The main problem of the WWE is the main-event

This is a big problem. On the Main-Event, there is not many guys so of course, people like Cena, CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus aren't liked. We always see them and so, everybody hate them. I think each show should at least had 5 Main-Eventer to bring some variety to the show. Who agree that if we had more ME, the product would be better ?

Absolutely not, fewer if anything.

Build up the mid-card FFS. Thats where the problems lie.

A wrestler needs to know their spot on the show/roster and be in the knowledge that they can aim for a higher spot. Putting EVERYBODY in the main event (I know you didnt say everybody..)will cancel out any competition etc.

Not everybody but guys like Kofi KIngston for exemple should had the opportunity to go against a Main-Eventer and be credible against him

When you are the face of a show, you had to be liked ( or hated ) by everyone

What do you mean by "Aren't liked"? Aren't liked by the IWC or Casuals or both? Also, no the main event scene is fine. However, the Del Rio and Sheamus feud was dull. Glad that's over now.

There is casuals who don't like them. The ratings never goes up and no, the Main-Event isn't fine. Just look the Elimination Chamber every year, There is always guys who came up from nowhere because there isn't many Main-Eventer
Re: The main problem of the WWE is the Main-Event

I know what you mean about "main-eventers". The fact is that WWE doesn't have all those "legends" or "icons" like they use to have. Example: Michaels, Angle, Triple H or Undertaker. They were in such position that they don't have to be in main-event all the time to be "big names". They would allways be the "may win the title or not".

Now WWE has so much more "below the main-event" wrestlers that have no change in hell to win anything big like in Elimination Chamber. No one believes that they can win or that they would be believable champions.
Re: The main problem of the WWE is the Main-Event

Its not that, they need credible/talented main eventers, not loads of them. Punk and Cena are great, Bryan is a good part-time main eventer, Barrett, Ziggler and Ryback are strong cases for good upcoming main eventers. However Sheamus and Orton are mediocre as face, Del-Rio and Miz just don't cut it and Big Show is flat out past it.
Re: The main problem of the WWE is the Main-Event

Punk is holding them talent down. 316 days of title reign and you wonder why there is only 5 main eventers in the company.

Each show does have at least five guys who can be considered "main eventers", but they pretty much eat up all the air time on BOTH shows because of the brand split being ignored.

John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Big Show, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Christian, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz (even if he has a midcard belt), Rey Mysterio (even if he's in a tag team with Sin Cara), and to a lesser extent Cody Rhodes. Distribute these guys evenly amongst the brands and it will be fine. But
Re: The main problem of the WWE is the Main-Event

If they want to make a babyface a big main event star, then have someone new end Punk's mega title reign. It automatically makes a new star. But they won't do that, either John Cena or The Rock will end it, which is a shame.

Also, surely everybody has learnt by now, you're not supposed to "like" John Cena. They've booked it since 2006 that you're supposed to feel strongly about him, love or hate. And they've done a masterful job of keeping it that way.
Re: The main problem of the WWE is the Main-Event

The main problem is the lack of proper pushes and proper character development. It's like the writers have no idea on how to actually build up a young wrestler. This is why the talent seems so thin and dry. The ones who get pushed usually get pushed to fast and they don't get the chance to actually grow with the crowd which in turns produces a main event scene where only four guys consistently get reactions no matter bad or good. They also don't know how to give guys who are actually over despite card placement pushes. Kofi is a very good example. He's received a good reaction for three years now and all he's done is partake little feuds over a mid card title or get stuck in some pointless tag team. He doesn't even get a chance to showcase his mic skills. Does he even really have a gimmick? He's just happy damn near 24/7. But despite all this, he could actually make a good main event face. He just looks like a natural face and when he went against a top heel in Orton 3 years ago, he received damn good reactions. His shirts would sell because they are colorful enough. But alas, he's wasted and probably will never get a chance to really shine as a main eventer.

That's the big problem. They don't know how to push people effectively. They either push them too fast, do stop and start pushes, or they don't push them at all.
