Maybe they wanted to try and pacify the crowd by surprising them with a Brock victory because they were sick of Roman. But WWE didn't realize that many people found that whole feud boring and were sick of it, so Brock winning just meant that it was being dragged out even longer.

 

 

The whole point of building heat is supposed to be that it gets a satisfying payoff for the fans in the end. And this year, having the three top faces win at Mania fits that bill. And then they can start building new programs afterwards.

Plus if Vince wants his heat, he could have the heels win some of the other matches on the card.

We'll see soon enough if Vince understands this idea or not.

yep the wwe version of Seth is super vanilla Seth, his moves has been divided by like 3 ( same for most wrestlers ) but for people like rollins or Aj it's even more blatant.
also : am I the only one surprised that the most difficult people actually like Seth? Jim Cornette, the guy absolutely crap on every wrestlers nowadays ( even fucking omega for reason that actually makes sense)

I personally am, but I'm keeping my expectations in check as well. I think Seth is going to lose, but I won't let it ruin my enjoyment. Gone are the days I worry about results too much, it just ends up ruining shows. I hope Seth takes Brock to the limit if he doesn't win at least, and I don't want Brock dominating 80% of the match. Seth is believable enough to have a good back & forth match with Brock. Especially compared to Battleground when they last faced.

 

for me and I am being very serious, the only reason I still watch is rollins. if they don't make him win and give him the ball to be the man or even if he gets some kind of cheap wins like with someone's help I will just drop wwe. I already only watch rollins' segments and don't give a fuck about smackdown or anything else, even nxt which I know is formidable , I gave up on it because what's the point if they will all be wasted in the main roster?
this Wrestlemania might actually be my last wwe show, I am really done with wwe's crap and if seth doesn't pin lesnar clean and win I will drop it. right now NJPW are pushing their new young guy J white and god it's beautiful to see a company not rely on shit like nostalgia act , NJPW guys are actually booked like STARS! and there is also AEW ( which will have a NJPW like style to treat they booking ) so I might watch that. really tired of wwe being the draw! really it's painful, the kid should already be in the category of the Kenny Omega as of now. his big explosion was in 2015 and the fact that he still isn't what he should be makes me sick. guys like Cody Rhodes and omega got their huge push in NJPW not even 3 years ago and they are already sen as top stars to the point they have the guts to make their own damn company and can actually draw like crazy. Seth has cemented his main event statut since the royal rumble 2015! back when omega was a nobody! today omega reached the point he is a huge star, and even guys like stone cold got to be fanboys of his. meanwhile wwe keep dragging Seth back...he should have been champion back in 2018, he should have been the one to beat lesnar at summerslam, it's like wwe got lighting and keep running around it without striking....and now fucking roman and drew are the main act on raw? who gives a fuck? is that why Seth lost last week? There's three match outcomes that will make the fans happy:

• Seth winning the Universal Championship against Brock
• Becky winning the RAW Women's Championship (if she doesn't pin/submit Ronda it will dampen the joy for some)
• Kofi winning the WWE Championship against Bryan

WWE could deliver on all three of these, but by doing that it could take away from one or the other. I imagine WWE probably wants a controversial storyline coming out of WM and a feel good story as well. I predict both Seth and Kofi will win their respective championship matches, and Ronda will retain in the main event to a chorus of boos. That will probably get more mainstream attention than anything else at WM. This way they can hype New Day's celebration on Tuesday, Seth's celebration in Hour 2 or the main event segment, and have fans tune in at the beginning to see what Ronda will do. Maybe an arrogant Ronda issues an open challenge for her title and gets defeated in shocking fashion by a new NXT call up?

 

seth is really not their guy, I feel like the only person that legit support this kid is triple H. they let him in the mid fucking card for the whole 2018 then he get hot to the point f outshining the universal champion lesnar , he is THE most popular and the crowd goes crazy, despite them throwing him in the mid card and then instead of making hm a main venter they kill whatever hype he created by making him roman's sidekick when they brought back the shield.......wtf do they even want him to be a top seller with this booking? what focus have they put on him? he is in a nonexistent rivalry with lesnar and even his royal rumble win got overshadowed by becky's because again no one cares about lesnar or his fights anymore!
and they expect him t sell as much as roman ( a guy they made main event for 4 years!) and cena ( the top guy for 10 years) and becky who they gave a real push to and made into a badass for a certain time? I hope that report is false because that would mean the wwe are a bunch of fools, if they think the lesnar rivalry is what you call " a main event push" then they are fools, he spent most of his road to Wrestlemania putting roman over after he comeback from leukemia, are they'd oing it on purpose? give the kid a SINGLE chance! as of now it is painful to see such a talent literally kill himself in the ring, working his in ring psychology , all of that so wwe bookers can fuck him up?
they really make me want to give up the more wnrestlemnia approach.
Seth needs to do one of his magic shit in his fight with lesnar and shit up a 5 star and make everything else irrelevant on the show, he has got it in him , I hope lesnar will cooperate. they need to tear the house down so he proves to the goons backstage that he is the man.
ps : no becky won't lose because wwe would have killed her then and the women division will go back to the irrelevancy it came from. make them all fucking win and move on, wwe is so worried about everything but their own show , why make all the mania main event into such a pain to the fans? fans don't come to WM pay all this money to go back home angry

 

I don't know how believable those reports are as you always see loads of Rollins shirts at shows, however I must admit that i prefer the black and brave shirts. Oh well we'll just have to see what happens at mania if they are really concerned then brock will win again

Talking about shirts reminds me of when I was watching that Paige Fighting With My Family movie - during the final scene of Paige winning the title from AJ, you could spot people wearing Seth's shirt in the crowd :lol Funny cos it was supposed to be set in 2014 when Seth didn't have his own shirts yet and The Shield were still together haha. Totally gave away when they actually filmed it, lol.

