The Story:
The growing unrest created by lower than expected Wrestlemania paychecks and lack of direction for many young superstars created the perfect formula for a coup of World Wrestling Entertainment superstars and resurgence of the hybrid wrestling company, Major League Wrestling. MLW owner and former WWE Writer Court Bauer entered a fiscal alliance with multi-millionaire, Denver-based entrepenuer Howard Cooper. Mr. Cooper concocted a strategy based upon the premise that no current or past wrestling company provided its employees with financial security or healthcare, Cooper Enterprises created a liscensed worker union recognized in the United States of America designed specifically for those involved in the wrestling business. PWA (Professional Wrestlers Association) began to promote itself among World Wrestling Entertainment and TNA entertainers. The perfect storm began to brew in the locker rooms of the major wrestling promotions as well as independant promotions such as Ring of Honor.

Paul Levesque was the first to publicly respond to the outcry proclaiming, "World Wrestling Entertainment will not negotiate with the concept of wrestler unions. We do not believe this threat is legitimate and those that are loyal to our product will not consider the idea of signing with any kind of union".

Much to the angst of WWE, over 30 contracted superstars signed the union inquiry causing Vince McMahon and Board of Directors to negotiate with their employees offering some benefits being asked for as long as a union is not formed. The WWE Board of Directors also offered an exit for any employee who feels that the offer is not what they are looking for, allowing them to opt-out of their contract and join the PWA.

Rather than creating any public outcry, Dixie Carter and her staff immediately re-negotiated all contracts offering benefits comparable to what PWA was demanding. Dixie Carter's employees signed their new contracts aside from two who asked for their immediate release and were granted freedom to join PWA union. Other independant promotions would not negotiate with the thought of a union and did not have the assets to offer any sort of benefits. As such, many independant promotions lost contracts to wrestlers who joined the Professional Wrestlers Association.

Mr. Howard Cooper, President of the newly formed PWA, promised the workers that an organization was ready and willing to accomodate the contracts they deserve. This company has the financial backing to begin to tour North America immediately, a TV contract for a weekly television show, and open to possibilities of Pay Per Views. This organization has a history of success in the Wrestling business and have already began to construct a staff that will help create a competitive wrestling organization to conquer the monopoly of World Wresting Entertainment. Mr. Cooper, married to the daughter of Mr. Iger, CEO of Walt Disney and American Broadcast Company has secured a Friday Night 2-hour Primetime slot for a wrestling program.

Mr. Cooper and PWA introduced its employees to the company, Major League Wrestling. A hybrid wrestling organization known for its historic matches involving Mick Foley, Steve Corino and Terry Funk. Court Bauer immediately began to promote the resurgence of MLW online with Twitter, Wrestling Inc. and whoever would listen. Having already signed a contract to be represented from PWA, wrestlers could either chose to join MLW or remain unemployed until a company would be willing to accomodate union representation.

Court Bauer announced that on Monday, August 27, 2012 an online announcement will be made of staff, wrestlers and future tour dates of Major League Wrestling. He indicated he was confident that a mid-September launch is not only attainable but almost garunteed. Rumors began to run rampant online as to who Court Bauer has on his staff and which wrestlers have joined the new MLW. While some names are all but garunteed to be joining, it was impossible to tell who from WWE will defect to the MLW as Mr. McMahon and Mr. Levesque continue to negotiate furiously with the wrestlers threatening to leave even up to Sunday, August 26, 2012.

The stage is set for a new, yet legendary, name in wrestling to rise. Even with the whispers and label of "dirty politics" and many predicting a financial nightmare for Mr. Bauer and Mr. Cooper, there was a rising amount of interest and intrigue from wrestling fans who were waiting for something fresh.

On Saturday, August 25, 2012, TNA President Dixie Carter released an official statement on the TNA website:

"With open arms, we here at TNA, welcome Major League Wrestling back. Any competition that creates interest towards our industry will always result in good things across the board. We anticipate a good relationship with Court, MLW and wish James Storm and Brandon Silverstry the best of luck in their new endeavours."

