Never thought I'd be saying this, but PHOENIX has made it onto my list of favorite crowds after anointing us all with those fantastic 'take his belt' and 'slay the beast' chants.

:banderas

Thank you, PHOENIX.

So I was just thinking about this, but what the hell is Seth going to do until Mania?

I figured they would keep the Dean feud alive long enough to do another match on PPV to end it. But Dean's leaving and they ended it on Raw. I figured maybe he could face some big guys to prepare him for Lesnar. Braun's a face, and he's dealing with Corbin and Drew. Lashley seemed like the likely option, but he's feuding with Finn now. Owens and Zayn are still out and probably won't be back in the very near future. Ziggler doesn't make sense. Wyatt is MIA.

And the only other guys I can think are new guys like EC3 or Lars, but I don't see that either. But I can't picture that either. So what, is he gonna work with Apollo or Jinder Mahal? Because he doesn't have a lot of options.

I think he'll have another match with Lashley at EC. They still have some unfinished business after Bobby put him through a table during the Rumble. Given that Bobby is also a former MMA guy, this gives Seth some credibility heading into Mania.

Finn and Lashley could be the IC title program for Mania. So you gotta keep that building as well. At best they do a tag match with Seth and Finn vs Lashley and Rush.

I’m not sure that Lio is established enough on the main roster to be in that match. It would look like a total mismatch with Finn and Seth on the other side. Lashley and EC3 on the other hand? He’d be instantly credible.

I'd be surprised if he got a new logo already, hasn't he only had that S F'N R one for less than two months? :lol I only bought that shirt at the start of January hahah.

I dont actually think that the SFNR with the X is necessarily his new logo per se, but more of a new design. If you have the shirt, you see that the old stylized SR logo that he's had since going solo (but with the cross hairs) is still featured on the back of the shirt.

Yeah, that is a good point. He just got that other new logo last month, or maybe the month before that at most (December). Either way, I like it, though. Gonna get it soon, for sure.

I need to leave my thoughts on the recent success of Rollins. Roman's departure, as sad as it was, served as a blessing in disguise for Rollins to claim his spot as the top babyface in the company. While the feud with Ambrose was dreadful, his transition back into a main event talent over the past month has been excellent. They've put him over McIntyre clean, who is being groomed as Raw's top heel. Then he eliminates Strowman definitively from the Rumble, which to me looks like Strowman passing the lead babyface role over to Rollins because he went on to endorse Seth the next night.

While I am always skeptical of the interactions between Seth and HHH, it worked in this case, as Hunter clearly adores Seth and did his best to put him over at the start of Raw. So I mostly enjoyed that. However, I am wondering what the consensus was on here with Seth and the 6 F5's? I haven't had time to read the earlier pages in this thread, but I felt the idea behind it was excellent. You have a guy take multiple finishers and then still have enough courage to challenge the champion and ask for more. That is what creates a badass, and a top star, especially when you have a smaller guy like Seth doing it, compared to Roman.

Overall, I've enjoyed the new direction for Seth, and I'll be tuning in attentively on the road to Wrestlemania! :mark

I said it a few pages back re: Raw, but I liked what they did this week on Raw. It was Brock and Seth's first interaction and it laid down the groundwork that Seth has an uphill battle ahead of him against an opponent like Brock (kayfabe wise). I thought it was done well.

Smart move taking Seth off of house shows this weekend. House Shows aren't important right now. It's all about WM. Hopefully, he stays off of house shows from now until WM. Let someone else carry them for once.

Seth is listed in this week's Raw preview. So, him not being on the house shows over the weekend was likely just a last minute change. Maybe they just wanted to get other guys some ring time.

I just thought of this, but maybe they're having Seth sell the 6 F-5's he took on Raw? That's probably what it is. It's not like he only took one, or something.

Update on Seth from Postwrestling.com

"Seth Rollins is the most notable and he is said to be dealing with an issue that predated the angle with Brock Lesnar last Monday. He is off live events for the time being and not expected to be used on Raw this Monday to recover. We were told that he will only be doing promos with no physicality for the next month on television."

Looks like theyre gonna be very careful with him. They really need him right now, im glad it doesnt sound too serious.

I think it'll be a good thing he's not wrestling, cos it'll keep him fresh and healthy for Mania, which is the important thing. Sucks for the fans who wanted to see him, but he's one of the big stars of Mania.

I'm glad he'll still be on TV though. Minus this week of course, but I'm skipping Raw this week (I'll just watch what Dean does if anything) so I don't care that much :lol

The fact he's still gonna be on TV means whatever it is, it's not serious. When it's serious, they send the superstar home entirely.

I think the most frustrating thing when "reports" come out about Seth dealing with some kind of injury, doesn't have to mean severe, everyone just goes into full meltdown mode (I'm looking at you Twitter). Like can we just relax for a second? It doesn't sound serious for one. And two, Mania is still 2 months away. He has plenty of time time to be 100%. Unless I hear Seth is down in Birmingham...then everything is okay.

They're gonna be announcing the Axxess VIPs for Mania very soon, I'm crossing my fingers that Seth is at a good time so I can go meet him again :D I need to get a hug and a fistbump in the photo!!

I'm tempted to go buy another beanie like the one I got for Dean and give one to Seth as well, haha.

EDIT: Got my Axxess email, and Seth's at a time that nothing clashes with woohoo! I think I'm gonna go for him again.

Okay, they just had Cole reiterate that the Universal Title match at WM is Seth/Brock. They even showed the graphic for it. He must be fine and probably just needs a break. Good way to not have him get stale on TV with Brock not there, either.

Nice graphic, tbh. Straight from the WM Twitter account.
