Match - CM Punk / Rey Mysterio at WM.

Moment - Culmination of Cena/Nexus story where Cena is fired and then appears later the same night, the next week, the week after, and then "returns" full time. While he was fired Cena still appeared more than 99% of the active roster.

John Cena pretending to retire. I really hoped he might actually leave for a couple of months. And that was one of the worst, lamest angles I've ever seen. How can Vince expect anyone to take retirement stips seriously anymore after that debacle.

The Nexus losing at Summerslam. Cena and the WWE had no right to win that match, especially the way it ended with Cena immediately taking out both Gabriel and Barret in the span of 2 minutes. It effectively was the final nail in the coffin on what the Nexus originally stood for, and became Barrett's lackeys.

But a disappointing match all-together? Orton/Edge at Over the Limit. Orton gets injured for punching the damn ring and the end destroyed what could have been an epic feud.

When I was on the verge of believing a group of rookies would win the main event at Summerslam, SuperCena comes in and squashes the lot of them.

The most disappointing moment in 2010 was The Miz winning the WWE Championship even though it was great to see Orton lose the title cause he was putting on “ZZZZ” main event matches with his predictability and being completely useless where the angle is about other stars and he just happen to be in the middle of it cause he was champion.

We get it, you don't like miz. You don't have to mention it in every thread.

Most disappointing is how Nexus lost at Summerslam, they never recovered from that :(

Still don't think the Summerslam finish hurt Nexus as much as many make it out to have. In fact, the angle became just as hot if not hotter less than two months later with Cena becoming a member of the group. What destroyed the angle was every single thing WWE did following the November 22 Raw in Orlando.

I love CM Punk, but the "New Nexus" sucks in part because it really is just about CM Punk, and the others are just accessories. Sure, the original Nexus was a bunch of guys underneath Barrett but the group stood for something tangible as a faction of "rookies." It was at least logical.

The Nexus, ugh they had such potential.

Best thing about the year was easily Sheamus. The look on the faces of the kids at TLC was priceless.
That TLC was 2009... you talking about the tables match with Cena?
