Last time Seth was Champion (for longer than 30 secs which he was in 2016) in 2015, I let the threads get to me. Not this time. I'm happy as fuck this time and it's carrying me all the way through to WM. As others have pointed out, there are other forums out there that aren't anywhere near as toxic or angry/depressing. I am sooooooo fucking happy!!!!

Just remember everyone...

100%, this forum is just very negative.

I'm happy and pumped for Mania season with Rollins/Becky winning the Rumbles and Daniel going in as champion :mark

Plenty of cool thing happening right now.

Plus, Seth hasn't been Champ since 2016, which lasted all of 30 secs. Since then, multiple other favorites on here have had title runs and for the most part I (and really all Seth fans here) haven't bitched and moaned about it like some could've. It's been 3 fucking years since Seth has a top of the card type kayfabe accomplishment. I mean, Jesus Christ, I get that some don't like Seth and every wrestler has their non-fans, that's completely cool. But since it's been 3 years for Seth, is it okay if he gets a top kayfabe accomplishment for the first time in 3 years? Even Bryan who was gone for 3 years, came back and won one of the 2 World Titles quicker than Seth has since the last time he won it in 2016. Is it okay if we have a moment? Fuck.

Anyone else fuming from Dean, Joe, Nakamura and Ali's eliminations?

Seth should have looked a lot better than this, having him taken out was weak. Could have easily started with him early or kept him in the match in the middle. God forbid someone other than Roman look great before facing Brock...

The result and finish was good, but booking wise the match was a mess. The wrestling itself was really good.

Seth Rollins winning the royal rumble match :WOO :WOO

The guy entered #10, and lasted like a half-hour too :banderas

We got to see him compete with the likes of Johnny Gargano, Mustafa Ali, Andrade, Dolph Ziggler, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Dean Ambrose, Pete Dunne, Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, and Shinsuke Nakamura too :sodone

Yep, this year's rumble match for the men will always have a soft spot in my heart :proud

@Showstopper

I think you need to update accolades list to include 2019 ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER :rollins

edit: I've completely forgotten how to tag lol.

Christ, I've got to work my graveyard shift tonight. I was gonna try to get a bit of sleep in before my shift, but I'm just way too goddamn stoked right now! Haven't marked like that in a long time. After 2 and a half years, it's finally time for our boy to get to the top of the ladder again!

DONE! Put it right at the top of his WWE accomplishments.

He said "Holy shit" right after he won:

Well, I am mad about Dean's elimination. I wish Seth had been the one to eliminate him tbh :lol That would have actually made me a bit happier LOL. I also hoped we could have gotten a short moment where they teamed up Shield style but Dean wasn't even in long enough to do it.

I'm torn cos I'm sooooo happy for Seth but I'm sad for Dean's lack of direction. It's difficult having two faves that are booked so differently.

Ooooh I might have to go for Seth at Axxess at Mania and meet the future champ again :D

Don't know how you guys feels about Gargano, but just indulge me a moment and let me post this here. Wasn't sure if I'd ever get to see Seth and Johnny have an exchange in WWE, but it happened:

Without even looking I can probably guess what the thread is about and who is posting in it but I can't really bring myself to care. Seth won and he is going on to beat Brock at mania and I can't wait oh yes!! This place is going to be fun for a while haha

I wish he would have eliminated Dean as pay back for taking his title but oh well we can't have everything

I know the Lesnar match is what everyone's been predicting and what they've been building to, but after last night I would really like to see the story of Finn Balor earning another shot at Mania, but this time as The Demon.

And for Seth, he could choose to fight Bryan which would completely change things up for him. Just something to consider.

Whatculture is amusing. The limey bastards were all so hyped on the idea of Finn winning that they're trying to crap on Rollins, but not really coming up with any way to do it properly :lol

But enough about actual feel-good tales - what about the one WWE will now have to try and present between now and WrestleMania. Don't buy the false narrative that Rollins isn't a worthy winner, but do consider in between bouts of fawning adoration exactly what he's done over the past several months to earn such acclaim. If the answer is "wrestling long matches on Monday Night Raw", then perhaps the art of the push is dead - real stars do the most with the least and work from there, rather than failing upwards thanks to incredible marathon displays.
They can't even give him any credit by saying "good matches", which is what most people would say. It's "long matches". Also, the idiot writer assumes there's only one way to get over, all because a guy he doesn't care for is over and won the rumble.

The salt is palpable.

Alright guys, here's an idea. Book the match with Lesnar at 'Mania. Back last week I put the whole thing together in my mind the way I wanted to see it happen. I'll share it when I have a bit more time to get my thoughts down, but how do you guys want to see the match booked? How do you want to see it end? How do you want to see the rivalry go?

I had this idea where, each week leading up to 'Mania, Seth would go after Brock. Just straight up attack him headfirst every week. He'd be doing this to test Lesnar. To figure out his strengths, weaknesses, and how he can counter him. The first week Seth just gets his ass kicked. The next week he's able to counter Lesnar and get a bit more offense in before ultimately succumbing to Lesnar. This keeps up for about 4 weeks or so, until finally, on the Raw before 'Mania, Seth has actually learned enough to battle Lesnar to a standstill.

Thoughts?

I don't get the whole Seth should face Bryan, Brock is the bigger star it would do more for Seth beating him. I know balor put on a good match but that doesn't mean that Seth won't, the match at the royal rumble with them and cena was really good and he held his own but apparently he's not believable against him now.

They also have unfinished business from WM31 were Seth pretty much stole the title they could easily go back to that. He deserves to have his big Brock match like Bryan, AJ and balor have

It's a narrative being pushed by haters who try to disguise themselves as people who want to appreciate "the greatness that a Rollins/Aj/Bryan triple threat would be".

I'd enjoy this match immensely but let's get real : The highest profile match is against Lesnar, and this is where anyone who has Seth's standing in the totem pole in mind would want him to go.

Being the one to beat Lesnar is as big as it gets.