LIVE! ONLINE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Major League Wrestling's website launched at 6:00pm Eastern time on Monday, August 27th, 2012 complete with Staff, Roster, Tour Dates and even Merchandise details of the resurgence of Major League Wrestling. A link was featured in the center of the website for a Live Stream of Court Bauers' press conference which is to begin in 10 minutes. The archive of the video will be available on Major League Wrestling's website. MLW office staff spent the day promoting the website launch and press conference on every online avenue possible, even wrestlingforum.com became active on the MLW launch with a new forum created specifically for discussion of the storied franchise return.

Court Bauer stood in front of the new 2012 black MLW logo with diamond behind the large letters. Bauer had a smirk on his face that showed pride and a little arrogance. His black suit, white shirt and red tie were all pressed perfectly as he stood in behind the hotel conference room podium. The Hilton Garden Inn located in Denver, Colorado was the setting of this press conference and approximately 30 press officials were in the room with camera's. Media outlets such as Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Bleacher Report and the highest profile, ESPN, were represented on this day.

Court Bauer: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the official press conference of Major League Wrestling. Today, August 27th 2012 is a historic day in the business of wrestling as the legendary and historic wrestling promotion of Major League Wrestling re-opens its doors providing high-paced, hybrid style of wrestling back to the wrestling entertainment industry. For those in attendance this evening, a file folder is being distributed among you giving all pertinent information that you can also find online at MajorLeagueWrestling.com. I would like you to take a moment to review, if you have not yet, while behind me a promotional video plays of Major League Wrestling. I will be happy to answer any and all of your questions following this presentation. Thank you.

OOC Note: The following post will give the full roster, staff, championships, tour dates, etc.

Court Bauer stepped aside as a video promotional video played with historical clips of wrestling with wrestlers such as: Mick Foley, CM Punk, Terry Funk, Jerry Lynn, Rob Van Dam and other stars who once competed in an MLW ring. The video cut out after proclaiming that a new chapter is about to begin. When the lights came back on Court Bauer stood proudly behind the hotel podium, and sitting in chairs to the right of the podium was Kevin Nash, Adam Copeland, James E. Cornette. To the left of the podium sat Scott "Raven" Levy, Joey Styles and Bret Hart. The six highest profile staff members sat at the tables set up during the short intermission.

Court Bauer: Indeed we are introducing a new chapter here at Major League Wrestling. From left to right I would like to take a moment and welcome some of Major League Wrestling's head office. Kevin Nash, Vice President overseeing Creative and Writing. Adam Copeland who is Vice President overseeing Talent Relations and Development. James E. Cornette the Head Writer. To my other side, Scott Levy and Joey Styles who will be the voices of MLW broadcasting the live shows as well as online content. And last, but not least, Bret Hart who is the President of the Professional Wrestler Association which is the newly formed Union of wrestlers who we are in partnership with here at Major League Wrestling. I would like to take the opportunity to welcome our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Howard Cooper, as well as representatives from American Broadcast Company who are in attendance this evening as we launch Major League Wrestling.

A brief moment of applause from this in attendance as Mr. Cooper and three presumably ABC representatives stand beside him all waving and smiling widely. The press conference continued for a total of 30 minutes, as Court answered many questions from reporters. At one point, Kevin Nash said that WWE is "scared" of competition when a reporter asked about claims of dirty politics and staff poaching. Bret Hart used the same verbatim that he has been using for years that "the employees cleaning the arenas after the show have more insurance than the wrestlers" to describe his goal of providing a safe, secure and fair atmosphere for the members of PWA and wrestlers of MLW. One reporter questioned Scott Levy's experience as an announcer, but was quickly shut down by Joey Styles who says he has "complete confidence" in Levy's ability. Adam Copeland introduced the profile of each wrestler and took equal amount of time introducing the unknowns as much as the knowns. The biggest stir was created by the announcement of Nick Nemeth (once known as Dolph Ziggler) and Randy Orton - the two highest profile superstars from WWE. James Cornette said that his contract with Ring of Honor ended in the Spring of this year prior to being contacted by Court. Cornette said that he believes that the hybrid, cutting edge style of MLW is perfect for him and that he was excited to put together a competitive and exciting product for wrestling fans.

Finally, Court Bauer took time to outline the first show that will broadcast live on ABC Friday Nights taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. MLW Collision! will include many of not all stars outlined and the path to the MLW World Heavyweight Championship will be announced.

