being Seth's first challenger, but it didn't happen. He could have easily been inserted into the match based off that - and if Ali was in the match he could have been the fall guy to protect the others from losing who all have good momentum now. It just shows how little the company value Mustafa Ali.

But now it's a triple threat, who is losing? I can't see Seth losing the title this early and I can't see Bobby Lashley taking the fall because he's more protected, so I think Theory will take the loss, which would do nothing for his momentum and the story they are telling now. Seth doesn't need the title though and with his recent turn and crowd support, he could move on to something better and I'm sure his fans (which funnily enough I am not one of, I only started posting in here to discuss the match/story because Theory is involved) would say he's above the midcard division anyway.

Seth and Lashley have more potential to work main event programs when needed, while Theory needs rebuilding, so Theory benefits more being in the midcard division and US Champion for now. I would like Theory to win the title because I know they're not going to put him in the main event anytime soon. But I'm curious what Seth fans think of where Seth should be now, especially considering in two months time it will be the Rumble and then the build to WrestleMania and I'm guessing Seth fans would want him in a bigger program on that show instead of still being US champion.

3 years ago tonight on RAW (11/25/19); Rollins turned heel, when the night after Survivor Series 2019; Seth shit on the entire RAW roster and blamed them for Raw losing at Survivor Series. Who can forget the great lines such as; "Charlotte, you weren't even the last woman standing in your match. And you call yourself a Flair?!" And, of course, "Rey, we all love you, but maybe you're not the same Rey Mysterio that we all grew up with."

One of the best heel promos of the modern era, if not the best. Fucking love this promo, and love that 3 years later, Seth is still going strong. Thank goodness for this heel turn 3 years ago tonight; it started to right the ship for Rollins:

Well, we were all wrong. Great match, one of the best matches of the year, any company. Rollins is the most over guy in the company right now, so they better take advantage of that. Crowd felt kinda deflated after Theory won, though. It wasn't heat, it was more like deflation, so I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Rollins not only had the fans singing his theme song (like usual), but also got VERY loud "LETS GO ROLLINS" chants at one point, too. I'm not saying this because I'm a fan of his, but he really and truly is the most over guy in the company these days, and one of the most over in the entire world.

Great match and creative finish. That was the first time Rollins topped off his suicide dives with that jump over the top rope in YEARS, too. Liked his new gear, as well. Put one of the World Titles on this man ASAP.

From my point of view the crowd reacted more in shock because it was a shocking finish. Good booking though in that kept everyone looking strong. I'm not sure if this decision was made just because of the terrible handling of Theory's cash in and the backlash that came from that. Maybe Triple H sees giving Theory the US title now as ''redemption''. Either way, I'm fine with the outcome. Seth could move on to bigger things in a few months time when it's WrestleMania, but I think for now he's going to do a rematch program with Theory because I can't see them immediately doing Theory/Lashley again.

Me neither. I'm not gonna get broken up about the US Title, but he deserves so much better. How they see how over he is every time he steps out there and how he's been delivering for so long now, it's crazy. They better take advantage of it this time. No reason he can't win one of the Titles and feud with Cody or whoever.

Great promo and playing to the crowd tonight by Rollins. When he came out there, he looked and felt like a star above the rest tonight. No question he's more over than anyone else on Raw these days (Men and Women included). Seems like the crowd can't get enough of him for the past year and it just never seems to go down even alittle bit like...ever. It's really impressive at this point. His entrance and segment always seems to wake the crowd up from what it was just watching previous to his entrance, too, and tonight was no different. I really wish WWE would stop playing the fake crowd heel heat as much as they do on Raw and SD these days for certain wrestlers. It was obvious they played it tonight during Theory's promo. Hate when they do that. Anyway, I kinda hope Seth doesn't win the US Title back. Nothing against the mid-card Titles, but he and his overness are way beyond that these days. Here's the video to tonight's segment from WWE's Youtube channel:

I guess it will be Seth vs Theory at the Rumble then, as Lashley was absent from the show. They could have Theory beat Seth at the Rumble and then Seth eliminate Theory from the rumble match later in the night, depending on how long they want to keep this feud going. Neither guy is winning the Rumble anyway. Both the US and IC Title have noticeably been booked better in the last year. The likes of Lashley, Seth and Theory have made the US Title feel more special and Gunther's feud with Sheamus on Smackdown has made the IC Title feel something special again. If WWE has no plans for Seth, the midcard title division is not a bad place to be right now. I'd rather see him there elevating the division with his ability to put on great matches then jobbing to the likes of Cody and Riddle in directionless feuds.

