Man, it'll be satisfying to see Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch retain their titles this Sunday to finally end their feud with the filler challengers :dance

For the record, Becky looks stunning in that outfit :nice

That sequence they did was great. Would like to see them have a proper 1 on 1 at some point.
That sequence pretty much made me want to see a competitive singles match between Seth Rollins and Andrade :mark:

Both guys are among two of the best wrestlers on the main roster too :drose

Seth was all over ESPN tonight:

Absolutely love it. That mainstream attention. Well spoken at these events like always.

And congrats to Reigns for winning the ESPY he was up for. Good night all around.

WWE can fuck off, lol. I'm so disappointed in Seth's title reign ending like that. It's like Mania never even happened tbh. I would literally take another few months of Seth & Becky together in a storyline than Brock being champion and never being there. Seth deserves better. And RIGHT after they let him be badass again with the curbstomps to Corbin too fpalm

I'll be really fucking surprised if they let Seth beat Brock again. I think Mania was the only time that's gonna happen.

Well Seth is off the hook. Good match. Hopefully, he gets away from Becky now, too. I liked how he was doing before that storyline started. He doesn't need her. I'll be around here sporadically for the rest of the summer and check in here and there, but I like that all of the 'responsibility' is on Becky and Brock now. Good luck with that.

From someone who was there:

Philly represent.

BTW, it's pretty funny how one of the toughest cities in the country loves Seth, who supposedly is 'done' or whatever nonsense I've had the entertainment of reading here recently.

Seth Rollins beating the shit out of Baron Corbin with that Singapore cane and steel chair like a badass :banderas

I expected that mixed tag main-event to be underwhelming, so the fact that the match ended up being very good was a pleasant surprise :nice

Oh we're for sure getting Roman/Brock again and probably for the Universal title as well.

I hate to be a pessimist, but Brock isnt going to have a one month reign. Seth had his three months at the top but its probably back to the midcard after Summerslam.

Yeah, the match was surprisingly quite good considering the two near completely talentless pieces of garbage known as Boring Corbin and Lacey Evans were in the match. That's another good thing about this. Back to the lower-card for both of them where they belong. Rollins jumping off the top of the ringpost rather than the top rope was awesome, too.

If Seth is getting a rematch at SS next month this is going one of two ways:

1) Brock winning the title last night was the equivalent of when Ziggler beat Seth for the IC Title last year at this time. He won it just to give Seth a story for the rest of the summer and win the title back at SS like Seth did with Dolph last year at this time and regained the IC Title from him at SS. This could be that, and Seth could win it back at SS.

Or, they could have Brock keep it. I'm honestly torn on which one I prefer. It seems like the Universal Title is cursed for some reason. This title has now existed for 3 full years and every time someone wins this title, no one is able to have a great title run with it (mostly thanks to the old fuck, of course). So, I have to admit, it's kind of appealing to just let Brock hold onto it in the Fall and have Seth have feuds with other people during that time. But if the rematch does happen at SS, I could see scenarios in which Seth does win it back, and lose. It could go either way.

I don't know what to expect tonight from Rollins in this Battle Royal. I mean I'm glad they're not just giving him a rematch but if he loses, I don't really know where he goes.

I mean we'll see what happens when they're on FOX and Heyman and Bischoff are truly in their positions but right now the brands don't really matter.

Im all for it too.

At the end of the day, it was the best decision from a storyline perspective given the context of how Brock got the title.

We're watching a show where the challengers for titles lose clean in the title matches and then get a rematch for the title for no reason at all. Were people thinking that the babyface champion who lost the title to a heel on a cash in, all while the commentary was telling the story that Seth was also kinda messed up emotionally bc of what happened to Becky was just going to disappear from the title picture without having a chance to win the title back? That would just be weird and inconsistent storytelling.

I also get a lot of the criticism surrounding what everyone expects the build to be, but theres also a reason to be excited for this match. Maybe we might actually get a real match between the two. They've had 2 ppv singles matches against each other and both were just glorified angles...not traditional wrestling matches. Maybe now we'll see an actual long(ish) match between the two of the like we saw with Brock v Styles/Bryan/Balor. As far as who wins, Im actually not so sure at this point. I think its most likely Brock wins but I wouldnt be shocked if they ultimately want Brock on SD so they want to give a top babyface a clean win in a real match to make a big star on Raw.

Either way, Im excited for the match. It has the potential to disappoint. But im hopeful right now.
