As for Daniel Bryan, he said that people thinks he doesn't like Bryan because he made comments before when Bryan won his first world title about it being too soon. Batista explained that it was not a dig at Bryan, but he felt they put the belt on him way too soon instead of letting it happen naturally. He did say that the WWE asked him to squash Bryan in a match early in Bryan's career and Batista refused because he feels Bryan is too good in the ring for that.

Batista got bashed way too much than he deserved, he'll have his title reign for sure it's just the matter of when.

I mentioned when he first resigned that Batista had my respect because of the terrific job he apparantely did as Drax in Guardians, but those comments back then did rub me the wrong way. This is why I was so happy to see they were taken out of context and seeing him put over Bryan like that last night, just makes it all the more better. Loads of respect for Big Dave .

I remember the match he's talking about. He also did similar with Ziggler. Honestly, Batista isn't a bad guy. I was critical of him being in the main even spot over Bryan, but they fixed that issue and he's been gold in the feud. Still needs to work on his cardio some, but he did much better at Mania last night.