I think it all depends on what they're doing at WM. The odds of Rock working the show seem to very slim. I could see Seth either taking one of the Titles at WM if he's gonna be in a World Title feud since the Title scene is extremely stale right now and Rock isn't coming to shake things up. He could then work a feud with Cody where Cody wins the Title later in the year at say SummerSlam, or something. Also, I don't think he'd be feuding with Riddle. He just did and Seth won the feud.

If Seth is going to be involved in the mid-card Titles, I could see him winning either since he is the by far the biggest name and most over in that Division. Maybe there's a draft and he moves to SD, too. We shall see. As long as he stays as over as he's been (which he will), I see him getting a long title reign in 2023, whether it be a World Title or one of the Mid-Card Titles simply because there is nothing else for someone so over to do.

This is from the WWE House Show last night in Rochester, NY, which is Brodie Lee/Luke Harper's hometown. After Seth's match, he got on the mic did alittle tribute for Brodie in his hometown. Pretty cool:

Just saw this, but Meltzer gave the Rollins/Theory/Lashley Triple Threat at Survivor Series 4.25 stars. I love reading Dave's little reviews of Seth's matches for the past couple of years now. He always makes it a point to point out that "Seth was the star of the match" and how "the crowd went nuts for Rollins" just like he does in this review. I feel like Dave has said those two sentences or some very similar form of those two sentences about Seth's PPV (and RAW) matches for a couples years straight now, and there is no love-loss between Dave and Seth and Dave doesn't do this for other wrestlers in WWE all that much at all, so it's pretty cool to read. In this review, he didn't just say Seth was "the star in-ring performer" for just his match, but that he was "the star in-ring performer " of the ENTIRE show. Here is the review. I'll put the sentences I'm referencing in bold:

"4. Austin Theory won the U.S. title from Seth Rollins in a three-way with Bobby Lashley in 14:50. Great match. Rollins was the star in-ring performer on the show. Theory gained the advantage, hitting both men with the ring steps. Rollins hit a tope on Lashley, a tope on Theory, another one on Lashley and a flip dive on both of them. The crowd went nuts for Rollins. There was a spot where Lashley got the hurtlock on Rollins, but then Theory put Lashley in a choke which forced him to break the hurtlock. Rollins was clearly the crowd favorite over Lashley, who seemed to turn but now is back on the depth charts as a babyface. Rollins missed a Phoenix splash. Theory used a rolling blockbuster and hit the A Town Down on Rollins. Lashley put Theory in the hurtlock. Theory kicked out of it. Rollins splashed Lashley off the top for a near fall. Lashley missed a spear and Rollins jumped off Theory’s back with a curb stomp on Lashley. Theory broke up the pin. Rollins hit a superplex on Theory and went for the falcon arrow. Lashley speared Rollins and Theory fell on him for the pin. ****1/4"

Love that praise!

Another show, another week Seth wakes the crowd up. Happens literally every week now. Enjoyed his promo and back and forth with Lashley tonight. Looking forward to their match next week. Even Sean Ross Sapp can't believe how over Seth is consistently these days:

That Rollins/Theory dueling promo tonight was fantastic. Best segment of the night. It's amazing to think several years ago there were actually people out there who thought Seth would never be a good promo ever, and you look at him now, and he's one of the best consistently these days in the world.

I like how they're doing the thing with Seth calling 'Theory' kid and it getting underneath Theory's skin every week. Theory is a pretty good promo who has the potential to be a very good/great promo in a few years with more experience. I would write Theory to get the better of Seth in some more of these promos because it does seem like Seth kinda always comes out on top (if you can in a promo segment), but they had Theory get his heat back tonight in the main-event with him hitting Seth in the head with the US Title at the end of the night, which was unexpected and good for Theory.

But that dueling promo was one of the best dueling promos in a really long time. Seth just can't be rattled these days whether it be in the ring or the mic.