The Press Conference ended with a bang as Mick Foley came to the podium and said that MLW was the best thing to happen to wrestling in over ten years. Website traffic was so high at MajorLeagueWrestling.com that the server crashed on two separate occasions causing some angst with MLW executives and mockery from analysts. In reality, the technical difficulties did not overshadow the ambiance of a great launching press conference as MLW is about to ignite on the scene.

MLW RADIO

Date: Monday, September 3rd
Hosts: Kimberley Albrecht and Jim Cornette
.
MLW Monday Night Radio was live online and on Sirius XM radio from 9pm-11pm Eastern time.. The two hours was filled with introductions of the roster and conversations with several MLW staff members and executives.. Below is a recap of the conversations that took place:

Nick Nemeth: Nick Nemeth (known before as “Dolph Ziggler” in WWE) was first to be on the radio and discussed how excited he was for this new adventure.. He talked at length about his relationship with Adam Copeland, who he considers to be a mentor.. Nemeth spent some time flirting with Kimberley, the host of MLW Radio.

Adam Pearce: Former NWA star Adam Pearce talked about his excitement to be on television and have the opportunity to reach a new level of stardom in the business. Cornette introduced Pearce as the top free agent wrestler in the independent scene and that other “big” companies dropped the ball on this one..

Bret “The Hitman” Hart: Bret talked about the role of the new professional union and how the employees of Major League Wrestling will be protected in unprecedented ways.. He talked about the roster of MLW including several stars from Stampede Wrestling including Teddy Hart, Tyson Kidd and more.

Kevin Nash: Kevin Nash, the Vice President of Operations, met with the Radio hosts and discussed the launch of Major League Wrestling.. He made big claims of Pay-Per-Views already being in the plans, Friday night rating expectations to surpass TNA Wrestling ratings within a month and that the opening roster that was. introduced is not the exhaustive list.. Nash said scouts are signing wrestlers even as we speak and that there will be one or two shocks on Friday night.. Nash wouldn’t confirm if he will be on television or whether or not he will have a role on camera.

Cornette talked at length about having a brand new book to be written, he said that the first few months will be key in laying the foundation towards what MLW is to be about.. He said that the there will be temptation to lean towards what has already been done instead of forging new ground but that this industry is desperate for something new...

Kimberley asked Cornette about the announcing team and especially Scott Levy who has never had an announcing role.. Cornette said that Levy as “Raven” in WCW, ECW and WWE was a master with the microphone and one of the most underrated superstars in the wrestling business.

During the portion of radio audience calls, one fan asked about what will be the headline feud as MLW begins.. Cornette said that he would be shocked if Nick Nemeth, Randy Orton and James Storm are not in the upper-card by virtue of their experience and accolades they bring with them but that people should expect new names to also take attention as well.

Court Bauer: The President, Court Bauer, was the last to have an interview and also opened to take fan calls.. He discussed the relationship between MLW and the Union as well as MLW and their relationship with American Broadcast Company.. He said that Kevin Nash will be the biggest “mark” for MLW but that some of his expectations are his expectations and not the executives goals.. He said September 7th is what he is focused on right now and getting off on the right foot..

MLW COLLISION!
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Arena: Mandalay Bay Events Center

Attendance: 6,400

OOC: For weekly shows this will be the recap style that I will use. For PPV or major shows I will give a full play-by-play results for the show.

Opening
A 30-second MLW video package plays which can be predicted to be their weekly opening during the Resurgence tour. The background music is the song “Keep Your Eyes Open” by NeedtoBreathe. The video package runs through the historic matches of Major League Wrestling including CM Punk dropping Jerry Lynn through a table. The video package ends with the MLW logo and then the screen cuts to the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada as the song “Famous Last Words” by My Chemical Romance explodes through the arena. The Major League Wrestling ring is in the center and the aisle way features stairs leading up to the entrance ramp. The entrance ramp has two giant screens to the right and left and a tall black curtain with the MLW logo across it. Spotlights, lasers and other lighting turns the arena into a setting similar to a concert. At ringside is the MLW announcer’s booth, Scott “Raven” Levy and Joey Styles are sitting side by side. The crowd is alive in the Mandalay Bay Events Center as the camera pans to several signs, WELCOME BACK MLW!, VIPER OWNS MLW and CACTUS JACK= ONE MORE MATCH!.

