Meh, don't really care about stuff like that anymore. It's boring.
So, where do you guys see Seth entering the Rumble today? I could see the case for him entering 1 or 2, but I have a feeling he enters around 9 or 10 for some reason.
Needless to say, I'm pumped for tonight. IT'S THE ROYAL RUMBLE.
:mark: :mark:
Dude, you FUCKING called it :sodone
I predicted that Seth Rollins was going to enter at #8 to begin with, but I was only 2 spots off :lol
I think he'll enter #1 or #2 and go all the way to win it. He'll serve as the iron man for it.
With Balor, Styles and Bryan already in matches I think they'll need Rollins in the iron man spot. Wether Ambrose is out early as well, we will see.
Not sure when he'll enter but I think they'll give Mustafa Ali a good iron man run as well.
You were fucking right about Seth Rollins and Mustafa Ali being the top 2 ironmen :sodone
You were also right about Dean Ambrose being eliminated earlier to a lesser extent :nice
Edit:
I'll post more of my thoughts about Rollins later when I'm caught up with the rest of this fan thread.
Anyone else fuming from Dean, Joe, Nakamura and Ali's eliminations?
I didn't really mind any of their eliminations besides Mustafa Ali because Nia Jax had NO business eliminating him considering how he lasted an impressive 30 minutes.
Dean Ambrose lasted 12 minutes, which is fairly reasonable; but it still could've been way worse. Ambrose was in there for a decent period of time. Plus, Dean Ambrose got to compete in the same ring as Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Samoa Joe, Kofi Kingston, Mustafa Ali, Drew McIntyre, Pete Dunne, Andrade, and Aleister Black. ALL of those names I mentioned are pretty solid wrestlers, so it was cool seeing Ambrose compete with those names with the full time he had. He at least got 1 elimination on Johnny Gargano.
Samoa Joe lasted 23 minutes, which is an impressive showing. He got to compete with most of those names I mentioned, and getting eliminated by Mustafa Ali was a good way to put him over in their mini-feud together. Samoa Joe also got 3 eliminations on Big E, Curt Hawkins, and No Way Jose; so at least he looked kinda dominant last night.
Shinsuke Nakamura lasted 17 minutes, which is a fairly impressive showing. He did pull double duty tonight since he beat Rusev for the United States title earlier on in the pre-show. Nakamura could've easily lasted a few minutes, but he didn't. He got a reasonable amount of TV time in the rumble. Plus, getting eliminated by Mustafa Ali was a good way to put him over. Hell, it would be a cool way of inserting Ali into the US title scene as a contender for Nakamura's belt. Shinsuke Nakamura also got 1 elimination over Kurt Angle, who is also a legendary Hall of Famer.
Basically, the only problem I had with any of those guys you mentioned was how Nia Jax eliminated Mustafa Ali; but they kinda made up for that by having Dolph Ziggler Superkick her, Rey Mysterio 619 her, and Randy Orton RKO her. They at least had the decency to have Ali last a half-hour too.
You're right about the wrestling though. The in-ring action throughout the rumble match was fucking enjoyable for the most part. Seriously, the number of great wrestlers in this rumble match is INSANE!! There were at least 3-5 pretty good wrestlers who shared the ring at the same time throughout most of this rumble. The booking/structure of the rumble match may have been awkward at times, but the action mostly made up for that.
I strongly recommend giving this men's rumble match a rewatch whenever you feel like it to see what I mean. It's better when you don't expect to see over-the-top surprise entrants, and just focus on the full-time current talents in this rumble match
This is too precious!
Also Seth rocking a fanny pack :lol
Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks making Ryan's day :banderas
Seth Rollins looked SO emotional when he cut his promo in the opening segment. You can tell that rumble win meant a lot to Rollins. Hell, even Triple H got emotional tonight because he's that proud of him

roud
Seth Rollins went on to have a decent match with Dean Ambrose, AND he stood up to Brock Lesnar in the closing segment :mark:
Rollins getting "take his belt" chants and "slay the beast" chants last night :banderas
