It has nothing to do with booking or only pushing "old guys". It's cause they are not a big enough promotion to actually make a real star. They are at the same level ECW was in the 90s. You can't make a real star in a place like the impact zone in the middle of a theme park.

TNA could take any original or young unestablished guy in the company and make him win their world title 20 times or have someone go on a undefeated streak for 5 years and they still wouldn't be a star.

ECW made stars and so have TNA imo.
ECW made RVD and that was it. The Dudleys were made into stars because of the TLC matches. The Austins, Foleys, Benoits, Jerichos, Reys were made stars in WWE and WCW. Everybody else was a jobber once they left ECW. ECW's so called stars like Raven, Dreamer, Sabu, Sandman and Taz never made it past the mid-card anywhere else.

Actually, if it wasn't for ECW, there would be no "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Everything else is right on point.

Austin was in ECW for what,3 months? Austin got proper training in WCW and then he went to Vince to take what he learn to the biggest stage possible.

Without Austin's time in ECW he would never have became Stone Cold. They let his personality run wild for the short period of time he was there and when WWF saw how good he was at portraying it, they brought him in. Even then they changed him about and watered him down. Eventually though he broke free.

ECW might have let him show off what he could do but Austin didn't become a star there. It would be like saying Punk became a star in ROH. It was just a stepping stone until he got a chance to go to WWE.

Guys in the 80's where made into stars and mainly they were wrestling in TV stations everytime people saw them on TV. If it wasn't a studio then it was a casino like atmosphere or other small arena.

Blaming TNA on not being able to create a star? It has nothing to do with atmosphere and EVERYTHING to do with booking and storytelling 101. The Hero's Journey, TNA booking needs to read that.

AJ Styles was world champion for over half a year and he's even got The Nature Boy in his corner and he's no more famous now than he was then. Nobody watches TNA. You can't make a star when nobody watches.

ECW had a national t.v. deal, higher ratings, higher merch sales, higher ticket sales, and higher PPV buys.

The comparison between ROH and ECW doesn't work.

ECW is pretty much on the same exposure level as TNA.

I thought AJ was recently voted PWI #1 Wrestler in the World. I must be thinking of someone else.

they gave him the shitty Ringmaster gimmick and thought it was going nowhere so they wanted to re-invent as a badass. Doubt anything ECW did influenced WWF's choice. "Superstar" Steve Austin's almost as prissy a name as you can get.

because the second they start building up a credible TNA star (lets face it they cant make a recognizable name like cena), they sign so ex-WWE star and he/she jump ahead of the pecking order automatically. How long did it take Christian, Angle, Foley, and RVD to win the title after their debut?

Is that the same reason why you continue to watch and post on TNA's forum?
People have the right to post whatever they want positive OR negative. If you don't like my opinion you can go find a new forum. This is not a "I LOVE TNA" forum.
