Can anyone anymore become the Grand Slam champion with the I/C, US and Tag title losing it's value and even if they do, will they be respected on par with the other Grand Slam guys who had to win 6-7 titles as opposed to four that is currently available (am not counting US title here for it was not a direct part of WWE's reportiere)?

With as many titles as there are I'm not even sure what would have to be won to become a Grand Slam winner

European/Hardcore + Tag + IC + WWE/WHC title.

Only people who can become grand slam champion in the current roster are:

Taker: Needs IC title.
Regal: Needs WHC/WWE title.
Henry: Needs tag and IC title.
R-Truth: Needs IC title and WWE/WHC title.

Other people on the roster have no chance unless they bring back European/Hardcore title.

It'd be kinda cool, yet pretty pointless if Takers next WM opponent was holding the IC title, pointless because he's not full-time.

To be quite honest, at this very moment this is the only Grand Slam I'm interested in:

This would be too much to ask but how about Ryback doing a Goldberg upto winning I/C and facing the Taker who challenges him saying he ain't unstoppable and will be fed the biggest dog of the yard (in American Bad Ass gimmick) for WM giving Ryback the push as well as his first acknowledged loss on TV to none other than the Taker thereby giving Taker the much deserved Grand Slam as well after which the Undertaker merely puts the title over his bleeding face and walks out in style. Then, there can be an actual tournament with all the real talent to win the I/C. Too much to ask for?

Wasn't the CW title also considered in the game group as Hardcore & European? that means Rey is also grandslam no?

I do not think CW counts, for that matter, even US title does not count from what I know, it only takes indigenous heavyweight titles as per my understanding.

Any idea why US title is not considered which I know is not?

You are forgetting that Taker also needs the United States Championship to be considered a grand slam champion.

They do not consider a title that is part of another promotion to be in their criteria. The United States title is included in this because of WCW. This is why The Miz wasn't a Triple Crown chamption until winning IC.

No, US title is not considered for it is carry over from WCW and not a part of WWE.
Essentially, nobody is ever going to become a grand slam champion now, because out of the 4 possibles, 3 are sure as hell not going to win the necessary belts. Taker probably isn't going to even look at the IC belt either, but then again, he did get a Hardcore title run so you never know.
The grand slam is held by Jericho, the only person to win every belt eligible, all the others had at least one belt not active during their time with the company.. :)

It's stupid logic because the US title is a legit part of the WWE and has been for 11 years, the WHC is also the WCW title, yet it's counted for some reason. When the WHC title was introduced, it was acknowledged on the air right off the bat as the WCW title.

They should demote the US title to being a tertiary title, just so more people can become grand slammers. Both achievements are acknowledged by the WWE, and thus it allows them to make more marketable wrestlers on occasion.
