i dont buy the guy as a good clean guy..... . im sorry but Storm doesnt seem like a family guy.... especially when TNA is making him out to be a beer drinking badass like Stone Cold

i just find this particular aspect so cheesy.

me personally id write storm as this badass who is out drinking beer and training saying he can still drink beer and kick roodes ass

instead we get this guy working out like a boxer........... the whole image is like 50 50 to me i dont like it

Bingo, this is what I've been saying. It's still early so I will give him a chance and TNA a chance to make him stronger.

Working out 'like a boxer' in preparation for the biggest match of his career doesn't make him any less of a family man.

I'm not a wwe follower and i don't like mixing tna with wwe, but just to make a point, explain me one thing: steve austin isn't a family man?

You're missing it. He's a 'blue collar' common man, his appeal is akin to Dusty, Punk and Austin in that people see themselves in the character. Being a badass does not preclude family, if anything the combination of the two will stike a cord with more viewers who see themselves in a similar manner.

Bingo. Storm is meant to be a hard-working, normal guy who loves a beer and a fight.

Dont worry as soon as this amazing Storm Roode Feud is over,You will see Storm turn evil like Stonecold. Not meaning to relate to him in any way as a character but just that bad guy to the roster aspect. Storms cowboy thing is good.

some fans, right?

anyway i think storm is doing great right now and his fued with roode has been 1 of the best in a while, im sure storm will get his rematch at slammy and thats where he'll win the title. as far his character, its great. whats not to like. just because he drinks beer doesnt mean he cant be a family man, that doesnt make any sense.

To me Storm seems more like a family man than a beer drinking hell raiser. He walks out with beer sometimes but he just doesn't come off as mean like stone cold did. Even if Storm became a heel it I don't think he looks mean enough to pull it off.

The guy likes to drink beer but takes care of his family. Is this not the 2st century? Why are people pretending that good fathers can't be tough, love to drink, kick ass, but at the end of the day are all about their family. There is having a good time, which Storm loves to do, and then there is family time, which Storm also engages. This isn't about either/or, but rather both/and. Just because someone likes to drink and kick ass doesn't mean they are a single, selfish, 'stone cold', anarachrist.

Storm just doesn't have "it." Is anyone's favorite wrestler James Storm? The guy is a tag team specialist in my eyes. He works well as a supporting character, but I don't like him being spotlighted as a singles wrestler and especially not in the world title scene. I'm not going to knock his ring work, but when he's not in the ring having a match, I couldn't care less what the guy is saying or doing. He's not a larger then life kind of guy, which Austin was. He's almost too much of an underdog that you worry for TNA when they give him the ball. Stone Cold transcended being a redneck, while TNA embraces whatever the hell stereotype u want to call Storm (hillbilly, southener, redneck, etc.) Whoever is the judge of all around talent at TNA, I think they suck at their job.

There are plenty of James Storm fans. Listen to the reactions he gets on Impact. Listen to the reaction he got at Lockdown and other on-the-road shows TNA has done when he is coming out by his lonesome. All the signs and all the merch BMI sold...James Storm and Robert Roode are both stars. As I said before...TNA needs to stay the course with these two and not get cold feet and decide the experiment didn't work and decide to toss Angle, Anderson, RVD, and Hardy back into the top spots of the mainevent scene with a returning Jarrett.

I really can't even believe what I'm reading.

Some time a few months ago I "marked out" for Storm because it was the first wrestler that I actually felt was acting like a superstar. He went from being just a tag team competitor to a superstar. At the age of 29, having scene a lot of eras in pro wrestling, I don't get THAT excited about wrestlers that often.

James Bobby Aries are awesome, I'm repeating myself but at this point anything TNA continues to do besides building new stars is just a huge disappointment.
