I'll preface this by saying I'm not a fan of the idea in the sense that it takes away Seth's moment. Nevertheless it crossed my mind as something not out of the realm of possibility.

It mostly goes back to Seth guaranteeing he will walk out of WM as UC going so far as to say he would sell his soul to the devil if that is what it took. With that being said, what are the odds we get could get interference from Daniel Cormier and he costs Brock the title? IDK if this would turn Seth heel or if he could get away with saying he isn't proud of what he did but it was necessary. Certainly wouldn't be a traditional babyface.

1) WWE gets to continue to protect Brock while also getting the UC on RAW every week.
2) It sets up DC vs. Brock in UFC
3) It introduces DC to WWE fans. DC is rumored to be interested in a WWE announcing gig after he retires which could very well be after the Brock fight.

Wrestlemania is 8 hours. my brother keeps telling me they will make the Rollins/lesnar go one hour, and Rollins was clear to wrestle from the get to go but they preserved him because they wanted to do this huge non sensically epic match. well.........I don't know it's possible to handle one damn hour of fight lol

Segment was the best part of RAW IMO. I thought the rest of the show was complete dogshit I'll be honest. Glad I only watch highlights now. It always makes me laugh when people say Seth has no charisma, not knowing what it actually means to be charismatic. Seth has the crowd in the palm of his hands and they are itching to see Brock drop the title. He's going to get a huge reaction at WrestleMania, just watch. Even louder if he wins. I really can't think of a better person on RAW to take the title off Brock, I really hope they take the chance whilst they've got it. I'd actually start watching RAW again more regularly. It would be a huge rub for Seth. I really hope Brock brings his A-Game. He can be so good when he isn't just phoning it in.

wwe managed to make both drew and Rollins look bad. that victory clearly makes drew seem cheap because he was getting beaten, and Rollins took the pin and didn't looked that dominant in the match. what a stupid booking! I have never seen that, how can you start the show with Lesnar running away from him and finish it with that flat uninspired ending?!
the positive ? anyone that says Seth isn't over at this point is a fool. even during the boring rest hold they were rooting for him to kick drew's ass, also love how Rollins can actually wake up the crowd in such a natural way. those suicide dive really woke up the fans, and the second positive is that they are actually making it look like brock is actually concerned with him, with the others he would always just stand there but here he actually comes to distract him etc etc. but wwe booked Rollins in a badass way in the opening segment and ended the show with babyface 101
I swear even Austin wouldn't get over in this era

The story they are going with for Rollins/Lesnar doesn't really needs for Rollins to be presented as "dominant" in matches in order for him to be a threat to Lesnar. Rather, it is the type of wrestler he is (in terms of size, move set, etc) that is the threat. This is what they have pointed out a couple of times in saying that it seems that Lesnar struggles to beat opponents like him (Balor, Styles, Bryan).

Well I haven't posted on here in some time, hello everyone. Catching up on things that have happened and it's nice to see Rollins is still getting loud reactions from the crowds. The "Burn It Down" chants are getting louder every week. Saw it was posted that Vince wasn't happy with Seth's reactions? Don't see how he could be disappointed. The crowds have been great for Seth since the Rumble. So not sure where that came from lol.

If the crowd is anything to go by, I think everyone is ready to see Brock lose. And I really hope people aren't starting to lose faith already in Seth possibly winning at Mania. We saw last year that Seth winning or losing matches on the RTWM didn't stop him from winning a title at Mania. A questionable booking decision on Raw isn't going to give me too many doubts right now.

^^^

No thanks, title needs to be on Raw. Roman should have won it on last Mania but they extended the Lesnar reign for no good reason. Just end it.

Anyway, the McIntyre victory makes me more optimistic about Seth's chances at Mania. Surely, this is to set up a Rollins/McIntyre title feud after Seth becomes champ. Right? Although Idk what Roman will be doing post Mania.

I liked the opening segment last night. You made 2 stories work. Rollins would obviously come out to stand up for his brothers and attack Drew with some wicked chair shots. And at the same time he would confront Lesnar.

The Rollins vs. McIntyre match was their usual really good match. I'd say if Seth wins at Mania (and that's still a big if) Drew would be a good challenger but they've wrestled so many times now in non title matches I'm not sure honestly.

Of course the finish was your usual "stupid babyface syndrome" kicking. I mean if you're going to have Brock come out, at least have him run to ring side. Seth watching Brock standing on the stage makes him look stupid. Seth preparing for the big Gorilla running down the stage at least makes him look competent.

