Wait. What?

I mean...I guess they cant throw their best matchup for him on the first PPV after his win.

If thats the program...at least we know he's winning that one.

Basically as soon as Styles won, judging by the reactions :lol

God forbid they build a feud with these two that stretches over the next few months.

Anybody with at least half a brain can see that this isn't just gonna be a one-off. My guess is that they have their face vs face match, Styles eventually turns heel as he becomes more desperate, and it culminates in a face Rollins vs heel Styles match at SS.

I've got some mixed feelings about this happening. I'm the guy who's said that AJ has to turn or there has to be some kind of twist. Because I've seen typical Face vs. Face feuds recently, and they're usually a detriment to the guys involved.

That's my main worry.

I'm sure they'll pure a lot into this match. But a bad or uninteresting story can drag down any performers.

I'm surprised they're doing it this early, too. The alternative, doing it at SS, would've been most likely with Seth having mediocre/weak opponents in the meantime, though. So, it would've led to a match at SS where Seth had successfully retained against mediocre opponents, though.

I think either Seth wins via fuckery, or AJ wins and turns heel in the process. Part of me isn't going to write-off AJ winning at MITB. They have 3 top babyface Champs right now in Seth, Kofi, and Becky. If they turn AJ heel (against a babyface Seth who is the most over as a babyface as he is right now in his entire career), it's the only hope to get AJ some real heat as a heel. AJ can the be Champion for the rest of the Spring, Summer, and maybe have a rematch at SummerSlam? Or, AJ can carry the title all way to WM, and they can have a Seth/AJ rematch for the title at WM next year.

I'd be okay with that, honestly. It'd be something different and cool and you then have time to buld real heat with AJ maybe even with a stable of his own against a babyface Rollins going into WM. And it could potentially main event Mania. They have some real interesting options here.

If AJ turns during this, it'll remind me a lot of his feud with Roman in 2016. He started off face during that, and turned heel during it.

I know AJ and Seth will have great matches so that means AJ had fantastic chemistry with all 3 Shield guys :)

Seth and Cesaro's reaction to Bray's most recent Raw vignette:

:lol

He said he likes it. I agree, I think it has potential, too, said that on Monday. Looks like Seth and Cesaro are happy to be back on the same brand again probably once again travelling with eachother.

Anyway, probably back to my nap soon since I've been sick as hell all week. Not as sick as I was earlier in the week, but still feeling quite shitty. Later, everyone.

Especially since its rumored that Sheamus may have to retired because of injuries. Cesaro vs Rollins would be a fantastic fresh feud post AJ.

Seth must be so happy to have his travel buddy back. At least he'll have Cesaro and Becky on Raw (if/when they switch her over permanently).

And, I also agree that I think Seth has overtaken AJ in the merch department. I think I see it being:

1. Becky lynch
2. Seth/Roman
3. Seth/Roman
4. AJ
5. Cena

NWA legend, Magnum TA, who for awhile was the number two babyface in the NWA only behind Dusty Rhodes and was one of the Four Horsemen's biggest rivals, says Seth is his favorite wrestler of this generation. Really put him over nicely here:

"My favorite all around guy that’s out there in the product today is Seth Rollins. He can talk for two minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes, whatever it needs and be in character and tell a story and has amazing athleticism and the ability to go out there and go for 10 minutes or 30 minutes or an hour. I think he would have been incredible back in the day. I would have loved to have been able to work with him. I’m saying there’s lots of people that have come over the 30 years that I would have loved to have the opportunity to get in the ring with, but of the current generation, I think he is certainly the cream of the crop, and AJ Styles as well. They’re two kind of different animals. I met Seth and talked to him, and I’m just very impressed with his overall ring skills and work ethic and everything else." Magnum T.A. said.

I mean apart from Bret hart pretty much every single old school legend tells you seth is just picture perfect for the role of top guy. Dedicated , workhorse, can talk , is one of the best wrestler and looks good. Wwe dropped the ball very hard with him last year , he was the hottest on the whole roster around summer with his IC title. That's when wwe should have made a seth vs brock winner takes all at summerslam. That match would have been ABSOLUTE money! If brock wins there is literally no title on raw and seth is literally fighting to save the division. And you have him beat Lesnar in a 30 minutes classic and you are happy with it because you just made a star. But the Roman agenda has hurt seth the most out of all the guys. But I hope now they can give him the ball, he can be the next John cena, they just should give him good rivalries and everything that follows and he'll be ok. He can adapt to any style any kind of guy. Cornette loved him because in ROH he could bring him anywhere and have any Kim of thing , wrestle any kind of guy. And every promoter dreams of that. Seth has a lot of accomplishment but wwe most time didn't mention them because in reality he would have overshadowed Roman, his accomplishment are much more impressive.
I hope they can bring a heel AJ styles and give us the fight we deserve.

Magnum T.A putting over Seth Rollins and AJ Styles like that :banderas

He’s probably excited too about their upcoming match at Money in the Bank :trips8
