That ending at WM29 was just soo awkward and forced and it was like the heat of hate for the Rock grew so strong for some reason. He wasn't at the Raw the night after and from then on every single time he has been on the titantron or his name has been mentioned he either got booed hard or ignored completely.

This is so damn sad, the WWE turned the coolest guy ever into someone who isn't appreciated and respect as much anymore. They shoved him in our face every show, held him back on the mic, and just took away that magic. Twice in a Lifetime killed this guy. IMO he is the true GOAT too.

The guy went from what I consider a top 3 of all-time pop at WM28 (had to be there to know this) to getting booed out of the building. I know for a fact if he appears at WM 30 or whenever his next apperance is, he will get booed or he will get a noticeably lighter pop. Im scared as hell. Believe me. If this turns out like the Batista situation itd hurt.

When they bring him back it needs to be the right way, help Daniel Bryan, do something epic with Roamn Reigns, change the theme or just bring a Hollywood Rock.

also, look at HBK. He was heeling it up against Bryan but next appearence he still got cheers.

These legends usually gets cheers all the time and usually only get booed at that heelish moment.

also I agree with PunjabHatesCena. I don´t think he will get that electric crowd reaction he got before. He will get a huge crowd reaction thou, just not that HUGE.

Nobody should boo a guy like the rock, he came up the hard way being a jobber for ages, he carried the company whenever austin decided he didn't fancy showing up for work, and he was a big part of the most succesful era in wrestling. If it wasn't for the guys like him WWE wouldn't be what it is today and your favourite current stars wouldn't be getting paid as much

The IWC is partly to blame for it, as well... I mean, many members of the IWC turned on him, too. The Rock was seen as beeing THE most valuable thing, the best trash talker, the man that everybody would want to come back insulting some certain great names among the current roster.... and once he DID come back, suddenly the very same people started to blabber about how he should have never came back and how he isn't the same he was before and how he tarnished his name and blah, blah... Although everyone knows not beeing allowed to show the same attitude he used to 15 years ago wasn't his fault. But some people never learn...

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Sure, there will be some smarks booing because of the stated reasons but they will be such a minority that they won't even be heard.

I agree man. It's disgusting that The Rock, The F*KIN ROCK gets booed. People begged for him to come back they literally gave up hope and were disappointed, then he comes back and has one of the greatest programs ever with Cena and all of a sudden he aint the same, he shouldnt have came back, cm punk, cm punk, cm punk, main-event.....lol.

He is bigger than the E and Vince knows this, he did something every other star aside from Lesnar attempted and that is to go pursue a different career and The Rock truly had success at it, he is the biggest action star in the world and he comes back to entertain and do what he loves and all you hear about is the IWC crying about how he is here to promote a movie:S lol smh

It's not Rock's fault he HAD to job and HAD to raise Cena's hand at the end of WM29.

If he gets boo'd then thats people's decisions. If that happens i hope he returns as a heel and those same a*seholes who boo him will then be cheering again like the sheep they are.

No chance he gets booed, only reason he got booed the show after WM is because the crowd expected him to be their and when it was announced he wasn't going to be that's when they started to boo. He'll still come back to a huge pop, only way he'll get any noticeable boos is if he were to do something to Daniel Bryan, but even then I don't think the majority would boo him.

If he does appear at WM30 he'll get cheered regardless of what he does. Rock is no longer a full time wrestlers and once wrestlers hit legendary status (Undertaker, HBK etc) they can do pretty much anything without getting booed. He could dish out a DDT to a woman in the crowd and still generate a moderate ovation.

The Rock's been booed before as a face, not like it's going to matter if he was. He knows more about working wrestling crowds than most of the guys currently wrestling. I have a feeling he'll manage.

No he didnt lol. he got a 7 month push lol.

I will say this, he put over star like no ones business. Probably the most unselfish superstar of all time. I think brock only had one win under him when he faced the rock and a feud with hogan, the bear hug thing and rock STILL put him over. That says alot. he put over hurricane, did a program with him.

I think this could happen. He had his name mentioned on screen and get got booed when his name was said. When the Rock came back it was amazing. But then he came back again, beat Punk twice and made him look bad, had 2 bad matches with Punk, lost to Cena in another bad match, and then hugged with Cena after everyone was already pissed that he lost to Cena. I can see why he would get booed.

I honestly believe if he had appeared after Mania on Raw last year he would have been booed badly because the fans were pissed at what happened at Mania.

When I was a kid, I was always a Stone Cold guy, and I still am, I'd much rather see Stone Cold return to be a GM than Rock return full time. Now, I dislike the Rock, I get the buzz (mostly because of the crowd reaction), but then I think, well, this guy is going to do one again. I'm fed up of people coming back because they have free time, then going again.

He'll get a cheer, but y'all know that Steve Austin would get a bigger one...
