Here in 2011 the lineup of realistic dream matches that could actually happen is rapidly diminishing. The likelihood we'll see the likes of Austin, Hogan, Flair, etc in a main event scenario is miniscule.

But there's two mega stars still in performance shape and even more importantly still in WWE's good graces to be allowed such a position. Of course I speak of the Rock and Shawn Michaels.

Shawn's quick decision to retire at his peak left a huge gap in WWE and with Shawn's recent resurface on WWE TV, the odds that he'll once again get the bug for a big time match are pretty good.

The Rock's comeback to WWE sparked ratings and probably buyrates even though he wasn't on the card in a match. We all know he's become more open to wrestling again, and maybe even given an easy schedule he'd make a semi full return to the ring.

Possibly setting up the biggest match in history. The only real setting I could see this happening would be WrestleMania 30. HBK will have been away for 4 years, and Rock will probably have a couple more matches under his belt by then. Hell, maybe even have the Rock be the World Champ and have the title on the line.

Thoughts? Discuss.

Michaels was not at his peak. Sorry but that was in the 90's, not now.

Both Michaels and Rock have claimed (somewhere, cbf getting sources at this time in the morning) that they are done with Wrestling. I believe Michaels only returned to the HOF and to hype Taker/HHH and Rock is/was back to Hype Mania and maybe possibly continue a non-wrestling feud with Cena.

How about a guy actually stick to his word for once, and stay retired?

That would be an epic match, very overdue too. Rock said he'd like to face 3 more people at the Hall of Fame and those are Rey, Cena and of course, HBK.

I don't think many would be angry at HBK coming back simply to please the fans and make a dream match come true. Unlike Flair, HBK has unfinished business in my eyes.

I believe HBK will be the 1 guy to stick to his retirement. You won't see him pull a Flair, or Hogan or whoeever else and come back on tv each week, etc.

That being said...he can be retired but still decide to do 1 more last match. Who does this rlly hurt? Mania 30 would be the right place

Rock vs HBK would be awesome
