^ just coming to post the same thing. I assumed that he was going to ok for WM since they are still promoting the match and now that seth has said so it's all good.

As much as RAW will suck he doesn't need to be wrestling every week it's not like brock is going to be there to help further the story. I would like some more segments between Seth and HHH

I know I'm late to the party, real life stuff.

But I'm overjoyed Seth won the Rumble. Let's fucking go! I loved how visibly excited Seth was as well. You could see the childhood wrestling fan in himself marking out:

Finally he gets his moment, and he hopefully/he SHOULD beat Brock at WrestleMania. I was scared hearing he was injured, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise that he can keep himself healthy until WrestleMania this way. Imagine if this happened in March instead. That would have sucked.

Yeah, I'm not mad Seth wasn't on Raw last night. Wasn't that good of a show and was a clear step down from last week's Raw which was good.

At least we have ups and downs, though now. All of last year it was nothing but 'downs' in terms of the quality of Raw. There were no ups and downs last year. Just downs.

I'm glad I missed Raw this week, cos Seth wasn't on so I didn't miss him. I only watched Dean's segment and that was it :lol

I do think Seth will win at 'Mania (though I'm not 100% on that), but I'm kinda worried we'll get a screwy finish ad Seth won't end up with the rub. I'm sure the temptation is there to involve Roman somehow (assuming he's up to it), so I have this awful feeling that Reigns will be involved somehow as a distraction, ensuring that Rollins does get the win and the title, but doesn't end up with the Lesnar rub.

#572 ·
That is, not at all, an unreasonable concern. I would not be surprised one bit if Reigns gets involved.

Seth really has no options on Raw anyways so him not being there isn't really a bad thing. I'd still film some vignettes with him or something.

As far as Mania goes, I'll just say, you can't bet against Brock. The guy's lost clean like once in the last 5 year and the was to Goldberg of all people. Even Taker or Roman couldn't get a clean win on the guy. And even at Crown Jewel when everyone thought it would be Braun's time, nope.

I too have this image in my head of Rollins hitting the Curb Stomp to slay the Beast and take his title, swinging it over his head in victory. But, I'm not going to get my hopes up too much as of yet. Because again, it's Brock.

Yeah, I saw that, too. I'm still not 100% convicned that he even has a minor injury. A part of me thinks they are giving him a rest because they have big plans for him at WM and thereafter. They might have also learned from last time when he feuded with Triple H. Triple H turned on him and then disappeared from television for months leaving Seth to just float around the roster until WM time when HHH came back on TV. I think they know since his match for WM is set, there really isn't much for him to do at EC or to feud with. It's smart to not make the same mistake twice. They also know Brock isn't going to be on TV until March, so they probably want to do the same with Seth until the true build to WM starts in March which is when Brock will start to make his appearances, as well. So, I'm not sold that he's hurt. But if he is, it's obviously very, very minor since they're still advertising the match on Raw this past week. But I really wouldn't be surprised if they just don't want him to 'feud' with someone from now to March and possibly lose momentum. This is the smarter route, tbh. And give him some time to rest up since he's been non-stop go more than anyone else on the Raw brand on house shows, Raw, and PPVs since early 2017 without any breaks. If they have big plans for him after WM, it's smart to give that person a month's rest if they've already been constantly on the go for the past 2 years straight.

If they're keeping Seth off Raw in order to keep him rested and not burn the audience out on him with some pointless filler feud before 'Mania, I'm all for that. I look at what they're doing with Becky and this stupid injury angle and it makes me cringe. I have this horrible feeling that they're gonna fuck up what should be a straightforward feud by adding this injury angle and Stephanie to the mix.

If Rollins can avoid shit like that, all the better, even if it does make Raw less interesting in the interim.

#571 ·
Oh yeah I'm definitely happy that he's not having a pointless feud and as much as I love him I hope that he doesn't come out every week to cut promos every week I'm looking forward to a face off with Hayman at some point.

My main concern about mania is that they only allow either a Becky or a seth win not both and I think if it came down to it more people would want Becky to win especially if that's the main event.

My ideal scenario is seth wins, Becky wins next night on RAW they come out together to celebrate or one then the other and it leads to a fun mixed tag match. They can call themselves the Mans :grin2:

Good, little video of Seth looking back at his past. It's weird how the tweet asks if he'll bring back the blonde streak in his hair, and even though he does talk about it in the video, he doesn't actually answer the question. We all know most likely not because it did damage to his hair, but asking the question in the tweet only for him to not answer it in the video is :lol Anyway, good, little video. Definitely worth a watch.

Seth Rollins is going to be on a podcast with 2 GOATs in Edge and Christian :mark: :mark:

Just listened to the Rollins podcast with Edge and Christian and man it was really good. Some good stories that I never knew about Seth's career before. The last 30-40 mins of the interview in particular was great. The interview itself is 90 mins and I think they said it's the longest they've ever interviewed anyone on there show. They also said it is their most requested person to interview along with Balor. So, that's pretty cool, too. It's basically his entire life story in 90 mins. The story on how he signed with WWE in particular was excellent and kinda crazy. With that story, it is now obvious why Terry Taylor did not like Seth when Seth was in FCW. He held a grudge because Seth renegged on his verbal commitment to sign with TNA, and Terry was the guy who was negotiating with Seth on behalf of TNA. So, there is the story on that.

Never knew that story with the Kofi match on SD before. Vince is such a prick. :lol

Also never knew that Seth himself pitched to WWE for him to cash in at WM 31. I don't think Seth has ever said that publicly before, but wow. Also loved how Seth once again said that Shawn was his favorite while growing up, too. :) This is a great interview. Highly recommended for any fan.

Good guy Seth:

Anyone see the WWE Financial report for last quarter? It's pretty obvious no FOTC is necessary. Which is a good thing, because now the title doesn't have to be occupied by 1 or 2 people for years on end which drove so many people away. Great news.

Also, the Rollins interview with Edge and Christian yesterday, the parts where he talked about Dean were cool. Always liked them together.
