Yeah, the Rollins/Corbin match yesterday was much better than I was expecting, tbh. I was happy with the match. I think Seth/AJ II will take place at SummerSlam. I'm guessing AJ will be back by then.

Corbin when you break him down has really grown into a fun performer. He's got some great moves from the End of Days, Deep Six, that Ripcord Slam, he's got a great punch, etc. Problem is he's still stuck in that damn vest and he's stuck in this hateable idiot of a character. And when I say "idiot" I mean how dumb he is in the ring at times. If they got rid of that and made him an ass kicker, he could be really good.

Back to Seth, I did like the new outfit. I don't know what they do with this cash in constantly looming over Seth's head. It's hard to see Brock not getting a title at some point, but whether it's Seth or Kofi who knows. Even a rematch against Corbin, while it can be decent, we know it's just going to end with shenanigans.

Seth's attire is action figure worthy(yes I collect some of them)

As for Corbin he has grown in promo work not by a lot but it's evident he's better than before when he was on Smackdown, The main thing outside of his cool signature moves is the ability to actually play an entertaining but proper Heel character on TV, He's naturally unlikable and it works.

So do I, I have a bunch of Seth figures. The last one I got was the fire pants one hahah, cos it's an ugly classic :lmao

So...uhh, Becky and Edge (and Beth ast well) are beefing on twitter...and it’s gotten a bit personal.

Holy shit at Edge’s bio

https://mobile.twitter.com/EdgeRatedR

Seth’s over here minding his own business and damn. Jokes aside. It really looks like Becky is determined to use twitter to get Beth out of retirement but both Beth and Edge keep bringing Seth into it like they’re trying to build to a mixed tag match or something. But Edge like 100% can not wrestle again, right?

I don't even know how those pics hurt him. After that, he got the girlfriend before Becky who isn't in the wrestling business, Sara, who's almost a 10/10. And now Becky. Fans make fun of those pics, but it somehow hasn't hurt him in the female department. Funny how that works, huh?

Ugh, that Becky/Edge/Beth crap is just annoying. I hate that Seth is getting dragged into it. I don't want him and Becky to be in any storylines together, cos romance storylines in wrestling are cringey. I hope that stays on Twitter.

I'm also tired of people still bringing up the dick pic thing, it happened so many years ago now. Get over it people

LOL that you mentioned his poofy hair :lol I've always loved how big his hair gets when it dries haha.

And people moaning about Seth using a chair and low-blowing Brock is mind boggling to me. They want more edge to their faces, and Seth gives it to them and they complain about it :lmao It's so stupid! Not to mention that Brock beat the shit out of Seth last week on Raw, so Seth was just paying him back.

Seth Rollins being edgy and aggressive as hell last night :trips8

I'm enjoying a more confident Rollins, too. Somehow, Raw did OVER 2 million viewers on the night while going up against the NBA Finals last night. I thought for sure they were looking at a sub 2 million number last night. Incredible. I'm not an NBA fan, so I don't care. Good for Raw.

Youre more than entitled to your opinion. But you have to realize that you not buying him as a face is not a good reason to turn him heel...especially when it is patently clear that a majority of the WWE audience (casuals and hardcores alike) clearly do buy him as a face.

I also loved his heel run and would enjoy him being heel again. That turn, however, should only come when his babyface run has run its course or there is an undeniably compelling story reason to turn him heel.

Seth was dope tonight.

The opening segment was good. Quick promo that sounded great bc it was aggressive Seth. This is the Seth that shines on the mic.

Really enjoyed him beating the shit out of random people throughout the night. A storyline throughout Raw? *shocked pikachu face*

Main event was also really good. I enjoyed how they swerved us with the false shenanigans finish then actually delivered a Summerslam worthy main event match on raw.

My one complaint was the brief interaction with Becky before his match. Look...I am not a person that thinks that you shouldn’t bring in realism to the product. Hell...I defended the Seth/Becky ambulance segment bc it made sense in the context that the company acknowledged their relationship and then Seth got nearly beat to hell. That calls for her to make an appearance. But tonight’s interaction was bonkers.

Seth: *walking backstage*
*sees Becky*
Becky: *sees Seth*
Seth: *holds up chair*
“Look I have the chair with which I keep hitting people.”
Becky: “I like that chair. Go hit more people.”
Both: *start walking again*

What romantic couple interacts like that? If you’re gonna acknowledge that they are in a relationship, just have Seth just fuckin grab her and plant one right on the lips like a confident badass that you’ve been presenting him as. If they’re not comfortable with that, then just don’t have them in a weird interaction. The MTV awards recap earlier in the show was more than enough to remind people that they are dating.

I don't even see why we *need* a reminder that Becky and Seth are a couple tbh. It has literally no bearing on either of their storylines and their interactions are so pointless and random.

Loved Seth attacking everybody with the chair though :lol The way he went after Eric Young gave me 2014 Shield flashbacks. This is the Seth I want, with some edge and some badassery.

Well again. Not *all* of them have been pointless. The ambulance segment absolutely made sense in the context that they wanted to sell the brutality of Brock’s beat down. Again. They had already acknowledged the relationship on social media and on television. If Seth was beaten down to the point of needing to depart the arena in an ambulance, it would be weird if his gf who is in the company and on the show was nowhere to be found. That follows logically and if someone has a problem with that one, chances are they’re just being needlessly over critical.

With the other segments (like tonight) that have no logical storyline place, my guess is that the company probably just already has tentative plans on using the relationship more heavily in storylines in the future. So for the time being they are just featuring them to canonize the relationship so it is natural later if they use it in a storyline.

But the thing is that this strategy makes sense if you’re expecting new people to tune in each week. But we know at this point that’s not happening. The people that are watching Raw are the ones that probably watched it the week before. At this point those little interactions are not needed. We get it, they’re dating.