Joey Styles: We are live here in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Events Center. We are live on Friday, September 07. We are live watching an historic evening, it is the resurgence of Major League Wrestling!

Scott Levy: It is pandemonium in here, the crowd is absolutely going wild.

Joey Styles: I can’t even hear myself think Scott…. I can’t even hear my own thoughts!

Scott Levy: You actually have thoughts? Chuckles

“Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple plays interrupting the announcers banter, and from the curtains in a full black suit, white dress shirt and red tie comes Shane Douglas. The crowd pops loudly for Douglas. Shane Douglas with the microphone announced that he is not only the first ever Major League Wrestling Champion but he is now the man in charge, the Commissioner of Major League Wrestling. Douglas announces that the Main Event for tonight will be crown the first ever Television Champion. Two gorgeous women dressed provocatively bring a container and Douglas selects three names randomly to compete for this title. Colt Cabana, Teddy Hart and Kenny King … Douglas is about to continue when “Time to Shout” begins to play. Nick Nemeth comes to the ring and begins to mock Shane Douglas calling him “old man” and wondering how he made it to the ring not having a heart attack. Nemeth wants to know about the World title and Douglas responds that next week the President, Court Bauer will make an announcement about that. But since Nemeth seems ready to wrestle, Douglas introduces Nemeth to his opponent…Bobby Lashley!

Joey Styles: My God this Bobby Lashley is a freak of nature! I think Nemeth will regret interrupting The Franchise!

Scott Levy: Believe me, Styles, Nemeth doesn’t regret anything and he is surely not afraid of this guy.

Match 1: Nick Nemeth def. Bobby Lashley via Submission
The match was a very even battle, with both men having their fair share of offense. Lashley tossed Nemeth around the ring on two occasions bringing Nemeth to near falls on two different occasions. The crowd started chanting “Lash-ley” very loudly. As the match started near the end Lashley was about to hit his finisher a Thrust Spinebuster when Nemeth holds on to Lashley’s head wrapping himself around Lashley and holds onto the Sleeperhold with scissors wrapped around for the submission victory.

Segment 1
Randy Orton is standing in the back with Kimberley Albrecht and says that he is going to go to the ring tonight and make an open challenge to anyone in locker rooms who wants to make a name for himself.

Segment 2
Teddy Hart is in the lock room dressed in a punk/emo style with MsChif beside him. MsChif tells Hart that this is the first step to own Major League Wrestling and to take his rightful spot as the Hart legend.

Scott Levy: I think we just were looking at the first ever Television Champion.

Joey Styles: I think we just looked at the ugliest match made in Hell I have ever seen in my life.

Match 2: Dean Ambrose def. Kenta via Pinfall
Kenta, the man who created the “Go to Sleep” made famous by CM Punk was on fire for a lot of the match keeping Dean Ambrose on his heels. Ambrose, got the upperhand when Kenta missed a moonsault from the top rope and Ambrose took it to Kenta. Ambrose won the match with his finisher the “Midnight Special”.

Ambrose took the microphone afterwards and said that he has waited long enough to get people’s attention. Ambrose told the fans that they cheer for the same cookie cutter people, and that no one really appreciates wrestling talent anymore. Ambrose grabs Kenta and drops him in the “Midnight Special” again.

Segment 3
James Storm is in the back and is confronted by Mark Haskins. Both men have had some history together in another company. Storm tries to shake Haskins hand but he pushes his arm away and tells him that this is his time to shine. Storm shakes his head with a smirk on his face as Haskins walks away.

Joey Styles: We know that those two men have had a history before in Orlando…

Adam Pearce def. Go Shiozaki in a Tables Match
As the match began to heat up Shiozaki laid Pearce on a table and was going to frogsplash but Pearce rolled off of it. Shiozaki stopped himself prior to jumping and before getting his balance Pearce moved quickly to the turnbuckle and dropped Shiozaki in a suplex through the table for the victory.

