RAW is KILLING it recently. Another very good episode.

I see a good number of people complaining that AOP should be Tag Champions right now but I think we need to keep in mind how big this is for Buddy. And at the end of the day I don't think Seth and Buddy will be champions for long.

Seth continues to kill it in his new role. One of my favorite things about last night is him simply giving Buddy a hug after tagging him in. It just gives him the vibe of this evil cult leader. Someone who pretends to love everyone only to hide how evil they really are.

Glad he's finally official for the Rumble. I look forward to him interacting with all the big names in there.

 

Loved Seth's smarminess and shit-eating grin while walking down the aisle tonight with his guys walking by his side. I knew he wasn't going to win since he won last year. And frankly, I didn't want him to win something so important and big so soon. He's found a good spot and character as a new heel. Being tag champ is fine, but to win the Rumble and get a title shot at WM would shoot him into the top of the card again WAY too soon and probably get him the bad kind of heat that you don't want.

I loved his new gear tonight. It looked sick. I'm looking forward to his Road to WM that begins tomorrow.

 

Rollins' role, while short, was great in the Rumble match last night. He comes in, dumps out all of his enemies, but then gets left for dead when KO, Joe, and Black brawl with his crew to the back. The moment of him trying to get Roman to help him, even after he Curb Stomped him 3 minutes earlier, was hilarious.

Seth wins the UpUpDownDown Madden Tournament...AGAIN! What an absolute CHAMP this guy is. It's been a fantastic time in the life of Seth Rollins over the past 2-3 months. So happy for him:

 

I do wonder what Seth's direction is for Mania. Brock's got Drew. Edge has Orton. But I can't tell what guys like Seth, AJ, KO, Joe, Aleister, Andrade, etc. are going to do on the show.

Best guess is that Seth and his crew will be in some big multi man tag team match. KO, Joe, maybe Aleister, I could even see HHH worming his way into this.

 

Very happy Seth didn't win that match last night to face Brock at SSD. Heel vs. heel title match would've been dumb. Also glad Seth didn't take the pin. He's the best character going in WWE today, and as such deserves to be protected 100%. The character fits him like a glove since day one of the heel turn, but you can tell he's getting more and more confident with the character every single week. The way he talks, the facial expressions, even the way he walks backstage and to the ring, all great stuff. Love that he's bring protected at a top level. So pumped to see where he is later this year.

Damn, it's been like 3 months. Hey.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting to come back to this site after the move (it's worst than I imagined) but I still don't think there's really a better place to discuss Wrestling. I've been watching pretty consistently since the beginning of the year, have been very impressed overall with the product actually. It's not the best it's been, but it's certainly better than it was last year. Feel like I've got a decent amount to look forward to. I think that Seth is producing some of his best work since his debut in WWE. I think we all knew in this thread that Seth would kill it as a heel again, but I've been surprised at how well WWE has been handling him so far and letting him do his thing with AoP and Murphy which is an alliance I never expected and it's been awesome.

@Showstopper Good to see you bud. Glad you're still around despite the move, looks like the site changing has pushed a lot of folks away. Seth looks straight up like a villain in those shots, love it.

 

Hey man! Good to see you, too! Yeah, I'm still around, but mostly just post on this (and the HBK thread) for the most part. It's definitely the same unfortunately. I think Seth turning and doing such a great job (along with the booking and really the entire show at the moment) has kept me around because as you said, the Raw (and NXT, IMO) has been really good, shockingly.

As long as Raw and Seth continue to entertain me, I'll still post in this thread. If the product was still what it used to be, I don't know how much I'd be posting tbh. Just glad it's pretty good and been that way for a few months now. Hopefully, they continue in that direction and hopefully Seth continues to kill it.

 

Hey @The Fourth Wall , good to see you around. Yeah this place is kind of a shell of itself which is sad to see. But, it’s still one of the better places for wrestling talk.

There’s also a Discord set up that a lot of the old WF users use. I go there for the live shows like Raw or PPVs. Something to consider.

 

I hope this new gear becomes a thing on television too. Seth and his disciples look so badass here!

I'm still on cloud nine with Seth's new character. He is by far the most compelling character in WWE on Raw, SD, NXT, male or female, full time or part time. And that's not even the fan in me saying this. Even if I wasn't a fan of his, it's hard to lie and say he isn't right now.

Can't say I disagree. I love all of the love and praise Seth has gotten recently. He and Orton have been the two best performers in the business especially character and promo-wise these past few months.
