And kudos to WWE for finally realzing that not every main event match has to be 23 minutes or so. The Rollins match last night was only 13 minutes and 25 seconds. That eliminated at least a few restholds and would be boring spots in a match. I don't know why it took Vince so long to realize that not every main event has to be long as fuck. Sure, in some matches and circumstances, it calls for the match to be that long. But it doesn't have to happen at EVERY PPV. This should've been realized by Vince ions ago, but glad they're finally doing it now. That was the perfect time amount for that match last night. Hopefully, they continue that in the future, too.

A good description of the history between Seth and Brock and how it played it and what it all meant. Have to admit this is written pretty well by the person in these tweets. Saw it on the RollinsFans Twitter account:

Part 2:

Final Part:

Sorry for the multiple posts, but that was a great write-up of the history of the feud.

Regardless of what people have to say about Rollins' booking/character/whatever (I can't say much, because I don't watch RAW), I've always felt he was the best one to beat Lesnar. Their history is just wayyy too weird and unresolved for there to never be a conclusion like this. The number of interactions and matches they had without a proper end was some accidental magic by the booking.

It was always gonna be Rollins.

I actually don't mind having Braun Strowman as a 1st opponent for Seth Rollins :wow

Hopefully, both men will have a fun feud together :)

Was so happy to see Seth get a HUGE pop tonight at the opening of the show. Based on him winning the crowd over last night, I was pretty sure he'd at least get a decent pop. But a small part of me wondered if the fans cheered him last night because maybe they got caught up in the moment of an exciting match. But that concern was put to bed when Seth's music hit, and even before the 'Burn it down' in his theme played, he got a HUGE pop. Then, during the promo he got multiple loud chants ('burn it down' and 'beast-slayer') which was fantastic to see. I don't think a crowd has ever chanted 'beast-slayer' at Seth before tonight. So, it was cool to see that and a new chant happen, especially from a crowd that at first was booing him the previous night and once again tonight, still in the home country of his opponent. I was all smiles ear to ear after seeing that. It's GREAT to see him back on track again. Still big-time over. I really do agree with others who said that was perhaps the performance of his career last night in some ways in how it prevented the crowd from turning into a disaster during that match. Great shit.

A couple days late, but fuck it. Over 40K likes:

Rollins/Lesnar was voted MOTN by the Observer readers in this week's Observer. The Rollins/Lesnar match got 194 votes from the readers, and the second place match Charlotte/Trish got 24 votes. So, Rollins/Lesnar won that in very convincing fashion. Was also given by 4.25 stars by Meltzer, FWIW. The great week continues.

I still can't believe that they let Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar TWICE (with the 2nd win being CLEAN) :sodone

Brock is the same guy who's pretty much been invincible ever since he ended the Undertaker's undefeated streak 5.5 years ago, so this 2nd victory over Brock is HUGE for someone like Rollins!

Has there ever been another wrestler who's been a dual champ three times? Has Seth made history?

People seem to be forgetting about it when he did it in 2015 though haha :lol

Congrats Seth <3 I didn't expect him and Braun to win that, I thought it would end in a DQ or something. How long will it last before Braun turns on Seth though haha.

Also I need a gif of that curbstomp to AJ, that was beautiful.

Seth Rollins becoming a 3-time Duel Champion by winning the Raw Tag titles with Braun Strowman :banderas

Well Seth is Sethy3belts...he’s also UuDD champion. Shit, this year, Becky and Seth might become duel Ultimo Dragon fantasy haha.

But, I really like Braun and Seth’s chemistry. It’s simple storytelling. Braun becomes like Gollum and becomes obsessed with the UC Title, Seth isn’t dumb and knows Braun wants it, but they do,e together to take down a common enemy.

Now, do they have Braun become the new Big Show and he turns heel once again, or do they swerve and have Rollins turn on Braun?

I updated the OP with Seth's tag title win. He is a 5 time Raw tag team champion, and that is a record since the brand split with the tag titles. Can't believe this is the first title Braun has won in his entire career in WWE. So, this is definitely a good thing for him since he's been DEAD since he turned heel in the Reigns feud ions ago. Nice to see them bring him back from the dead. At least he's doing SOMETHING relevant for the first time in ages. Thus far, I am liking this storyline. And this was a second week in a row of a good Raw. Raw even did a good number. only .2 off from the Raw after SS last week, while going up against the NFL.

Seth on fire.

:banderas

I won't be posting a ton going forward like I haven't the last week, due to the wife being pregnant and things having to do with that. Things are going to be picking up for me in the weeks and months to come. But I will still stick my head in from time to time. Gonna try to post one day a week at least like I did now. Hopefully that is possible, but we'll see.

This is Braun's second tag title run lol, he also won with that little kid Nicholas at Mania a few years ago :lol But that's his first title since then surprisingly.

I just hope this storyline doesn't go the predictable way and have Seth be naive and trust Braun too much and when he turns on him, Seth acts like he didn't see it coming :lol Considering that last week, Seth was so wary of even shaking Braun's hand haha.

Yup. They are.

Congrats to both of them. 2 of the best in the world and seemingly great human beings. They deserve good things.

Funny enough, someone in the Becky thread asked if they were engaged when he found out they were taking time off. Someone responded “no, they’re not engaged” and I thought to myself “not yet.” Haha.

What a couple of weeks for Seth Freakin Rollins.

HE can always change his mind but he said in a reddit AMA that the white ranger gear is probably retired for good. Bummer. Such great gear.

Adam Cole wants to Wrestle Seth Rollins

Wouldn't mind seeing this match. Would love to see Seth have a match at a Takeover in the future. The atmosphere would be insane. Good to see Seth get his props. I'm loving 2019.

Sweet Jesus yes please.

Congrats to Seth Rollins on being #1 on the PWI list this year :clap :clap

He's earned it not only for his talent, but also because of the pretty good year he's had too :)
