So what do you guys think of what Mox said about Seth in the podcast? That he told him he should leave WWE as well? Interesting.

I also got really sad when Mox was talking about how he didn't want to tell Seth he was leaving at the Rumble cos he didn't want to ruin his big night and his joy of winning the Rumble :( The friendship between those two is so cute.

Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting to hear that in the podcast. Definitely took me by surprise. He's probably right. He also confirmed to everyone out there (including everyone and anyone on this board who over the past several years who has blamed this on the talent more than Vince) that Vince is the only culprit here.

I wish wrestling was more like real sports in that everyone's contract situation was public knowledge. As soon as a football or baseball player signs a contract with a team, it's immediately reported online and on ESPN how many years that player signed for and exactly how much money they are making. I guess we don't have to know exactly how much each talent is making, but I would like to know WHEN a talent signs a new contract AND just how long they are signed for. That would be great to know for every talent going forward. I don't know why and how it's such a big secret in wrestling but not in real sports. I want to know what Seth's contract situation is. How long is he signed for? That's what I want to know. If he's only signed for one more year, then that is interesting. But if he's signed for like 3 more years or something, then it's unfortunately a non-issue for awhile. But if Seth is signed long term, it can be a good thing for him. He can sit back and see how well AEW is doing by the time his contract is about to expire, and make his decision based on how well each company is doing when his contract is about to expire. But without his contract info, it's hard to know if it's something we should monitor in the immediate future or not.

Another thing is if he did go, he certainly wouldn't be able to use the 'Seth Rollins' name and would probably go back to his 'Tyler Black' name. A couple of years ago Seth was on Jericho's podcast (how ironic) and said that when he was negotiating with Vince, he pleaded with Vince to be able to use his 'Tyler Black' name in WWE, but Vince wouldn't allow it because he wants to own the talent's name so if they ever do leave, they can't use that name that they're known as in WWE.

It is cool that he told Seth he should leave. He knows Seth is handcuffed like literally everyone else on the roster to being their most creative and is looking out for his friend. So, that is very cool and shows how close they are.

I was referring to a writeup that somebody did when I wrote that post lol, cos I hadn't had a chance to listen to it yet :lol I don't know why they'd say that Mox told Seth to leave when he didn't actually say that. My bad, lol.

I remember hearing that at one part too, something like he is a wild animal that has been tamed for too long or something like that..
and he would be absolutely right, and if it's true it all fall on hhh on this one, he does has a tendency to tam down his wrestler. in nxt it's ok because it's pretty good there but in the main roster....
because I do know that Rollins was very confident and would speak out loud when he didnt like something or sometimes straight wouldn't do it.
you can ever hear in his edge/christian podcast when he talks about how he made the Cena vs brock a triple threat and all of that.
he is handcuffed and I am sure he actually left and showed even 1/4 of his real character with creative freedom most of us wouldn't even recognize him.

Moxley was referring to himself when he was talking about the wild animal being released back into the wild. Jericho asked moxley how Roman/Seth reacted when he told them that he was leaving. Seth was apparently bummed that Mox was leaving so Mox basically made the wild animal comments to describe his own situation.

I might have missed something, but I’m about 95% percent sure that Moxley never said that he told Seth that he should leave WWE.

I was actually at that show. Crowd was really hot for Seth. Also a ton of Seth shirts which somewhat surprised me bc Lubbock is a very casual crowd. More Seth shirts than anyone else by far.

If Seth said he's not going to SA and that is why they are taking the title off of him, I'll have a lifetime of respect for Rollins. That'd be awesome. Not like any of WWE's titles mean anything today, anyway.

And yeah, the WWE sections are trash and it's why we don't get any new members on this site. They see the geeks posting and avoid this place like the plague. Can't say I blame them.

Why are you guys thinking he's not going to Saudi? He has a match against Corbin at it lol. I never heard anything saying he wasn't going now unless I missed it.

I think that Meltzer was saying before Raw that the expectation was that Brock was going to cash in and take the title off of Seth last night. He then speculated that a primary reason is that its possible Seth did not want to go to Saudi Arabia.

Obviously, that did not happen. But they did do a pretty extreme beat down angle which ended with Seth being taken away from the arena in an ambulance 4 days before the PPV. I would not be surprised if he still wrestles Corbin friday but that is also a pretty clear way to take him off of the Super Showdown card if they need to. Its not like the WWE has never promoted matches that they had zero intention of having before.

The one reason I do think Seth will be there, however, is that it just seems unlikely that they would not have the Universal Title on the show.

Interesting with the question mark after “Friday.”

But yeah, at this point I expect him to show up. If he really didn’t want to go to [country redacted], they would have just thrown the belt on Brock. Seth being champ probably means he shows up.

I'm gonna need some pics of Seth's new attire, I missed basically his entire entrance cos of my Network freezing and by the time it came back, he was taking off the top half of his gear so I didn't get a proper look at it.

Fun match and that curbstomp on the briefcase was sick. Piss off Brock, not cashing in on Seth today mate.

This is the only pic of the jacket he wore right now and it's not the best angle, but all we have for now, It looked sick when he was walking down to the ring in it and from the normal camera shot unlike this awful shot.
