Rollins/Nakamura is really good on second watch. Enjoyed it. If the plan isn't for Seth and Dean to have a match at WM, then I hope Seth drops the IC Title to Dean at TLC (or the Rumble). Brock comes out on Raw after the Rumble, and Heyman can say Brock has beat everyone WWE has to offer on both Raw and SD and that he has nothing left to prove in WWE. Seth's music hits and they start their program for WM. That's what I would do if the plan isn't for Seth/Dean at WM. It's so easy and basically writes itself.

They're both above the IC Title at this point. I would prefer if Seth dropped it to someone who could benefit more from holding it via a distraction from Dean so Seth remains protected. On the other hand, Seth and Dean could feud over the IC Title and elevate it - but their feud is so personal that I feel they don't need it. In storyline I'm sure Dean couldn't care less about winning the IC Title and only cares about destroying Rollins. I wouldn't trust WWE to book a good feud over the title either, they'll only make it irrelevant.

What is it about Seth that he keeps sort of insinuating that he has more "understanding" why Dean tends to be the way he is, almost as if he wants to go back to come at this from a forgiving perspective? Imo, it's not up to him to ask for explanations. It's up to Dean in this story to provide the explanations.

Thankfully we're coming to a turning point. Now that Dean said what was said about Roman and that "we all got to pay". To my sense, I don't think Seth really has to come at this questioning Dean. There's only one reason that really matters: Dean is being a scumbag and needed his ass handed to him from the very week this started.

I know some people don't like the fact that is going down at TLC. But, if we get the tables, ladders and chairs involved in this match it's going to potentially be a real barnburner. This needs to be a fight between two men, not a plain wrestling match. All 3 ex-Shield guys have a history of putting in the extra work at TLC.

From Meltzer:

The next PPV is the TLC show on 12/16 from San Jose’s SAP Center. Lesnar won’t be on the show, as his next major show is the Royal Rumble, where he’ll defend the title against Braun Strowman as things stand now. While Vince McMahon has been in a shaking up plans mood, Lesnar is right now scheduled to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. I haven’t been directly told Lesnar is beating Strowman again, as that would make his third singles PPV win over Strowman. However, Lesnar vs. Rollins is scheduled to play off Roman Reigns in some fashion, so Reigns’ name and illness are scheduled to continue to be used in storyline going forward.
This is what should've happened at this past year's WM. But better late than never. Vince NEEDS to start making some new guys now. Reigns may or may not be back years from now, and even if he is, there is a decent chance they won't be able to run him as hard as a full-timer gets these days. Even if AJ does get moved to Raw, he's going on 42 and in his current negotiation with WWE is looking for a lighter schedule and just had his long run. Vince definitely has his back against the wall in terms of new stars these days. This upcoming WM is the first/best opportunity to make someone new.

I know we're quite over Lesnar, but I'm down for a Lesnar/Rollins match. They really didn't get a proper go at it last time, what with Undertaker interfering and Seth being such a chickenshit heel. After seeing the work Brock has done with the likes of Punk, Styles and Bryan, I actually have high hopes that he and Seth could produce something good together in a high level match. He works well with smaller guys.

If anybody deserves to face Brock, it's Seth 100%. Hopefully Brock respects Seth and actually brings the motivation he has had in his last two Survivor Series matches, I've actually seen the Brock I used to love. Seth being the guy to beat Brock clean at WrestleMania would be huge for his career, and the crowd would be firmly behind him as well. I'd be hyped for the match.

Gotta say I'm surprised it's not Drew McIntyre getting that big push into Mania. Vince seems pretty high on him at the moment. Wonder if this means Seth is winning the Rumble? I can see him coming in early and lasting until the end. He's been on a roll all year.

Whether it's Seth or Dean, I'm perfectly fine with either of them taking the UV title off of Brock at Mania. It's time. Brock is not the star he use to be and does nothing to build up any championship he wins. I'm not exactly keen on Seth's story into Mania with Brock focusing on Roman. But I'll wait to see if this even happens. Even when Braun was healthy, Vince never pulled the trigger with him. Seth has more than earned his main even spot back and a Mania shot after the year he's had!

Seth/Dean starting in October does make it hard to do a match all the way in the following April. That's 6-7 months after the fact. With Reigns out, and Brock Champ again, it makes sense to have a babyface beat Brock for the title at WM.

By the time WM rolls around, it will have been 2 years and 10 months since Seth was World Champion. It's past time for him to be Champ again. He's waaaay under pushed.

Spot on. The way some talk, it's like Seth has been World Champion the past 2 years straight or something.

When in reality, even with a brand split and there being 2 World Titles, he STILL hasn't been World Champion. And the last time he was World Champin was June 2016, and he lost that title 30 seconds after he won it when he got cashed in on on the same night he won it and hasn't been World Champion since that night.

Like I said in the other thread, he should've won it at WM this year. It's BS that he didn't. He should absolutely be the one to win it at WM coming up. By that time, it will be just 2 months short of a full THREE years since he held a World Title. And if he does win the title that night (WM), I'll be making no apologies for it. Bryan had been gone for 3 years and wins a World Title 7-8 months after returning. I don't want to hear that Seth should wait longer. Bull-fucking-SHIT. And I like Drew, but enough. Not only is he a heel, and Vince ain't having no heel vs heel World Title match at WM, but what the hell has Drew done since coming back?! Some talk like he is red-hot setting the show on fire, or something and has since he's come back when it's far from the truth.

I agree, I think if they wanted to give Braun the title they would have done by now and as much as I like Drew I don't think I want to see him as champ maybe he can have a IC title run.

Seth it like the most logical person to give it to apart from maybe Heel Dean but I really dont want to see another Dean/Brock match. Seth should win the rumble and become No1 contender.

Thing is Seth has actually earned a big push back into the main event scene. You'd think for the first time in 4 years, Vince would actually want a babyface in his main event (or wherever this match lands on the card) that is actually loved? People rooting for Seth to beat Brock. The story writes itself. Don't see how anyone on the Raw side deserves a title shot over Seth. :shrug

I'm prob the only one, but I am not enthused about Brock vs Seth tbh. I'm sick of Brock facing my favourite wrestlers at Mania, I need a break from him :lol

Plus, I don't trust Brock. If lazy Brock shows up to the party, we get a Dean vs Brock level match, and that would be shitty.

I desperately wanted Dean vs Seth blowoff match at Mania, but I guess that's probably not going to happen.

If this whole Brock vs Rollins thing is true than I am really fucking happy for Seth Rollins because he has really worked his ass off to get that spot since his injury in 2015.

I am hoping that when Rollins face Brock at WM, then he would beat The Beast for the Universal Championship since he is at this stage in his career is red white hot. He has been fire this whole year and he truly has deserved a Universal Championship Reign. Plus Seth is just one more title away from being a ultimate grand slam champion since he has already won all of the title on the Raw side plus the WWE Title and US Championship.

#120 ·
Of course Seth won lol, they're not gonna change the IC title before TLC on a match that isn't being televised :D Imagine if they did, I would be SO pissed.