Date: Monday, September 10th
Hosts: Kimberley Albrecht and Joey Styles

Kimberley Albrecht and Joey Styles host this Monday’s MLW Radio! as they discuss the premiere episode of MLW Collision, the start of the Resurgence tour, and online rumors. Both spend the first ten minutes discussing the opening show. Joey felt that each wrestler performed on an elite level, each trying to one-up each other. Kim feels that the weekly MVP has to be Teddy Hart who is the first Champion in the Resurgence of MLW. Joey disagrees and felt that Nick Nemeth opened the show with electricity and immediately created a buzz in the arena. Kim announced that the TV ratings have yet to be published but she is curious to see how many viewers.

Kevin Nash: The first guest was Kevin Nash, and Kim introduced the listeners to the first segment of the Radio Show to discuss rumors from dirt sheets and online sources. With the surprise roster additions of Shane Douglas and Chris Masters, online sources are reporting that MLW may continue this trend. Kevin Nash said that the scouts continue to move abroad and signing talent they see fit. Styles asked if there is any truth to Christian signing, and Nash said that he is not allowed to discuss specific names. Kevin Nash said that WWE has not delivered a complaint about CM Punk being used in the introductory video and that legally MLW owns all footage that took place in their storied history. Kim challenged Nash that only one female star of MLW was on television and where were the other two that we know are under contract. Nash said that storylines are just beginning and that several stars have yet to debut.

Following Nash’s segment, Kim recapped Saturday night’s house show in Reno that had 3,000 people in attendance and was headlined by Randy Orton, Nick Nemeth and James Storm in a threeway as advertised. Styles said that the crowd was electric even for a house show. They plugged the upcoming house show in Ganado, Arizona.

Teddy Hart: Television Champion, Teddy Hart, was the next guest and he stayed mostly in character. He told Kim that his victory over his two opponents was perfectly fair and that she must’ve daydreamed of MsChif being involved. He said that he is not sure if Colt Cabana has the guts to challenge him for his title and that he will be a fighting champion.

Fans called in to ask Teddy Hart questions. One fan asked Teddy who he felt should be the number one contender. Hart suggested that it doesn’t matter who will be the number one contender he can beat anyone on the roster.

Shane Douglas: The last guest was Shane Douglas who said that he was contacted by Court Bauer on Wednesday only two days prior to the event and signed a contract with MLW. He told Styles that he was excited to be involved with the Company. His contract is part-time and he will not be at most house shows. Douglas wasn’t sure if his role as Commissioner will last long, but that his contract is for one year and that he is excited to be apart of the Resurgence of MLW. Styles asked Douglas who is the “next Franchise” and Shane laughed saying that he will find out.

Kim closed the show talking about this Friday Night and that one match is being promoted and that is James Storm versus Chris Masters one-on-one. Styles said that could be the match of the night and it is not even the Main Event.

Ratings have been officially announced for the first three shows produced by Major League Wrestling. Collision which is aired in ABC, Friday nights 9pm-11pm eastern produced lower ratings according to Neilson system than expected.

September 07: 1.4 hour one, 1.3 hour two with an 1.35 average
September 14: 1.2 hour one, 1.15 hour two with an 1.175 average
September 21: 1.1 hour one, 1.05 hour two with an 1.075 average

With a target line of 1.2 there is some concern in head offices that the ratings are trending down. Adam Copeland, Vice President, responded stating "Rome was not built in one day" but it was Kevin Nash who created the most stir with the following tweet:

"how can u expect ratings with 1 household name? Time to open the chkbook n brng some more players"

The tweet was deleted 3 hours later, but the damage has already been done with bloggers questioning whether Kevin Nash brings a positive attitude to the locker rooms or if he is a cancer.

ABC was quick to respond that the contract they signed was for 3 months with expectation that it will take time to grow.

Major League Wrestling radio kicks off with Kimberley Albrecht welcoming her special guest President Court Bauer. Kimberley talks about Collision and the ongoing World Heavyweight Tournament. She asks President Bauer if the voting for the 8th spot is legitimate or if it is set who will be in it. Bauer said that the voting is 100% legitimate and the fans will chose who will be in the 8th spot. Court tells fans that the top three in voting is Cherry Bomb, Tyson Kidd and Adam Pearce. Kimberley asked about President Bauer’s opinion on the reaction towards Randy Orton losing to Cherry Bomb two weeks ago. President Bauer danced around the question by answering indirectly that Cherry Bomb is a great competitor and that she deserves any attention.