Seth Rollins really looked bad ass last night when he attacked Drew with the chair many times as in revenge for what Drew did to Dean Ambrose last week and Roman Reigns.

But what it was very unacceptable to have Seth Rollins lose last night due to a distraction to Drew last night. This is your number one contender and he is going after Brock in a few weeks and you have him lose due to being stupid. Booked him as being stupid. That is not what Seth Rollins character was about for these past 4 years full. He was the guy that was the smartest person in the Shield and in Authority. Now you dimmed him to be a dumb guy that got distracted and completely forgot that Drew was in the ring due to Brock's music. This is how you book him as a legit threat to Lesnar. Last night's booker who booked this finish to the match should be terminated.

The match was fine but the ending sucked. It did no favors for Seth.

how are people so convinced Seth is gonna lose? is it just blinded hate or people are just stupid and don't know how wwe works?
brock coming to distract Rollins is a proof for me he is going over but hey haters gotta hate?
also let's stop blowing this out of proportions guys , I was annoyed at first too and realized wwe makes no damn sense. but yes that was dumb : beginning of the show : bad ass Rollins who taunt Lesnar, end of the show mehhhh but hey wwe are stupid. and it won't hurt him because Seth has something most these guys don't he can fire up the place in few seconds. did you see how he woke up that crowd last night with his three dives? it's like people were so bored of drew and when Seth started hitting it people were going crazy.kayfabe is dead so no matter how bad you book Seth people knows he is better in the ring than drew and instead of making drew look dominant it makes him look boring and incompetent. my bro was noticing how last night the crowd was giving a shit only about when Seth did anything in the match and drew was looking bad. as for the whole he shouldn't be losing on the road to wmania? yes I agree but this is wwe people dumb is their last name. soooo
and if anything was ever gonna go through Vince's head, last night Chicago proved him Seth is the man wether he likes it or not. all those fans were there and the only signs I saw in the crowd were Seth's ones , they cheered by his mere name being mentioned. that was absolutely crazy, when crowds like Chicago and Philadelphia loves you then you are one hell of a guy because it takes more than being good in the ring to be a Chicago favorite. did Seth looked ridiculous in that last segment ? yes! but the only thing you can remember is he was badass kicked drew's ass in a fire opening segment and brock ran away from him and put him over. yes brock putting him over is a big deal , he didn't do it for reigns or Ambrose he just didn't give a shit.
also you could see brock was happy about being booed and Rollins being over , why? because brock is an old school guy and old school guys always love when the limit between the heel and the face is clear. yes I guess brock prefers working with a real babyface who is extra over rather than another roman program that makes him look bad.
at the end of the day, that was bad booking but it's not THAT bad, people are blowing it out of proportions a lil bit too much to push their own narrative of Seth losing because their favs got shit on by Lesnar.

From: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

WON: Seth and Becky travelling together to house shows where he is not working.
"It was noted to us that Rollins was at the Peoria show and came with Lynch. Rollins wasn’t working the weekend and Peoria is about 100 miles from where he lives."

I'm not absolutely convinced Seth is going to lose. I just have hard time believing WWE will give us 3 happy endings in one night.

Ronda's leaving so there's a good chance Becky wins. Kofi seems like he has a good chance after Smackdown this week.

With Seth, I mean he's facing Brock. How many times have we been down this road before with Brock? I hope I'm wrong, but history isn't on the side of Seth.

They book "HEAT" all year long that if there is one time per year where WWE gives people their happy ending, it is this show.

I feel like the people who do think Brock will retain feel that way because he beat Reigns at WM last year. That's not the norm at WM, that was the outlier. If anything, I think that's all the more reason why Seth can win. They going to do the same thing at WM with that title two years in a row?

With the state of the product, the shows, and the ratings for both shows these days, I can see them just going in a different direction in terms of Champions post-WM. There is no doubt that they NEED to do something new, *especially* with the Universal Title. Now, we're *another* year into it with a part-time Universal Champion. They need to get that title on Raw again every week pronto. It's beyond ridiculous at this point, much worse than it was even a year ago at this time re: this title. Plus, they got the reactions they wanted at Raw this week with it being the best the crowd was all night, with Lesnar getting serious heat and the fans being all the way behind Seth. Now is the time. We shall see.

I almost feel like Seth, Kofi, and Becky winning titles will kind of be like that pic from the past with Punk, Bryan, Cody, Ryder, Kofi all holding the titles back in 2011 or 2012? I get the same vibe with these three at WM..

Here's the pic:
