Small detail, but one of the things I'm loving already more with this direction with Seth is that when he was face, anytime he'd come out at the start of the show to do a promo, he always wore his t-shirt and wrestling tights.

These past two weeks since he turned (or is in the process of turning), he hasn't worn his wrestling gear during his promo segments. Last week he wore a suit and this week he wore a black shirt, pants, and black leather jacket. He (and really any wrestler) looks much better in these promo segments wearing real clothes instead of their gear and t-shirt. I like details like this. So far, so good. It's definitely pumped alot of life into his character, and Raw overall.

I also loved Rollins' backstage interview with Charly Caruso as he was leaving the arena lol. Charly is a fantastic personality to play off of and Seth almost broke out his heel laugh but held it in. When it returns, it's gonna be beautiful lmao.

I really don't want him with AOP. Why does Seth always have to be with people as a heel? Why can't he be on his own???

Still YAY though, I love heel Seth ?

Heel Rollins = best Rollins

Image

My new sig, that looks like shit in this new layout because it can't be centered and is smaller than the real size of the pic. Great job, VS!!! Still, awesome pic nonetheless!!!

Can't do anything about the shitty size, but I've centered it for you mate. No idea why that isn't a standard option.

Edited it into the OP too.

I was going to edit the picture in the OP of this thread with the pic I posted above; but in this new layout you can't edit posts after 24 hours after the post is posted. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

What a fucking lame thing that is. Fuckers.

Seth Rollins officially cemented his full heel turn tonight :mark:

He also cut a really good promo tonight! I loved the part where Rollins honestly points out how he tried to do everything right for the fans, but yet they're the ones who ended up turning on him :trips8

Plus, the self-fulfilling prophecy line was a good one :)

Anyway, don't ever let anyone else try to (angrily) persuade you that Rollins "can't cut a good promo" when he's clearly capable of doing so; which he did tonight :lol

Change in attire incoming too hopefully. No more wearing merch to the ring for a promo, stick to those leather jackets or a suit to give off that mobster vibe even more.

HELL YEAH. I'm glad for the past few weeks now Seth has been wearing his street clothes to the ring for promos and not his gear. I hope they have him keep that up. IMO, the only time any wrestler should wear their gear and their merch t-shirt to the ring is for their actual match. Other than that, for promo, or anything else that isn't a match, every wrestler should wear street clothes.

And in Seth's case as you said, the black leather jacket, suit, and pants give off a much better vibe for his current heel character than a merch t-shirt and gear does during a non-match segment.

And he doesn't have to wear a suit every week. In my sig, when he was in the van and wore the black hoodie, that would be cool to wear during a promo, too, to switch it up from the suits every now and then. He's looked GREAT since the in-ring heel promo after SS. Just keep up this vibe, please.

This is gonna be GREAT:

GOD DAMN, pals. I can't express how happy I am that Vince finally made a good decision for the first time in ages and agreed to turn Seth heel. He's been killing it since and looks GREAT. You can tell it's really reinvigorated Seth and has given Raw more life. Raw is actually better than SD these days. SD thread has 40 posts in it by the time the show ended. :lmao Seth is already the most interesting thing in the company again. So happy he's not just some boring, generic WWE babyface anymore.

Only possible bad part again is after awhile I can see Seth getting cheered again eventually. I hope that doesn't happen for at least a year or two, though. I'm really enjoying the heat he's been getting. GOD, I LOVE THAT THIS HAPPENED.

Same. I didn't watch TLC since Rollins wasn't going to be there. And after reading a bunch of different websites and people talk about TLC last night, I'm glad Seth wasn't a part of that shit-show. What an awful show with some really awful matches and booking.

Glad Seth was able to avoid that mess. :)

Agree with you 10000000000000%!!!!

I (and the rest of us) at this point aren't just happy that they actually turned Seth, but shit, since the turn, and really for the past month now, his character has been KILLING it and is on a fucking roll!!! I honestly haven't been this happy with his booking than in his entire career from a character/personality standpoint.

For all the GEEKS who said he can't cut a good promo, he's done nothing but cut good promos for the past month now. His character now has a swagger that his character has never had before. The new attitude and swagger (and even new look in terms of what he wears to the ring in promo and brawling segments) are all making him come off as a bigger star than he ever has before in his entire career. Like, it just feels like when you see him on screen these days it's almost believable to the point of, "Yeah, that really is Seth right there." Like he's not really playing a character; it just comes off as a real person (his real self). And a real person that has an attitude and swagger where he just doesn't take any shit anymore.

Thus far, this even kills his 2015 heel run. You don't see him running away from his opponent almost every week like in 2015. Before this, I think his best character was when he had the briefcase up to WM 31. Once he won the title at WM 31, Vince completely changed his character and had him running away from his opponent every week, cut 20 min promos every week for no reason at all, had him hide behind J&J security; who were two retired cruiserweights that were much smaller than Seth himself. None of that shit this time. He comes off as a leader in charge of his men (AOP); almost like a mob boss, and it's fucking fantastic.

I am actually shocked that they've allowed him to come off as so much different and actually....cool. Like, this is AE booking in terms of a wrestler's gimmick is the person that they are in real life just with the volume turned all the way up. Like, this IS Seth, just with the volume turned up. Just like that was all those AE guys (Austin, Rock, Foley, HBK at that time). They were allowed to be versions of their real-selves on TV. THIS is how it should be in every era for every wrestler. It's so easy. Just have these guys be who they really are and make it fun. It's not that hard.

But yeah, I am fucking loving Seth right now!!! I always knew he had it in him as a talent to do better as a character and on the mic. They just have to give these guys something logical and not shit booking to work with. This is great!!! It's like a new lease on life for Seth (and his fans, too!) :)

My only slight concern is that fans start cheering him again sometime soon. WWE did an IG poll today asking the fans if they are happy with Seth's new attitude, and fucking 71% voted "Yes", that they like the new Seth. Ugh. I know he's going to get cheered again at some point. But I hope that point is a very long time from now. He shouldn't turn face for YEARS to come.

Great heel promo and work by Seth again tonight. He just feels like such a big deal again, and him standing in between AOP looks so menacing lol. Have him go full Injustice Superman with this, I love it :mark:

I enjoyed the ambush that Seth Rollins and AOP gave to Rey Mysterio last night! It was a smart move to do this too since Mysterio is arguably the most sympathetic babyface on Raw, so it gave all 3 guys plenty of good heat (especially for Rollins) :)

I also love how Rollins trolled Mysterio by just stating that his group only showed up to the arena to bring "Homeboy" back to him, and how he claimed that the AOP is innocent because Mysterio attacked him first "unreasonably" :lol

Rollins cut another good promo last night. I'm enjoying this current heel run from him atm :D