Fan calls started out the show and the first fan talked about the latest news on low ratings. President Bauer answered that he is not concerned about the ratings at this time. He said that each week is about setting a foundation, getting new stars over with our fans and creating captivating storylines and not about ratings. In time, ratings will become more of a priority.

Another fan called and asked about Kevin Nash’s tweet to spend more money on “big names”. Court responded that Kevin has always been one that doesn’t shy away from his opinion however he does not share the same thoughts. Court said that MLW’s mandate is to create stars and not share them. He used TNA as an example, that they have transfer growth of stars from WWE for over ten years and haven’t made any ground.

Kimberley welcomed their first guest, Colt Cabana who has received very positive response from wrestling fans from his performances in MLW up until now.

Colt Cabana: Colt said that he expects a Television Title shot soon, and that he firmly believes he can defeat Teddy Hart in any setting, stipulation or time. Cabana said that the locker room is very positive, denying any reports that wrestlers are concerned about lower ratings. Colt said that he has had only positive experiences in each of the shows he has competed in.

Kimberley discussed with President Bauer about the House Show performances. President Bauer said that the house show attendance is indicative of the fan growth of MLW. Tulsa, Oklahoma show on September 22nd drew over 8,000 fans in the D.W Reynolds Center. President Bauer also felt that on Friday Night they should draw the biggest attendance yet, of atleast over 10,000 people. Kimberley reminded listeners that Colorado is the home base of CEO Howard Cooper and asked President Bauer if Cooper will be in attendance and he would not confirm or deny.

Scott Levy: But what fans really care about, or atleast I do, is the Extreme Championship that will be crowned tonight in the Main Event.
Joey Styles: Yes a four-man gauntlet match will be the Main Event. A gauntlet match starts with two competitors one-on-one, once a victor is decided he has no break until the third person comes in. Finally, a fourth
Scott Levy: Mark Haskins, Go Shiozaki, Tyson Dux and my man- Dean Ambrose.
Joey Styles: The four of them are in the ring with Kimberley Albrecht. Each man will draw a straw, the longest getting the 4th spot the shortest the first and so on. Obviously, Scott, it will be a disadvantage if your stuck number one or two…

Kimberley Albrecht stands with four of the MLW superstars surrounding her. She introduces the crowd to their main event tonight, and has four straws available. Tyson Dux draws the shortest straw while Dean Ambrose draws the longest. The gauntlet will start with Tyson Dux against Mark Haskins.
Match 1: Adam Pearce def. Tyson Kidd via Pinfall
Joey Styles: Two of the top three in voting to see who fights Randy Orton next week in Round One of the World Title tournament are against each other tonight.

Pearce and Kidd battle in a great match, with contrasting styles of a ring veteran Adam Pearce and high flying Tyson Kidd. It was a teeter-totter match, both men getting the upperhand and the crowd was treated to several near falls. In the end, Pearce dropped Kidd in the Rack Bomb crushing Kidd and getting the pinfall.
Segment 1: Hell Hath No Fury…
Randy Orton stands in the back of the Pepsi Center, dressed in street clothes. He is met by Cherry Bomb who does not look like she is in a good mood. Randy Orton who was standing in a doorway, steps aside and motions her to pass but instead Cherry Bomb confronts him about leaving the ring last week. Randy said that it was “no big deal, he forgives her”… to the “oouuu” of the crowd. Cherry reminds him that he left her alone in the ring with two psychos and he reminds her that she attacked him. Cherry said that she hopes she wins the votes so that she can put Orton in his place.
Segment 2: When The Boss Is Here
Sitting behind a makeshift desk, Shane Douglas is sitting and looking through his iPad. A staff member walks in without knocking and Douglas questions why he didn’t knock. The staff member turns to leave and Douglas asks him what he wants and he says he is passing a message that Mr. Howard Cooper is en route.
Match 2: James Storm def. Chris Hero via Pinfall
This match between two big men went back and forth. At one point, the action spilled to the outside where Chris Hero powerbombed Storm over the protection rails and into the Denver crowd. Hero slid in the ring and waited for Storm to be counted out but he rolled in at 9 seconds. When Hero tried to continue to mount an offence Storm hit the Superkick out of nowhere. James Storm won the match via pinfall leaving Hero the loser.
Segment 3: Runs in the Family
The crowd erupts as Colt Cabana comes to the ring. He talks about his journey the past four weeks. He says that he did not come here just to be on a roster but to be a Champion. He calls out his enemy and Television Champion Teddy Hart but instead it is MsChif who responds. She cuts a great heel promo mocking Cabana and the Denver crowd. He wonders where Hart is, and she says that he couldn’t make it tonight. Cabana questions how the Televiison Champion could miss a Televised event and than says “it runs in the family, I guess”. And says everyone knows that Harts never stick with their commitments. Cabana wants a title shot next week and MsChif says that Hart will be here and there will be a match.
Segment 4: I Don’t Fight Girls
Opening the door, Randy Orton interrupts a phone call that Shane Douglas was on. Douglas once again was teasing the “new Franchise” talking about the open door to the tournament before Orton interrupted. Randy tells Douglas that he will not accept a match against Cherry Bomb if she is voted in. Douglas says that Orton can back out of the tournament if he wanted. Douglas leaves the office to “meet a friend” and Randy is left looking like he is pondering

