I didn’t have Seth losing, I said all along that he’d win :shrug :D

But that dread I felt when Heyman marched out and demanded the match be on first lol. For a moment I had a bad feeling but luckily it was good news not bad :)

I’m kind kind of the opposite. I had a bad feeling the week before Mania. But when I saw Paul strut to the ring and it was clear that the match was opening the show, all of that went away. I knew Seth was going over then. There was just zero chance that they were going to open WM with a Brock win.

Yeah once it was the opener, the chances of Seth winning went way up for me. Because I felt like Brock probably said "I'm not sitting around for five hours just to lose, so lets just do it now and be done with it."

Also it kind of had a symmetry to it with the top three babyfaces that everyone wanted to see win, winning throughout the show. Seth at the beginning, Kofi in the middle, and Becky at the end.

I forgot to mention that Seth Rollins is EASILY my favorite Universal Champion we've had since Kevin Owens :drose

It's been a long 2 years waiting for a worthy (full-time) world champion on Raw.

Let's hope that Rollins ends up having a fun title reign :)

Seth Rollins getting to team up with AJ Styles once again :drose

Both of the guys in my avatar may finally end up having their match (over the world title) soon enough :banderas

For the record, the Curb Stomp that Rollins gave to Bobby Lashley tonight to break up the cover was awesome :mark:

I'll say it again, I really hope AJ turns when he faces Rollins

Because if this is Face vs. Face, I guarantee you, it will disappoint.

And that's not a knock on either guy's talents, but I know how WWE usually does Face vs. Face:

"I respect you, but I want to beat you."

I ALSO respect you, but I ALSO want to beat you.

"Let's team up in random tag matches so we can see if coexist even though we are fighting each other later.

This is how WWE does babyface vs. babyface feuds. They throw them in random tag matches as partners and tease dissension even though they are already opponents. I don't care about them coexisting.

And by the time they get to the match, there is a clear lack of heat and the match is carried by talents of both guys. And we've all seen 2 guys who are super talented fail to have a great match because the story around them was either dull or nonexistent.

So with Rollins finding his niche as a babyface and AJ needing some freshening up, I'd love to see AJ go back to his 2016-2017 dick head heel character to make this work.

Welp, ladies and gents. I can only speak for myself but I am thrilled that Roman and Seth have been split up. Looks like Seth is the guy on Raw. I guess it makes sense that vince would want to put a top star on each show.

I love those on the SD thread acting like Roman on SD is a new Roman. All I know is ive seen this movie before. More of the same.

I now dont think id be too upset if Becky dropped the SD title. That way id have no reason to tune in to SD. Either way...I guess I can just watch her SD segments on YouTube.

I was in the SD thread at the end of the show, and that ending made the majority of this board do a complete 180 on how they feel about Raw and SD. :lol

Raw's roster is almost too good to be true for me:

Rollins
Styles
Andrade
Miz
Aleister Black
Brock
Corbin
Ricochet
(Heel) Sami Zayn
Drew
Braun
Lashley
Joe (it looks like)
Uso's
War Raiders

And that's just off the top of my head. I really thought they were going to beef-up SD much more than they did. But I'm certainly not complaining! Raw's roster is much better than it was after last year's Shakeup; that's for damn sure, and definitely better than SD's male roster right now.

Wow, Seth Rollins is officially the #1 babyface on the red brand as of tonight! Suddenly, I'm actually way more interested to watch Raw now :lol

All of these possible matches that Seth Rollins can have on Raw:

- AJ Styles
- Sami Zayn
- Samoa Joe
- Aleister Black
- Ricochet
- Andrade
- Dolph Ziggler (if he's still with the company)
- Rey Mysterio
- The Miz
- Drew McIntyre
- Usos
- Cedric Alexander
- War Raiders (Viking Experience)
- Revival
- Braun Strowman
- Bobby Roode
- Bobby Lashley
- Lio Rush
- Brock Lesnar
- Baron Corbin

For the first time Seth is truly on his own. He in particular never needed the Shield as a crutch as much as Roman did. The only time going back to the "Shield" really worked out was him and Dean coming together in the Summer of '17. But even that was about their friendship more than the Shield.

A lot of new match up's for Seth. One I think could actually be really cool is Seth vs Bobby Roode. It's never happened before that I can recall. Now that Gable is on SD, they just need to rebuild Bobby as a singles guy and turn him heel. His heel character could play well off of Seth. At the very least, it's something different.

Welp. Looks like we’re not getting this as Andrade is back to SD.

Took me awhile, but I updated Seth's accolades on the first post of this thread and added that he is now a 1 time Universal Champion. I also changed the pic in the OP to a pic of him with the Universal Championship.

Ch-ch-changessss..

:)

If you look at WWE's IG stories right now, a bunch of WWE people were at Seth's wrestling school today training for tonight's show including Aleister Black. I didn't know Seth and Aleister were friends. Can't wait to see the matches they have with eachother one day on Raw in the future. Dash Wilder is also there, too.

:banderas

Also, Bayley's video of Seth's coffee shop in which you can see Dash Wilder in at the start of the video:

Both Revival guys, Bayley, and Sara Logan, and Ruby Riot (not pictured) are all at Seth's school/gym today. Since the house show is just down the road from Seth's school, I'm guessing they'd rather workout at a wrestler owned gym in privacy than a public place.
