I'm not sure if it's just me, but the old thread has become an absolute pain in the ass to open due to it trying to take me ten or so pages ahead of the actual last page. So to make it easier, here's a new thread.

Old thread for those of you who wish to refer back: http://www.wrestlingforum.com/booker/510932-official-btb-discussion-thread.html

~ No spamming
~ No arguing
~ Under any circumstances, NO "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!"
~ You can discuss other BTBs here, it's fine. Don't shill your BTB needlessly, however
~ If you have a question regarding "What Should You Do," just go with your gut instinct
~ Use references like google or onlineworldofwrestling for answers to questions you could easily find yourself

Post away.

Not down in the dumps Melvis, just angered at people talking about pointless crap.

Oh, and when people use AutoFormat and it is Triple Spaced, it really annoys the hell out of me, to the point where I just click out of the thread.

Thats why as much as it is time consuming I write it on word, copy and paste it over when im done and spend some 45 minutes going over everything and formating it when I post so it won't turn out all retarted with five spaces in between words.

I don't like flashy colors in threads. I prefer blue&Black for SD! and Red&Black for RAW!

I'm not sure if I've been living under a rock or not, but is "WELL EXCUUUUUSSSEEEE ME, PRINCESS" a catchphrase or a general attitude?

It's a reference to something, but someone said it in here in response to, I think it was DC pointing out his idiocy (nothing new), anyway, after that WCW Rules put a ban on it XD

I actually made the AutoFormat work the other day with SmackDown, actually. :D I was surprised. Oddly enough, the stuff I had bolded originally while I was writing the show on Word was fine, but when I quickly went back to it to bold all the speaker's names, suddenly on here, there were spacing issues. So instead, I left them unbolded and bolded them on here, and it all looked fine. The main thing I had to remember not to do was center it until the last moment, because if you do that and 'preview post' it immediately screws your spacing up when you go to post. So it worked. I think ASCS Shock said he had a way of making it work, too, if he feels like re-sharing his wisdom.

Good choice in starting a new thread, the old one was just filled with nonsense. Lets hope this one doesnt follow the latter.

YouTube videos - leave them in or take them out?

Had two comments on my thread in last couple of days. One person likes them in, another says leave them out.

I was planning to leave them out of the next one but now am not so sure. Thoughts?

The Youtube vids are unique-ish but I doubt people actually press play and listen to the titantron anyway. Might as well just put the name of the theme instead IMO. But it's your BTB, do what YOU want.

Youtube video links are fun but don't have them fifty times in one show for every entrance theme you use. It gets annoying.

You can have them on special moments and occasions to emphasize the return of someone from injury like when HHH comes back or Jericho then I am sure it would be cool to have an entrance video link posted. Just it looses it's effect if it is done fifty times in one show for every promo and match that someone comes to the ring.

Glad we got a new thread. The old thread was doing the same thing it used to do years ago when people actually posted here and it got way too big and wouldn't open. This was the reason we went to monthly discussion threads.

Yeah I don't think we need monthly threads, but we'll need a new one every now and then.

Not a fan of youtube videos in BTB. I never watch them, because all it's going to do is take my mind off what I've been reading.

We don't need monthly threads anymore. When we first started monthly threads, they would get to the size that the last one was before you closed it, every month.

I remember when I first became active around here was when the shit hit the fan about how active this thread was due to people talking about soaps and the like in here. My how things have changed in what is now two years since I became active here, I believe.

lol. Indeed for a long time this was just a discussion thread where people talked, and fought, about whatever the fuck they wanted to.

My how times have changed, now folk barely talk fullstop.

Having just got into ROH myself I was thinking the same thing - Emperor had the beginnings of one I believe, I genuinely don't know how far he got before he packed it in, and if memory serves there was someone called Jon Undead who started one and posted barely a show or two before he too, packed it in. He said he was superior to JPH, but considering we've agreed I need JPH more than oxygen itself, I'm afraid I can't agree with that statement.

To be succinct, I haven't seen a long one during 2010, which has been my general active time period, really. Someone who's been around for a couple of years might be more helpful.
