If the Wrestlemania Main Event actually winds up being Lawler and Cole then they'll definitely need something along those lines to save the show.
Vince hasn't kept WWE at the top by putting people like Michael Cole in the main event of his flagship PPV though.

Well first off..Lawler and Cole aren't anywhere CLOSE to main eventing the show. It will be one of the last 4 matches or mid show to keep the crowd hot when Rock is not onscreen. Miz vs Cena or Taker vs Cripple H is closing the show. It SHOULD be Del Rio vs Edge but they're gonna fuck that up.

But don't worry..I suspect Rock and Austin will be face to face and sharing beers at Mania at one point.

What better way to usher in the start of a new era of wrestlers than by having two stars of a past era close out the biggest show of the year...oh, wait...that doesn't make sense.


Seriously, I understand the concept of having Cole/Lawler last due to the problem of commentating after the match, but for gods sakes. Just bring in fucking JR and JBL or Booker T or some shit...I really hope Cole is just trolling and he is not going to be the main event.

The match is not going to be the last one on the card. No way in hell. ADR/Edge, HHH/Taker and Miz/Cena will be the true main events. Lawler/Cole will just be the novelty match before the real main events take place.

When Cole says it will be the main event, it's to hype himself up as the uber heel he is. It won't be the main event, but it'll probably be the last match before the two World title matches, or even between them, and then Taker vs. Triple H will sadly close the show, since one of them will hang up his boots when he looses.

And regarding the commentary, Cena vs. Miz will probably either be right before the Lawler/Cole match, or the Lawler/Cole match will be right before the Edge/Del Rio match, with Cena vs. Miz following that. So commentating the Lawler/Cole match will probably be Josh Matthews and hopefully JR.

Wow is this a real thread? Cole/Lawler is not going to close the show, nor is it a main event match. It was all Cole just being annoying and hyping himself up.