And Seth sells loads of merch, last year when I went to the Raw after Mania - my Mum and I made a game when we were waiting in line to get inside of how many Seth shirts we could spot. I swear every second person seemed to be wearing one of his shirts, myself included.

 

I can buy it, Becky has never NOT been over on the MR despite years of crap booking. So when she finally gets the push that many feel like she deserves, and merch to boot, yeah I can buy her selling a lot. It doesn't mean that Seth is bad or not over, he isn't and he isn't, just that WWE stumbled upon a gold mine with Becky.

Also Becky and Seth are close friends (and possibly BF/GF maybe), so I doubt that they begrudge each other success.

 

at this point I just want them to give the clean victory to Seth. it will bee for the first time in years they would have actually done something right! seriously the card should have been becky vs ronda and Seth vs brock with the wwe guys winning.
i am also hoping that Daniel Cormier shit isn't happening, wwe needs to understand that it will just make their talents look stupid and Not bring them any viewers. this tendency of playing whores to get mainstream attention is only because they have no stars anymore. I mean they seem more worried about "mainstream attention" than putting on an actual show! these guys hate wrestling I am convinced...

 

I doubt that Brock would mind putting over Seth (he seems to like working with smaller guys). We'll see if WWE feels the same way.

the build for the rivalry has been poor, it's not the main event, everything that happened last week it seems like it's irrelevant looking at today's Monday night raw preview but it's all about " WHAT WILL DREW AND ROMAN DO?" meanwhile a damn world championship is on the line. I can't wait for it to happen so they can actually make him lose and go with roman at summerslam. seriously,, we shouldn't even be worrying, that's not what wrestling is for. it's for enjoyment , not worrying about what bullshitt wwe is gonna do, when Seth lose I will actually call it a day with wwe and move to other products like new Japan. I guess there you don't even have to be so depressed , annoyed , frustrated about wrestling ( which is supposed to entertain you). Vince can continue to build heat without any payoff ( except the only one no one wants to see) , and he can continue to fight with his fans for the next 10 years in the main event. in new Japan when fans aren't too happy about the main event they actually do a fucking vote to determine if they should go wit it......
I guess there is two weeks to wait before mania, but at this point all of my hopes are down and I actually don't even care anymore.....

 

If they want to get Reigns booed already, putting him over Brock would be a good way to do it. He already got booed when they teased him being in the WM match with Brock and Seth.

I don't know why people ignore the booking of the feud, the t-shirt, and the betting odds all of which indicate Seth will win.

 

Is seth actually on the show tonight as there is no mention of him in the preview, I mean unlike Drew and Roman it's not like he has an important match to promote or anything.

 

They take turns promoting shit these days for some reason. Last week it was Rollins/Brock, this week it's the other stuff. Although, it probably would help if both participants were there every week.

wwe have roman on ESPN with Charlotte , ronda and becky. they are making a huge mistake , they are going to push him the same way again. guys let's pray rollins win why you ask me?
rollins winning against lesnar in his very first opportunity! to have a fair one on one on lesnar making look like a man that back his words and the savior that brought back the title. it's better than being pushed on all those ESPN shit, rollins => makes no noise , entertain , is loved , actually back up his words by beating lesnar, meanwhile roman would have lost 4 times on mania, not backing his words and actually being seen as this "company favorite" , if Seth wins he will be the most over motherfucker on the roster even more than he was before, wwe won't be able to burry him because beating lesnar at mania is the most important. finger crossed!

Another good Rollins promo and more good chemistry with Heyman. That segment took what was mostly a comatose crowd the previous 2 hours and woke them the fuck up, even before Heyman came out. Seth is a good speaker, he just needs better material. Anyway, he and Heyman always have good dueling promos. I'm again even more convinced that Seth is winning, but one thing did change for me. I actually kind of want Seth to lose. I watched Raw tonight and really gave it a chance. And man, between the 35,000 commercial breaks, that was mostly an awful show. I in no way want Seth to be the face of this product that just so happens to be the lowest rated show in the history of the company AND the worst era ever in terms of creative, as well. Fuck that shit. Let Brock be the face of all of that. I don't want Rollins to be the face of that. However, after seeing that segment, I am once again convinced Seth is going to win, but now, with how bad the show is, I don't think I really want him to, through no fault of his own. I mean, they even shitted up the women's storyline. All on Vince.

 

I hated the promo. Seth is a badass, not an asskisser who's all about the fucking "wwe universe". Hated that. It almost makes me want to not watch the WM match.
