It seemed odd when Big Show brought out the ridiculous ladder.. I mean he's climbed regular ladders before, shit he even had a ladder match with RVD and all of a sudden he whips out this comedy ladder of stupidity and they act like it's needed so he doesn't break regular ladders.

I'm convinced the giant ladder was a safety net for John so he didn't have to balance himself on a typical shaky ladder like the rest of the roster does. Seriously. There is no logical reason for that ladder in there except so Cena had a solid stable platform to stand on when it came time to actually WORK on a ladder. It's such an insult to the rest of the roster who risk their lives in real ladder matches that this non-bumping moron gets training wheels on his ladders.

Except Big Show has used the giant ladder before. Keeping Cena safe was beneficial for sure, but I'm sure they intended it for Big Show (for spectacle more than anything). Cena's worked on regular ladders too by the way.

Seriously though I'd like to see that ladder in more matches it made me feel a little better that they were less likely to hurt themselves, and I think it was a better sight to look at if that makes sense than a regular ladder. As far as it being there for Cena, that's not for me to speculate but if it is true, yeah they are smart to protect their most valuable guy, but its bullshit that in comparison guys especially like Jericho who come close to death with many spots are treated as expendable.

big ladder been there done that...what got me was how cena avoided getting hit by a ladder (what he got like two shot against him) sad i love watching cena but they protect him almost the same way they protected steve austin towards the end of his career...i guess he deserves it but this was not the type of match cena should have ever ever been in....