A filler match clearly, that ends with Chris Masters used the Swinging Full Nelson and Taj Black tapped out immediately.
Segment 5: We’ve Travelled This Road Before
Nick Nemeth is standing in the back looking in a mirror when Bobby Lashley walks up to him. Nick Nemeth barely recognizes Lashley’s attendance. Lashley grabs Nemeth and slams him against the wall. Lashley said that for Round Two he will not put up with any games. Nick smiles and pushes Lashley’s hands off and said he has “travelled this road before and Lashley already lost once”. Nemeth goes to leave when Bobby Lashley catches him from behind with a forearm and both men begin to fight as security guards begin to break the two stars up.
Segment 6: Job Performance Review
Kimberley Albrecht stands by a limo as Kevin Nash steps out. Shane Douglas ran to meet the limo, and while en route he bumped into William Gwynn and Douglas yells at him to get out of the way. Gwynn tries to ask him if he has a match tonight and Douglas tells Gwynn that he is lucky to have a job. Douglas is shocked to see Nash, instead of the CEO. Nash asks Douglas who he thinks he is to have a meeting with the CEO. Nash berates Douglas and says that he never liked him. Douglas tells Nash to go “f**k himself” and turns to leave. Nash tells him that the “next Franchise” has to earn his spots like anyone else but Douglas keeps leaving.

Gauntlet Match for Extreme Championship: Tyson Dux outlasts Three Others
The show was left with 30 minutes for a Main Event that could either captivate the fans or lose them. Tyson Dux and Mark Haskins battled for 10 minutes, there are no rules in this gauntlet and chairs were used in this battle. The crowd was treated to one near fall after Haskins hit his Pumphandle Piledriver but Dux kicked out. Dux, who was busted open above his right eye, was able to lock on the Sin City Clutch leaving Haskins to tap out. With no break other than a short commercial, Go Shiozaki came to the ring. Dux was exhausted and had little offense for most of this battle. Shiozaki and Dux spilled out to the crowd and the fans were on their feet for this. Match. Dux had the crowd cheering for him as he was the clear underdog. He kicked out four times and refused to submit to a piledriver on the steps in the crowd. Dux was tossed into the ring, and Shiozaki brought in a baseball bat but before being able to use it Dux hit a quick trip and then locked on the Sin City Clutch again.

Tyson was blood stained, weary, and exhausted yet fans were chanting “DUX! DUX!” … as the commercial break ended, Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring. Instead of sitting in the ring this time the announcers were shocked that Dux ran out to the aisle with a bat and attacked. Dux brought the bat and crushed Ambrose in the gut and across the back. Dux drug Ambrose to the backstage area and both men battled out in the arena hallways. Ambrose was able to get the upperhand on the exhausted Dux. Ambrose dragged Dux across hallways and into the public area throwing Dux into a popcorn stand and into a magazine rack. Crowds formed in the hallways as officials struggled to keep order. Ambrose pushed Dux to outside in the cool, crisp evening in Denver. Dux blocked the Midnight Special and shocked Ambrose with a roll-up as the ref slid into position and counted a three. Dux won, and the final shot of the night was Dux lying on the cement, blood pouring from his face and the Extreme Championship laid across his abdomen.
